Eat here frequently always good service and food. A lovely place for a 'grown up' meal

The Managers and staff were as usual a delight. It was my sister's special birthday lunch and they pulled out all the stops to provide us with fantastic food, good service, happy,, cheerful staff and to top it all a beautifully piped chocolate Birthday wish surprise for my unsuspecting lil' Sister. Thank you all at Cotes 👌

The food was delicious, steak frites, steak cooked to perfection (rare and perfect). Staff were friendly and helpful, it was a bit chilli but they turned the air on down when I asked. We will be back

We booked a table for lunch and had a fantastic experience: wide open windows and warm breeze, delicious food, a bottle of Cote de Provence rose and impeccable service from our French waiter. Thank you Cote WGC!

We had a booking for 2.30pm to which we arrived on time to find a huge queue out the door for the restaurant. We were told by a manager that there would be at least 30 minutes wait and to come back. There were so many people in front of us in the queue (at least 4-5 parties waiting for tables of a similar size) so we didn’t believe the 30 mins wait was true as we had been advised. When looking inside the restaurant tables were still waiting for food and no sign of anyone moving. After waiting for the advised time and no movement in the queue at all, we gave up. My mum was so upset as we had booked especially for Mother’s Day. We were not offered anything in return for the poor service and will avoid booking with Cote in future.

The food as always was excellent - service left a lot to be desired on this occasion. That said, it was recognised and we were given a 5% discount without having to ask. Will definitely go back.

Eat here regularly. Restaurant on a Saturday is always lively was particularly busy on this visit. Food and service always of a high standard. A great 'grown ups' place to eat.

It was a Saturday so had to wait a little longer than usual (which by the way is usually very good) between courses, but was not really a problem as was not in a hurry. Food as always very good and staff very pleasant, was taking a guest who had not been before and she enjoyed her meal and wine very much as did I.

Love this place anytime of day & on this occasion it was a breakfast treat. Good choice on the menu, food served to order & a pleasant relaxing atmosphere to dine with family & friends.

This visit to Welwyn was spoilt by poor service. We were greeted and shown to our seat OK but then left with no sign of our waitress for a considerable time though the restaurant was not busy. We eventually had to go and find our own water and chase somebody to come and take our order. We had two young children with our party and asked for their food to be served quickly whilst we had starters but it did not appear until the other main courses were served. The only good thing was the food was up to their normal high standard.

Went on a Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday. Had put this on the booking and was given 2 free glasses of fizz to help celebrate. Food and service always of a high standard and a lively atmosphere too.

Shown to our table,given time to browse the menu,water placed on table,hot drinks arrived before the delicious food. Caring well presented staff.Nothing to much trouble for them.

The attentiveness of the staff and tasty food make this a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant is clean and good value for money. The seating arrangement also provides for big groups or privacy.

Food was tasty, but potatoes were hard. By the time we asked for more , they arrived after we had finished our meal ! Object to paying extra for verpgetables. Not happy about the 12.05% gratuity automatically added to the bill . Service was good.

Visited this Cote with our daughter. We had great food, the service was great and good atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy the experience again.

A lovely get together with friends great friendly service and the food as usual was excellent. We will all definitely go back in fact I’m going for lunch again today

I never seem to be able to stop raving about Cote Brasserie’s but mostly the one at Welwyn Garden City and we love the formulae breakfast at the weekend.😀

Always a lovely experience eating at Côte in Welwyn Garden City. This time we went in for Breakfast. French Toast- Delicious. Full English- Delicious. Veggie breakfast-delicious.

Lovely location for a relaxing breakfast with friends. Tasty produce cooked to perfection & served by friendly staff. Choice of breakfast menu to suit dietary needs & you don’t have to have a cooked breakfast, you can just have a lighter option of fruit or pastries & coffee.

We had an excellent meal, and took friends who had never been to a Cote before. They were very pleased and will be eating in Cote again.
