Good food and atmosphere. Good value. Would have given 6 but was given someone else's bill which was high and a bit scary at first sight. Easily remedied and I have no complaints.

Good food as always and staff friendly and efficient even though they had been working through the the festive period. Was sorry could no longer order my favourite chocolate pot for dessert, as l had ordered from the main menu and not the set menu.

Nice food and good service on the whole and appreciate it was New Years, but hors d’ouvers arriving at the same time as starter was disappointing as we my wife’s main of grilled prawns which were under cooked and left her with a dicky stomach the next morning is not great. Salmon starter and duck main were good and the deserts excellent. Tart tartine was wonderfully crisp. Chocolate fondant was great and the cinnamon ice cream amazing however the chocolate rather over powered the cinnamon and probably should have been paired with the tatine.

Fantastic evening! Friendly, hardworking staff, great food and wine. Perfect thank you! We have been to Cote WGC many times and are never disappointed. We have spent 2 New Years Eves having a meal here and these have both been a total success. The staff are the best and work so hard!

Top class service, top class food and great atmosphere. From the moment you enter the warm inviting restaurant you are looked after and made to feel special.

Staff lovely as always but NYE menu not really to our taste. We prefer the choices normally available. Good lively atmosphere- will go again but not for New Year celebrations

Absolutely fantastic service, couldn’t fault it! Food was delicious and most importantly, we weren’t rushed!! Wine was excellent to the point we had two bottles! Superb, we’ll be back!

We appreciated being given the choice of where to sit and enjoyed a quiet corner at a round table where we could talk (and hear !) our guests who came for their annual visit. Food very good again ,service good too. Very enjoyable experience. Thank you.

We love this restaurant and was very pleased to have a lovely meal before going to the cinema. The food was amazing so delicious and tasty. The staff are faultless so polite nothing is too much trouble.

Pleasant greeting and prompt and attentive service throughout the meal.Fortunately , I was able to order the vegetarian breakfast as there was no fish or vegetarian option available on the lunch time ‘special’.

Our first disappointment in Côte, Welwyn Garden City. The menu had run out of sea bass and sea bream (on both Earlybird and à la carte menus) with only a mussles substitute (not everyone can eat shellfish), no substitute for the lamb parmentier at all. The 'crumble aux pommes' was underbaked leading to some raw pastry in the centre and anaemic looking crumble. On the Earlybird menu, it seems that the desserts never change throughout the year. Perhaps Côte could look at changing this from time to time. Plenty of friendly and efficient staff as usual.

Food was superb and top quality. Service was equally good, attentive but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend and will be going back again for more of the same

Best restaurant in Welwyn Garden City. Great service, great food. What more can I say. Staff are simply the best. Would highly recommend. Five stars all the way.

Service very good and good arrived at the right time. All or food was tasty. An enjoyable experience with lots of choice. Some tables slightly close.

The lamb main in the lunch/evening menu was very salty but everything else was delicious I would have rated 5 otherwise many thanks again it was lovely.

Looked after 2 adults and 4 young children very well. Good food and service arrived in good time and was very good. it was early but service very attentive.

The food on this occasion wasn't as good as it usually is, which was disappointing. However, the service as always was very good. Will still go back.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Cote in Welwyn Garden City. Even when the restaurant is busy like it was tonight the service is always fast and the food outstanding!

1starter didn’t come. Had to be reordered. Had to remind re 2nd drink order. Very busy due to Christmas. Food lovely. Special menu good chioces

Excellent service. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The price seems to have gone up. What would have been £50 is now more like £70, but we would choose Cote if we are going out to eat.

Great atmosphere, our waitress was brilliant, nothing was too much for her. Food was delicious. It was a very good experience and we will be back!

We were looking forward to visiting this fairly new Cote but I am afraid were a little disappointed with the waitress who was not happy when I disagreed with the bill and she actually started to raise her voice - eventually , because I was with guests, I left the table and went to see the Manager who understood the mistake immediately and corrected the bill - I told the Manager about the fact that the waitress had been rude and she said she would speak to her - it would have been nice if the waitress had come over to apologise but she did not This is such a shame as we are great ambassadors for Cote and when we arrived the greeting from the male manger was lovely - our guests live nearby and it is unlikely that they will return which is a shame because the Managers were good and overall I am sure the rest of the staff are too

They were extremely busy never seen it so busy before. But food was lovely hot well presented and staff still friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Once again, a very enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings. Excellent service from friendly happy staff. We had the Prawn Gratinee for a starter. This was very nice, but we felt it needed to have some bread served with it. Also we thought the charge for extra toppings on the burger was a bit steep.

Came for wedding anniversary. We were made to feel very special from the start as my mum had pre ordered some surprise champagne which was served straight to us on arrival. Food was delicious and service throughout was brilliant.

I always have a fantastic time whenever I visit Cote in Welwyn Garden City. The waitress we had last night was excellent,very friendly. Speed of service was brilliant too

Every member of staff was accommodating, friendly and attentive. The Rib Eye steak was very impressive and stood up to the known steak restaurants in London. Excellent experience.

Nice atmosphere with good (mainly French ) food and service . It was enjoyed by us all including the children. Great Thankyou we will return.

Only given the Christmas lunch menu and A La Carte menu. Later, when ordering desserts, we were given a December lunch menu - with more choices and £7 cheaper. When we queried this we were told everyone is given the Christmas menu unless they specifically asked for the December menu! Even though they knocked 20% off the bill, we left feeling that the restaurant is exploiting Christmas and ripping off their customers. Food was good but service was very slow. We won't be going back.

Disappointing starter, slice of brioche with mushroom sauce including half a mushroom.Sitting in the window seat very uncomfortable in full glare of the sun.Why no blinds?Not up to usual experience.

Lovely evening, lovely meal. The restaurant was very busy and had a good buzz. Service was first class and there were no long waits between courses. Only missed being a 6 as they added the birthday Kir Royales to the bill but this was quickly rectified.

We were greeted swiftly and taken to our seat. We were given the a la carte menu and the Christmas lunch menu but the December weekday lunch and early evening menu was not offered, however we found it and there was no issue ordering from it. The food was all very good. The only negative was the time it took to be served, the restaurant was not packed, we arrived at 1.30 as most tables were finishing, and yet it took an hour and 20 minutes for lunch.

The restaurant team were amazing providing excellent service while managing to turn around our three course meal in a very short space of time. The pre-order which had been completed online beforehand had not been forwarded to the restaurant so their job was confounded by lack of this data. However the whole team were really responsive which was impressive.

Excellent food and service. Belly of Pork was delicious. Extensive menu and gluten free choices. This was good for my friend who gluten intolerant. Shall come again.
