Lovely birthday lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed the specials lunch and had two free Kia Royales. The beetroot salad was delicious as a starter and the peach crumble was superb. We also had a glass each of the rose which is normally sold only by the bottle which was great. Thank you.

We were very pleased with the attentive service and excellent food. It made for a most enjoyable early evening dinner and the restaurant is convieniently situated in Tunbridge Wells.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. It was my father’s belated birthday party with friends and family there. We all had a great evening and all agreed that it is our favourite restaurant in town.

A lovely pre theatre meal. delicious food, reasonably priced. Would recommend this venue to friends. Great in the summer months as you can dine al fresco.

Poor service - waitress didn't listen to what was being ordered. Manager made an effort to put it right - but didn't expect this level of careless service. Shame as previously good experience at this restaurant t.

Quick service and food OK but very noisy environment indeed as busy. Couldnt have an easy conversation without raising our voices which isn't relaxing. Don't like the tip being included in the total on the bill. Is up to the punter to pay not the restaurant to include it as a matter of fact.

Although the meal was very nice, and one of the members enjoyed a complimentary glass of fizz for their birthday, the service was very slow. We arrived at 1:00pm and although it was lunchtime, and we appreciate it was a very busy period, we didn't get to leave til just before 2.30. Overall though, we were very happy with the food.

The duck was tasty enough, but had been kept under a heat lamp so looked tired. The sirloin was good, as was the veal but having to add 2 sides in order to make a complete meal made it expensive. The filling in the tarte citron was good but the pastry was poor.

I have been to cóte multiple times and it is usually very good. AS it was my parents first time at the restaurant I was hoping for the standard to be as good as usual. The food was lovely and the service was wonderful but unfortunately on this occasion they cut back on the quantity of food that is usally given. Still an enjoyable evening. Thank you

As always an excellent meal at very reasonable cost and enjoyed by the entire party of four. We always visit Cote prior to seeing a show in Tunbridge Wells and will continue to do so.

Really good. Very authentic and tasty French style food and amazing early evening price (pre theatre) The service was amazing! Thought it would be slow as everyone arrived at roughly the same time but they were 'on it' Very impressed!! Thank you all at Cote Brasserie.

Perfect for pre theatre meal. Excellent value and attentive service. We chose the three course pre theatre menu, which was great value. Portion sizes were just right, service was prompt but not rushed ( our meal was comfortably completed in one hour), choice was good.

We had a lovely meal, and the service was excellent. There were some issues surrounding the table next to us (which didn't directly involve us, but we tried to assist) and the staff were very apologetic. The only reason this isn't a 6 is that my partner didn't find his meat cooked to his liking.

We had a very enjoyable birthday lunch for my husband and was even given a Kir Royal. We particularly chose Cote as they now have a Vegetarian menu which means we have a choice. We still enjoy the set lunch menu's as there is always a veggie choice but as it was for a celebration it was nice to have a choice. The service was good and the staff are always pleasant and the manager is very nice and always remembers us.

Sunday lunch. Anniversary Menu was a bit too expensive for us as we can not manage to eat three courses! Had the Breton chicken instead, which is reliable if unexciting .Staff generally always good, not over-attentive. Our favourite place to eat in TW town centre.

Good food and service good. The only reason I didn't give it a 6 was because one of the sides (creamed spinach) came cold and had to be sent back.

Excellent staff and food...nicest lunch in RTW. I particularly enjoyed the cheese and desert wine post mains, fabulous wine. Great thing is the restaurant did not mind us taking 4 hrs for lunch! :)

Good service, great choice of food. Feel that £2.40 for 3 small slices of French breads is rather expensive. Clearly a popular place to dine as it was quite busy even on a Monday night. I would recommend this eatery for good cuisine at medium prices. Merlot was excellent by the way!

Very good food at reasonable prices served by very friendly staff. The 2-course early diner menu proves to be reliable quality & portions at excellent prices. As it is in a central location it is convenient and our regular haunt for get-togethers. Sorry to learn that 12 staff are due to leave shortly as they've been poached by a new restaurant opening in the town in November so hope Cotes are able to recruit replacements in time for our next visit planned for October! Thank you!

Main course was good but puddings were disappointing. Pavlova wasn't Pavlova but fruit and cream with a small piece of meringue on top. Tarte aux pomme was a piece of puff pastry with very little apple on top when I was expecting a nice slice of Tarte aux Pomme - something quite different like they do in Normandy. Wished we hadn't bothered with dessert.

We always find the food of a consistent good quality combined with friendly service. The only quibble would be the hard surfaces which make the environment noisy so conversation can be difficult when it is busy.

Great atmosphere and value in terms of food and wine. Cote is always reliable, The TW branch is not quite as good as the London branches as far as presentation of the food and attention to detail. The service was, however, excellent.

Good set menu with a variety of choice. In my opinion the vinegar did not enhance the golden beetroot. Pity the waiter didn't change my friend's saucer when he jogged the coffee by mistake. I had to ask for a paper napkin +clear it. Otherwise atmosphere pleasant +ambience was good.

Excellent food and good, prompt service. We had the pre 7pm menu and the food is such good value. The flavours are delicious and the portions a good size. The spinach salad with roquefort dressing was a fantastic starter. The seabass was cooked to perfection and the chocolate mousse to finish was smooth and intensely flavoured. It is brilliant to be able to order your food and have it arrive quickly; and then to have it cleared without any delay once you have finished. The waiters are unobtrusively attentive. Perfect!

We had a lovely lunch, our waiter was great, very attentive! We wanted Seabass and he said it was off! When we said which fish was being offered instead, he went to check then came back and said we could have it but pay extra for veg 😀 Naughty really but wasn't his fault. All our food was good! Service excellent as waiter had great personality.

A popular venue when we are going to a performance at Trinity Theatre. 5 of our party got served as requested - there was a confusion over the 6th guest which was tedious and resulted in her having to rush her main course. apart from that the usual high standard.

My wife and I had a fabulous meal that was both delicious and well presented. The service was great but at times a little slow towards the end of our meal. I do not agree with the automatic addition of a 12.5% tip to the bill as customers should be able to choose their own tip without having to opt out. Will still dine here again though!

A delicious late Sunday lunch before the matine at Trinity Theatre. I had a crepe which didn't come up to expectations and it was replaced by my choice of ice cream without further ado. We, all four enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed our meals

Really lovely! Great service- beautiful French Brasserie cuisine! we will definitely be visiting again. We found it fairly google value for the excellent quality of food. Four of us had 3 courses, a bottle of wine and coffee and tea to finish off for under £40 each.
