Very noisy & staff banging jugs whilst making coffees right by table. Indifferent staff. Probably not worthy of the already included tip on the bill!

We went with our Grandchildren No Children's Menu and charged full price for CHILDREN DESSERTS VERY DISAPPOINTED Will definitely will not be going to Cote on a Saturday

Ordered a large sharing garlic bread and some saucisson, mains turned up about 3-4 minutes afterwards and we hadn't even made a dent in either. Complained and told yes it was a problem with the Kitchen not really understanding ... offered to take the three steaks back into the kitchen which would then mean they would be either cold or overcooked if reheated. Meal was generally very average, no apology at the end or any attempt to compensate us in any way for having to leave our starters and come back to them cold after eating the main course.

Plenty of choice on a la carte menu and also fixed price lunch was excellent value. Service a little slow but not a problem to us as we were catching up with friends.

First time I've had breakfast there. The food was very tasty and staff were friendly. So a good experience and one I will be repeating.

We enjoyed a very nice meal and the service was excellent. We will certainly come again. We selected our meal from the lunch menu and thought it excellent value.

The service was very slow and although you kindly arrange a surprise for my friends birthday it came out after everyone had had dessert. I have had better service in this branch before

had a very nice meal except for the fact that the french onion soup was not available which i found strange as it was only 8 pm.

A friendly service within a comfortable environment. The meals were well presented and good value for money. I would like to have had the option of my own tip rather than it be added to my bill.

An excellent dinner with outstanding service , One of our party was celebrating a special milestone birthday and the staff helped to make this a very lovely celebration

Nobody came to take our order so after 10-15 minutes we left. We ended up having some excellent Indian food at Red, around the corner.

We love this place. We have visited the Cote countless times and find the food to be amazing. From the kids menu to the à la carte, this suits our needs very well with a lot of healthy options as well as enough to indulge.

Excellent quality food and service. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back. Booking was very easy especially as I signed up for newsletters and got rewarded a lovely bottle of wine which was a real bonus.

Very good meal and great at the gluten free options. Everything comes flagged as gluten free giving great confidence when you are out for a celebration meal as we were.

Lovely lunch. No complaints. Service very friendly. Confit de canard delicious. 4 year old enjoyed the child's meal. Booked for 5 but 6 turned up and was not a problem.

Good food as usual. Service a bit slow, even though when we arrived it was still quite early, and the place was not very full. Our waitress, although very friendly, seemed a bit lost a times. It looks like after getting itself established in WGC, they have lost the focus on top-notch service they used to have. Still overall a very good and enjoyable lunch.

Good food but the waiters are a little too attentive. We must have been asked at least 6 times if everything was ok which became rather annoying!

Food was cooked perfect, well presented and tasted amazing. Great selection on the menu and desserts. The service was really good. This is actually my favourite restaurant.

Food was lovely as usual. However the service fell very short and was unacceptably slow. Too few staff for a fully booked restaurant. Our waiter in particular needed to learn to smile more. Cost him quite a bit of his tip I’m afraid.

Mothers day brunch great value : champagne, juice, hot drink and food for £15.95. Extremely busy but staff and service excellent. Food good only gripe was our table was right by the bar and coffee machine and it was very noisy and distracting

Most comfortable table for six, with curved bench seats. Ideal for a family with children.Very good family fare, tasty and reliable. A very nice wine list as well!

Always friendly welcome and a lovely clean environment. Plenty of time to chat with friends while perusing the menus. I like the fact that there are new specials each month. Great food every time we’ve been here

Excellent food, good choice of wine. attentive service. Will definitely come again . Particularly enjoyed the two chicken dishes we had. All the puddings were enjoyed.

Great food, as always. It’s just a shame that the service is slow. The restaurant is chronically understaffed. We forgive them though because the food is so good!

Our waitress was efficient, courteous and accommodating and our food was excellent. The egg, bacon and cheese crepes were really good! Thank you for making our Mothering Sunday celebration such a happy time.

It was extremely busy as it would be for Mother's Day. It will be an event I will avoid in future anywhere.. The staff coped well for most of the time, with many doing their very best to engage with us. However it is an impossible task for the staff to be as good, excemplary actually during all my ither visits, under the circumstances.

Very busy on Mother’s day! Half the table’s food arrived much earlier and so got cold by the time the rest arrived. Slight mix up in the order as well but overall friendly service and excellent food! This is one of my favourite restaurant chains so it’s a shame they weren’t on top form on this particular visit

Could do with more staff , was busy, because of mother’s day . Too many waiters were serving us , didn’t know who was the main one ,also had to wait long time for the bill . But we had nice evening.

I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant that is so well run as the Côte Brasserie, the service is always excellent and the food amazing. Today is Mothering Sunday and they were expecting over 700 diners during the day and you could see at 1100 hrs this morning that all staff had been well briefed and therefore despite being very busy the experience was as always first class. Well done Côte Welwyn Garden City.

Lovely Mother’s Day brunch. Restaurant was busy yet all plates were served timely and hot! Really enjoyed it, my only small criticism was that the staff could smile a bit more -with the exception of the manager guy with the amazing red checked trousers and the front of house guy. They were very happy and welcoming! See you again soon.
