Very good food. The staff were very busy. Would recommend more staff at Peak Saturday Lunch hours. We ordered drinks and waited 20 mins for someone to take our food orders. However was very nice and enjoyable lunch.

The food was very good, we opted from the set menu. The only thing I do not like is the 12% service charged slapped on the bill. I do not think any restaurant should so this.

Had a lovely meal, 3 of us, all had different starters, main and desserts. Food excellent for all of us, staff as usual were very efficient, friendly and polite. Wine also very good. All in all a lovely evening in lovely surroundings and a good atmosphere.

The food was good, as usual. The restaurant was busy and there seemed to be a shortage of staff on this occasion but they were coping.

Excellent food, excellent service, had to wait a bit longer than desired for the food but it was a particularly busy day, 27 December.... Have been several times, food never disappoints.

Our table was not ready when we arrived at our booked time so we were given complimentary drinks whilst we waited which was fine but there was limited space to stand in. Table was booked for 8pm and starters only arrived at 9.15pm. We had selected online in advance so not sure why it took so long? There was a very loud and rowdy group having their Christmas party behind us. They were having some sort of awards ceremony which saw feet stamping and table hitting to replicate a drum roll before 10-15 awards were announced, this was followed by loud cheers and applause 10-15 times as the winner was announced. It was difficult for our group to have a conversation and it was not suitable behaviour for a restaurant. Our waiter did ask us if it was bothering us, it was but there wasn't really anything the waiter could do as it was beyond his control. The highlight of the meal was the fire alarm going off in the middle of it! I believe a member of the noisy group set it off. The food was great and the waiting staff were very friendly, polite and generous with the complimentary drinks + money off the bill, such a shame about the delays, fire alarm and noise levels but at least the waiting staff acknowledged the impact this all had on our experience at the time. I would return as the food was delicious and the staff were good, but I'd probably go for lunch at a quieter time!

Good food and exelant value . Staff polite and curtius helpful . Clean facilities. Good atmosphere a shame it's so far from where where we live . Other restaurants should follow your example

We chose from the Christmas menu. Shown to our seats by the manager who kindly took our dripping wet coats without batting an eyelid. Our young waiter was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and the wine, excellent.

We enjoyed our dinner at Cote Welwyn Garden City. The service was good despite the restaurant being busy. The menu had some new items and some of our party ordered them. For some reason the French beans that we ordered extra did not turn up until one of us almost finished his dish. We were still charged for them and had to get the bill adjusted. Overall, a good evening in a nice place.

Relaxing atmosphere to meet friends for breakfast. Good choice on the menu from pastries to a full cooked French or English breakfast including vegetarian choices. I have tried a few of the dishes over the year & there is not one that I would not order again. Over the last few months it has become my monthly treat and friendly helpful staff add to the enjoyment.

Consistently good food and pleasant service. Inexpensive lunchtime menu served up to 7pm . That’s when the cheap menu stops and you have to choose from the a la carte menu.

Always consistent. Had an excellent ribeye perfectly cooked. Staff are very friendly and whilst being efficient. We are always given a warm welcome which is why we keep going back.

Visit this branch on a regular basis. Slightly slower service this visit but not a problem. Food hot and tasty, made the adjustments that were ordered. Friendly, competent waiting staff

Great relaxing atmosphere, with friendly helpful staff. Exceptionally good food, that it is now a regular place for a breakfast treat. Wide choice of menu for breakfast and cooked dishes served hot with no taste of oil or grease left on the plate - delicious.

The foid is consistently good and staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. We always enjoy the Cote experience and are regular visitors and recommend to friends and famoly.

Really reliable and consistent with lovely staff for whom, despite being busy, nothing was too much trouble. Nice building so the tables are not too tightly packed.

We were given a great table ( centre booth) and we had a lovely efficient waitress. Food was fab, atmosphere vibrant and on a Wednesday!

Fab meal from the prestige set menu, service was a little slower than usual but there didn’t seem as many staff on. Was still a good evening though.

Service was great considering we were there on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The food as always was hot and tasty. Cant wait for another reason to go back and eat!

Excellent breakfast, we were served by a trainee server who was working along side a more experienced server, this was fully explained to us and we were happy.

Good food, slightly on the pricey side but guess you get what you pay for. Service professional and not overly intrusive. Slightly noisy this time as large party with children running around. However fortunately left soon after we arrived. Not the restaurants fault of course.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, with space between the tables. I have tried quite a few things on the menu, but I love going there for a relaxing breakfast. The ingredients used are delicious & very tasty. Can’t wait till my next visit.

As usual food very good but unusually the service was slow. We had to ask for the little extras such as a hand wipe/napkin for the mussels as well as our forgotten order of coffee.

Good - creme caramel, tomato salad, seated quickly, good atmosphere. Not so good - wine was disappointing, had to keep asking for stuff (water, Parmesan, a glass for water).

I took my daughter in law for lunch today and the food was excellent. The service was good too. We definitely like this restaurant and will go again.

Excellent food , wonderful food , great service especially from manager named Vagner. Could not be bettered. Will certainly return very soon . Côte always give value for money
