I had the sole which was the best meal I have ever had at Cote, delicious... Waiter was excellent, wine went very well with the meal, overall a thoughourly enjoyable evening.

Was kept waiting for about hour before getting our food ... also waited ages for coffee ... which we ordered before we actually sat down ..

Food ws beautiful but the guy who served us could have smiled.

Lovely lunch, good ambience. A cut above other restaurants on the high street in my opinion.

Friendly welcome, prompt service and excellent food. When we arrived we were shown to our table promptly and offered our free seasonal cocktail. Very nice, not too sweet. The four of us had starters and mains and 3 desserts. All of the food was excellent, much higher quality than you would expect in a chain. In particular my husband loved the tuna carpaccio and said his seafood linguine was amazing. The apple tart was light and delicious. We had brandy coffees to finish and felt very pleased with our evening at Cote.

Another enjoyable experience at the Cote in Welwyn Garden City. Lovely table location, food and service were both very good and the celebratory birthday drink was a nice touch. Thank you!

Overall very nice meal. Starters and puddings slightly overpriced. I was underwhelmed by the Provencal sauce for my chicken.

Great food and service.....only negative was no French fries available! A very short trip to local shops would have easily resolved this....

I eat at Côte in WGC about once a fortnight, and one problem that constantly recurs, and did again today, is the difficulty in getting our bill and then paying. Today in the end we had to take the bill to the till at the entrance. The restaurant was not at all crowded by this point (3pm). However, the service before and during the meal was good. The meal was good, too, though this time the sea bass was a bit overcooked (so was the fennel, but I like it that way). The crème caramel was fantastic, as it always is; I've never found better anywhere else than Côte.

Food and service was great. Just a small let down at the end with errors on the bill.

Lovely lunch but the service was a bit slow. We were seated quickly but it was at least 10 minutes before we were asked for a drink order. The a further wait of 5 minutes before ordering food. However the staff were friendly and communicative.

Always perfect. The team looks after us really well, which is why Cote is a weekly dinner date for us. Superb. Thank you.

We visited on a weekday evening party of four and follwoing a previous complaint had a voucher to contribute to our meal. The team at Cote totally redeemed themselves. The food was (as always) excellent and the service (which had been the previous problem) was attentive and friendly, we were not rushed to leave, thnak you cote for a lovely dining experience

My third meal for this month. Last night dinner with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the food fantastic atmosphere friendly and very efficient staff to top it all fresh and delicious food.

Took some friends for brunch, their first time. All food excellent with first class service. Nothing too much trouble. Can't wait to go again.

An excellent evening. We had already decided to share the cote de boeuf which was fantastic, cooked to perfection with delicious fries as. ever. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The service was excellent and the food was exquisite. We enjoyed our dinner and my 16 month old son loved interacting with the staff.

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch which was as expected but the restaurant was very busy from 1.00 o'clock. Service was rather slow for the main course and the coffee. The drinks and starter were served in acceptable time.

Food was all lovely. Only very minor point was the zucchini frites where a little too salty. Service was excellent.
