So happy to see Cote reopened after lockdown. It was excellent as always.
Lovely day wonderful meal with my best friends, so glad you're back Cote
Lovely to have Cote back open again. Charming staff, great food, what is not to love.
Lovely to be able to dine at Côte again. Great food and service
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Service a bit slow tonight but to be expected as not opened for a long time. Steak a bit tough but enjoyed tomato salad. Will return soon!
Very well organised and great service. Good effort on the first day of opening.
First day of reopening and straight back to their usual high standard, great food, great staff and great service.
Unfortunately our dinning experience at Côte was let down by the amount of food that was not available on the menu on our visit. Which effected our choice.
Fantastic as ever. We are regular visitors. The restaurant accommodated my Dad's wheelchair needs so well and in a way that respected his dignity. Food brilliant. As was service.
Food was fine but the service was exceptional. Made a real effort for my partners birthday and the ambience was great. would reccomend above many "fancier" resteraunts
Great atmosphere, super food and wine. The staff are extremely friendly and professional.
Food good....staff excellent. Reccomend the new French 75 drink. Champagne/Gin& lemon. What's not to like !! The staff very helpful and attentive. Food a food standard as always.
The restaurant was extremley hot, we were seated against a wall in corner and the courses came so fast we were in and out after 3 courses and coffe in just one hour. This is not a realistic French experience! The food was ordinary at best, so overall a very poor experience and had the audacity to charge 12.5% service.
Nice atmosphere, good food and good service. Restaurant is quite noisy so difficult to hear each other sometimes. I felt main dishes should come with a proper serving of salad or vegetables rather than being charged £3.50 for green beans as a side! Creme caramel dessert was outstanding!
The service overall was great - friendly, professional and attentive. Our food was delicious and arrived quickly with the children’s food served first :-) It was a lovely sunny day and we sat outside - the atmosphere was fab!
As always, a good atmosphere and good food. Service was a little slower than usual but that didn’t matter too much.
Busy restaurant - very good menu - good choices for all the family. Pleasant staff, welcoming and choice of table available. All round a pleasant evening with the family
Lovely birthday lunch today for my husband. Great food. Blood orange cocktail was delicious. Friendly and efficient team. Spacious table and good atmosphere. We weren’t rushed even though it was busy. Thank you.
Good food and service. Noisy table slightly spoilt the meal.
Food and service excellent. We returned for breakfast next morning which was also superb. Made to feel welcome with some lovely gallic banter. Didn't catch any staff names but thanks to all. Brighton is our local Cote, you guys were just as good, which is a compliment I assure you!
Good value brunch and friendly staff. We have been coming to Cote since they opened in Tunbridge Wells. Have also visited Brighton, Chester, Sloane Square and London by the Thames and Barnes
I am a regular guest at Cote Brasserie. A friendly welcome always given. Great menu with special appreciation for gluten free needs. Good food +wine; excellent value too. A go-to place throughout the day.
Consistently reliable. You are always guaranteed good quality food and excellent service in Tunbridge Wells. Extensive menu offers something for everyone. We return again and again and are never disappointed. Heartily recommend.
I believe my party enjoyed their food. However, my starter order for moulds mariniere was sent back, being so shrivelled up, appalling. My cote de veau was over-cooked and dry. To cap it all, we were inconvenienced by having to use cash since, apparently, no electronic transactions could take place. It was just as well we could find the cash or what?
The food and service was excellent but a full restaurant made hearing any conversation almost impossible, I wish commercial designers would consider the acoustics and use more natural materials which can absorb some of the clutter and high volume.
Its mother’s day. My Mum specifically asked for hard yolk fried eggs as she can’t eat runny yolks as per medical advice. Breakfast came and the yolks were clearly runny. We asked again for hard yolks and they took her plate away but left my plate. My breakfast went cold whilst we waited for my Mums breakfast. The whole point of going out for brunch on Mother’s Day was to enjoy our brunch together. When Mums breakfast arrived we started eating and noticed one of the yolks on her plate was still runny. We pointed it out to the waitress who offered to get more eggs but we said No as our brunch experience was already ruined.
