Good value price for the early evening menu, but food was only good, not great, and presentation could have made it look better. Still love Cote - we’ll be back!

Excellent service from Beth(?) again. As was my second visit in a week, enjoyed trying different dishes- great value for money on early dinner menu

We had an enjoyable meal. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately it got a little noisy for our elderly mother as the room filled up with diners. we will return though.

Food was good and good value for money (3 courses for £13.95 menu). Staff were friendly and polite but service at 5pm was a little slow.

Good food, very professional and friendly service, very good value for money. The restaurant is enormous and therefore more than half empty at any time - would make for a better experience if it was smaller or busier.

Excellent food and staff as usual together with tasteful Xmas decor! I had a great dining experience and this is my preferred restaurant and has been since it opened over a year ago. Thanks.

Delightful evening- lively atmosphere but not too noisy- excellent service- and delicious food- particularly the chicken liver parfait and the roast pork belly

Overall good service lovely polite and friendly young staff food very good and varied served nice and hot perfect would recommend for a convivial night out.

My daughters and I had a great late lunch . The food was excellent and a very friendly,relaxed vibe. Our waitress was fantastic and helpful. Will go back.

Relaxing atmosphere, with friendly staff and delicious food. There is a large choice on the menu for breakfast, making it a lovely place to meet friends, as it meets everyone’s needs from those who just want a coffee & pastry to those who prefer a cooked breakfast. It is good value for money & I am gradually woking my way through the menu.

The occasion was to celebrate a birthday. The staff are with exception very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. What more can I say. 10 out of 10!

Would have been a 6 if were seated sooner. It wasn’t busy but seemed to take a while. Food and service was exceptional. We will always come back, one of our favourite places to eat.

We love Cotes, have visited many times how. Lovely airy restaurant in the heart of town. Staff are friendly and efficient and food great. Something to suit all tastes.

Normally very pleased with Cote restaurants but this one was disappointing. Were offered bread and olives and discovered we were charged for the most expensive options (over£9) and noticed later we'd been charged for a beer we never had. Only seemed to be one waitress serving so meal was very slow and therefore didn't have time for a dessert.

Excellent French cuisine and lovely choice of menu. Beautiful decorations and attentive service. Prices reasonable especially on the early before 7 pm menu. My favourite Welwyn restaurant.

This would have been a 5 up until the bill arrived. We were really impressed but then we were made to pay 12.5% gratuity what happened to this being voluntary??

Really good food and very good value. Only criticism was that we had to go and find a member of staff to order out first drink. After that service was great.

We had the early evening menu, three dishes for £13.50, which is excellent value for money. I had the Langoustine tails to start, followed by Moules & Frites, with an apple crumble to finish. Simply delicious. Good service too, and so it's well recommended as a place to visit.

A group of 5 of us went here for a 3 course lunch in November. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Lovely restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Good food and reasonably priced. The Waiting staff tried really hard and were very pleasant but they were run off their feet! Need more waiters.

The service and food were good. The wooden flooring and other decor meant that the whole place was far too noisy. Regretfully uncomfortable due to noise.

Food excellent, offer good but service a little slow and they couldn't provide simply fruit for dessert unless it was a preprepared fruit salad which I'm unable to eat.

As always, excellent food and service! Been to many good restaurants to eat steak and this is by far the best I've been to. All the other choices are excellent too.

Great meal, great service but should require basic dress code at the restaurant. While paying via card, tips should be optional with the choice of how much to tip.
