Another very enjoyable evening with usual friendly staff and good service. Missed the cabbage with the pork belly which is normally served with this delicious meal.

Enjoyable atmosphere and the tables are not too close together, giving pleanty of space to enjoy your meal. Nice choice of dishes on the menu and the food was delicious, served by friendly and helpful staff and there is no loud music making it a more enjoyable meal out.

Ok will go there again soon before Christmas We find it a bit cold in there in the winter

Food & Service very good. Shame there was a very noisy Hen Party in the restaurant at the same time as this was my Son in Laws first evening visit ! Would rather service charge was at customer's discretion rather than it be automatically added to bill.

This is a regular haunt of ours. The food is good, maybe slightly on the expensive side but you pay for what you get! Service is always of a high standard and nothing is too much trouble.

Always a good meal at COTE WGC. Staff very attentive and pleasant. the speak menu is extremely good value for money. We go to COTE a lot and never had a bad meal.

This is a favourite place for meeting friends for lunch. There is always a warm welcome, a nice atmosphere and the menu changes regularly and offers a good choice.

Service was slow we had to ask for both drinks order and food order to be taken. But in saying that both drinks and food arrived promptly. Food up to the usual standard if i had to be picky my tuna in the Nicoise was a little overcooked. Chocolate mousse was to die for.

A lovely golden evening with great food and atmosphere. Our favourite place to bring friends and relatives with lots to choose from on the menu. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, adjacent to a beautiful park area and yet only 1 mile from the Garden City Centre where the John Lewis store is located. The Hotel has delightful gardens with outdoor seating that makes for a very relaxing vacation. Good restaurant for breakfast and evening meals. All staff are attentive and friendly. This has been our 3rd stay here in Welwyn Garden City and it certainly won't be the last.

As always the initial greeting was good. We were shown to the table we requested. Our waitress was really pleasant and gave us sufficient time to make our food choice having helped us with the wine selection. The food was excellent for all four of our party with the seasonal fillet steak dish going down particularly well!

I think you should get free bread with meal, especially if it has lots of juice. £2.50 for 4 slices hmmm! Otherwise all was good. Food great, wine gre

Excellent food, helpful and friendly staff, great atmosphere. Would certainly go again. Had beautiful Duck and a mouth watering chocolate mouse. Bread starter served with buttter was fantastic.

Good food and efficient service. We were well looked after. Pleasant ambience but quite noisy as it filled up. Value for money Would recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was light and airy. The staff young but friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, both hot and tasty and very invitingly presented. It was our first visit . We will definitely be returning some time soon.

We had a very nice meal served by polite and considerate staff. A most enjoyable evening spoiled by the very noisy environment which made conversation difficult.

Enjoyable and good value lunch in pleasant surroundings. A window seat enabled good people watching. I had the basic menu - my choice of vichysoisse was OK but the bream with courgette puree and interesting salad was delicious. My partner had mussels Provencale and Roast pork belly with crackling, which were both good.

Excellent food served efficiently by friendly staff. This was our third visit to a Cote restaurant and, if this standard continues, we will certainly be visiting again.

I would of scored higher if I had not had to ask for the bill twice. Overall a very pleasant lunch catching up with a friend. My table requested was noted on the booking and we were very happy with the table.

Can't understand why the waitress who has been there longest and is by far the best at her job (and popular with customers) is leaving because she has never been offered promotion.

Highly recommend the grilled cod wrapped in Parma ham. Creme Caramel is the BEST ever. Efficient service. I will certainly eat here again when in Welwyn Garden

Greeted with a smile, and was given a choice of tables, choose a window table with views over the parkway. Service was prompt and efficient, food was at the right temperature and nicely presented. surroundings are nice and clean.

I was very impressed by the layout, decor and atmosphere. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday evening so must be a popular destination. There was a good selection of dishes on the menu and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It was nice to enjoy a slightly more sophisticated dining experience rather the usual Pasta / Pizza establishment.

On this occasion service was rather slow considering the restaurant was fairly quiet. The rare steak came well done & the second attempt was exactly the same. Manager was apologetic & refunded the cost of the meal. We will continue to go to Cote as this is an unusual experience and when they get it right it’s very good value.

Good food and service as always. Was out for a birthday lunch and ate off the lunch set menu which offers good choice and is well priced.

Having eaten in many of your restaurants in different towns I am always assured of good food and good staff and Welwyn Garden City did not disappoint.

1. We had to wait to be seated for a few minutes, although staff kept passing us. 2. My mother had the fish pie and it was extremely salty, had to send it back. Happy to change, so pleased with that. Staff not the happiest, didn’t look like they wanted to be there. Otherwise we enjoyed our food.

It has always annoyed me that company's put a service charge on the bill as they did with mine, usually because they pay there staff low wages and make it up with service charge. If I thought my waiter/waitress did more that they were paid for I would like to reward them not just get an extra 12 1/2 %for doing what there company pay then to do. on this occasion I thought the service was adequate and no more.

The overall experience was ok but we had 2 problems. We had a party of 5 and shared a few starters while we waited for our food, the main courses didn't arrive at the same time ( a minor problem ) two people had ordered ribeye steaks ( I was one of them ) these were the last thing to arrive from the kitchen, I can honestly say that this was definitely one of ( if not ) the toughest steaks I had ever eaten. this was the first time that the other person had eaten at Cote but he has said that he will not eat there again because of this ! I didn't complain and encouraged him not to because we didn't want to go through the wait for another one ( which would probably also be tough as the two we had ordered were ). The other problem was that a tomato salad had been ordered with the other steak which didn't arrive while we were eating I asked about it but it still didn't arrive.. I cancelled it when we placed our dessert order. I am sad to report this because I have had meals at this and other Cote restaurants and generally they have been good. This is reflected in this point score, if I had not been before it would have got a 2 !

I use these restaurants in various locations and it is refreshing that one can rely on the same quality menu, friendly atmosphere, good service etc. Across the chain

We have been to Cote many times and thankfully the food is always consistently good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we had a very good time there.

Cote is brilliant - delicious food, very reasonably priced, excellent service. It's the best 'chain' restaurant out there and I happily eat there regularly and often!

Eat here on a regular basis, sometimes due to having received an offer sometimes not. Good food, slightly on the pricey side but worth it. Pleasant Saturday ambience.
