A lovely visit to cote for breakfast would throughly recommend

Our favourite restaurant in Welwyn always good food and service

Great food, wonderful onion soup, excellent free cocktail and top service. Best restaurant within 10 miles

We were three. Two enjoyed the lamb rump and one tried the cassoulet. All reported their meals were well prepared and very tasty. The cassoulet was very filling. The service was attentive and prompt. We'll be back.

As always excellent service from the Cote staff and food.

Basically very nice. Delightful waitress. However my friends minute steak was dreadful, she couldn't eat it or get a knife through it. Very pleased it was struck off the bill.

The fish in my wife’s meal was very small and over cooked. We drew this to the attention of the waiter and the meal was not only replaced but also taken off the bill. The service at cote was as ever excellent but on the evening was a little slow probably due to the restaurant being extremely busy.

We went for a meal on the 31st July and the service was dreadful.we complained and received a voucher for another meal.we went tonight the1st November and the service was even worse!

It was my wife’s birthday, hallowe’en. The service was prompt and polite. The food was excellent. I normally have a steak medium because at many establishments the cooking can vary so much. However I asked for medium rare and it was perfect. Many brownie points earned.

Very disappointing this time. ( usually excellent) My Breton chicken was too tough to eat and the smaller piece was greasy and slimy. Our friends glasses were dirty and needed changing. The pork dishes were small and poorly presented. The chocolate sauce served with the vanilla ice cream was barely warm. The restaurant was very cold so the whole experience of meeting up with our friends from France was spoilt.

A lovely meal for my sons 20th birthday. The staff were very attentive and made the meal very special! Was a nice touch singing happy birthday while they delivered his complimentary desert to him. Thanks guys!

Lovely, friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere and absolutely fantastic food. Ate from the prestige menu which was extremely well priced. Will definitely return.

The Celeriac soup with some sourdough bagette followed by Steak Frites and a glass of Lalande Rouge was an lovely lunch

Unfortunately service wasn’t up to your usual standard and therefore our experience on this occasion was very disappointing- not sure if and when we’ll be back!

Welcome to the restaurant was nice. Plenty of space to sit so we sat where we wanted to. Lots of choice on the menu, nice to have a different options and courses. Would say it's a touch on the expensive side.

The food was delicious, ambience chilled and the service friendly and attentive

Unfortunately it took a while to take our order. Then the waitress only put one out of two orders through to the kitchen so only one arrived. By the time that had been eaten the second order arrived. Our hot drinks were delayed too & were therefore not served with our breakfast. Our bill was then incorrect when I asked to pay. The waitress was very apologetic & only charged us for 1 breakfast & also gave us 2 free pastries. This was appreciated & made up for a generally poor experience at cote today.

Sensible to book a table as it was a busy Sunday morning.They were also short of staff but very apologetic.I thought the brunch was excellent and a good selection/choice for all dietary needs. I was overall very impressed and would certainly go again as this was my first visit.

We enjoyed our evening very much. We have always been very satisfied with all our visits to this Cote restaurant whether just for a morning coffee or an evening meal. The food and the staff are excellent and I Lund recommend these restaurants to anyone for great food and reasonable prices

Very nice as always but my wife had the Haddock fillet with mushroom fricase and mentioned it was over seasoned so did not enjoy the fish as much as she should had.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. They coted themselves in glory.

We were not very impressed with the aperitif of vodka and cassis which was half full in our glasses although we never complained we noted it as we come to cotes every month but most certainly were not impressed with the aperitif especially as only one was mentioned on our bill. Which would have been right as the two together would have been one very disappointing. When we come in November we will be more vigilant. Food is always good.

We ate at Cote for my daughters 23rd b’day. What a very nice & generous gesture from Cote to give us comp Kia Royales to mark the occasion. Also, a b’day message by way of her dessert which had “happy birthday” written in chocolate. Cote always delivers on the food & service front.

Great Place, Great Staff, Great Atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the staff went out of their way and presented my son with a lovely little cake with Happy Birthday written on the plate. It was brilliant.