We like to eat here when visiting the area, which is only about once a year. A pity it's not more often! The tables are well laid out and not squeezed together like so many other places. The food is very good and has quite a range of different dishes. However, the real stars are the staff! They are ALL very polite, upbeat and friendly and really add to the enjoyable atmosphere and experience. We will return whenever we can!
A lovely meal. We were a party of 9. We all enjoyed our meals and would be happy to come again. Service was good, but we did a bit of a wait for the food to come!
Absolutely amazing food and service Can’t wait to return Complimentary wine was excellent Staff were great Fantastic variety on vegetarian menus Creme brûlée’s were amazing Always very good
My Eggs could have been warmer. Coffee could have come quicker.
We had early evening set menu as going to the theatre. Food was tasty, but took a long time to take our order. Would visit this restaurant again.
The quality of the food, the varitety of the menu and the attentiveness of the staff never ceases to amaze me. Each of our dishes were delicious A first class experience
Lovely friendly staff they even brought out my husbands pudding with a candle in as we had mentioned it was his birthday! Always have a good meal here and lots of choices for everyone.
food was most tastey and great, We go to Cote in St Albans and Harpenden alot, very good, However your staff at Tunbridge wells were not interactive and non friendly overall. Certain one were rude and mixed up the drinks orders, brought the food late, after 35 minutes. They also did not remember to bring drinks, I had to go to the bar to order. I am a very easy going person. They were very into their friendship and I was not impressed. Rather rude Romanian staff, and it was a chore to smile.. A poor Cote. I would like to recommend a member of staff, but I cannot. Nice patio, and the food was great. You need to look at staff training and service. We are unlikely to go back, sorry to have to say that. Best wishes Andy Snedden
It’s always a lovely experience at Cote, with excellent food and service. Tonight we met up with friends, last week we had a family birthday with young grandchildren. They were well looked after!
We had a great meal today. Delicious food, impeccable service and a rose for Mum as a parting gift (as Mothers Day). Well done Cote and thank you!
Great food, service and atmosphere. We have never failed to have a good meal here. It is a fantastic location for pre-theatre dinner we will definitely visit again.
Delicious food, as always, excellent service and great atmosphere. Went for a pre-theatre supper. 6.15 booking for a 8.00 curtain-up worked very well for three courses, but no coffee. Complimentary Kir Royale available in connection with the theatre tickets, which was a nice treat.
We had a lovely relaxed lunch in the sunshine today. The food was really good and service was perfectly pleasant. Great value for money. Why wouldn’t you go to Cotes.
Fantastic food and excellent, fast service. Went before a theatre show and we had eaten 2 courses within 40 minutes! Amazing speedy service.
Very good service and attention to our one member re gluten free Good food excellent all round and overall atmosphere perfect we had a thourghly nice evening
Jolly nice and Value for money with Friendly staff and good quality food. Would definitely recommend this and will go again for pre-theatre meal next Saturday. Thanks
Slow service and food not up to standard. Mussels were rubbery and tasteless. Asked three times for the card machine, waiting 25 minutes.
The service was spot on ,friendly & efficient. Food good value & tasty . Took advantage of the complimentary French 75 cocktail which was a welcome aperitif.
Great value menu at 13.50 for three lovely course - the boeuf en croute was excellent - as was the service. As always a lovely experience!
Great service and food. We will be back. Thank You.
Excellent meal as usual. Pleasant helpful staff. Cote never disappoints.
We had a really excellent meal. It was Mother’s Day so it was very busy. The service was great and the staff were working their socks off but still had time for us. The only criticism was the acoustics, which are very bad. We had 5 calamari and 5 fillet steaks. Delicious.
We had a 2 course set menu at £11.90 Plenty of choice. Attentive waiting staff. Would recommend. We had the £11.90 menu - delicious Chicken liver parfait with sourdough bread lightly battered whitebait two in our party had the chicken and really enjoyed it - i had a very tasty fish. excellent coffee.
Great setting, good food and service very enjoyable being able to sit outside on a warm February afternoon. Go to Côte TW you won’t be disappointed
