Staff are all so friendly and smiling and very polite . The food was the best I’ve eaten , I’m always so happy when you leave . Would a million % recommend people to eat there . Will differently be back . Thank you

Six of us met up to celebrate an engagement. Delicious meal, excellent service. The restaurant is light and spacious. We reserved a table in advance. In retrospect it wasn’t a great allocation of table, (we were a bit squeezed in, diner-style in the corner) but there is plenty of other spacious seating in the restaurant. Overall a good experience and great food!

We went as a group of 14 friends, had the best time, staff were attentive and food was great.

The cassoulet was absolutely delicious and huge. The sea bass was lovely but a couple of potatoes would have been goid without having to pay for a side. The service was excellent as always. We love Cote in Welwyn Garden City and are regular customers and will continue to be so.

Some of the food on the menu was not available, Example, no red cabbage for the venison dish on offer, that was a disappointment.

Lovely food, great service - birthday celebration, given complimentary glass prosecco.

Wonderful experience for my birthday good atmosphere especially on a monday night. Food and drinks exception.

We were a group of 7, and overall had a very good evening. The food was very good, but 2 of the duck courses needed re-heating, and the paid-extra cheese on the burger was very sparse.

Great food and atmosphere as usual, the service was slower than usual but the restaurant was busy. Looking forward to our next visit.

I booked the table for a family party, eleven people in all. We all enjoyed the quality of food, and the wide variety of our choices. The service, as always, was excellent and the ambience was perfect for the occasion. Welwyn Garden City Cote restaurant is definitely 6 star. Jean Hughes

Very nice evening although the pork belly was over cooked however I asked for more sauce and it was much better.

Excellent 3 course meal at a very reasonable price. Particularly enjoyed the steak, the haddock goujons and the poulet grille. The apple tarts was Light and flaky. Delicious!

Good evening food very good a bit expensive if you have 3 courses and a side with main meal... then drinks and coffee. But would recommend.. also when I’ve been at lunchtimes they have a special menu much cheaper and good value.

A friendly welcome and service. A good choice on set meal menu and delicious food. Good value for money. One if our favourite Cote restaurants as it’s spacious and never becomes too noisy.

We usually go to Bishops Stortford but today tried W.g.c. Lovely food and drink - fabulous staff. We love the consistent high standards these restaurants offer.

Very good service and lovely welcome! We were there quite a long time and suddenly all the staff seemed to disappear!! I assume this was staff break time but it meant our meal stalled a bit!! Had to request dessert order! One staff member left to carry on. Appreciate the staff need breaks but the ones left on the floor need to be aware of the customers still eating!!

I thought the service was very good up until near the end of our meal, when our waiter disappeared, after delivering our sweet course and taking an order for a special tea, we never saw him again, after waiting about 15/20 mins. I asked another waiter has he gone home to which she replied he has been hear since 7am today and was now in the office doing paperwork, I then asked for the bill and when it came the special tea we had ordered but never got was on the bill, I explained this to the waitress and she removed it from the bill, so it was very nice up to a point, I probably would have had coffee and other drinks if we had been looked after

Lovely meal, great atmosphere for a Monday night, great service. My only negative was we were seated in a booth too small for 5 people. We should have asked to move but by the time the food came and we realised the area was a little too small we were settled and didn't move.

Staff attentive but not obtrusive. Food fresh and arrived promptly. Often visit this Branch of Cote, good value without pretension.

Always enjoy this restaurant, but had never visited on a Sunday morning before. Although it was a bit busier the food & service was as good as usual.
