Côte Tunbridge Wells

Excellent food, as always, and great service. Asked for a table not right by the door and we were given one in the main body of the restaurant. Only problem was that it was right by the aircon unit and a bit chilly. Asked to be moved. Absolutely no quibble about this and we were given a lovely table by the window. A very enjoyable evening. Highly recommend Cote, and especially recommend the fishcakes, which were freshly made and full of salmon. Delicious! The Coupe Noire went down well and my friend loved her Creme Caramel.

Disappointed not to have received a complimentary kir royal as had mentioned it was my friend's birthday. Have celebrated with Cote a number of times before and have always received this in the past which is why we chose to celebrate with Cote. Otherwise we had a lovely time and food was delicious.

There was a slight mix-up with our order. My husband's starter came up with our main courses. That was then rectified but then the waiting gap for the main courses to re-appear seemed to be quite long. As was the the request for the sweet course. Wouldn't have worried too much normally but we were due at Trinity. Overall as usual very nice staff and delicious well priced food and drink.

Good service and reliable dishes, as usual. One of our favourites. The set price lunch menu of three courses for £12.95 is tremendous value for money.

Great breakfast, easy to book and seated quickly. Had run out of orange juice but apple juice was delicious. Staff all polite and will return.

Really lovely, lively restaurant,atmosphere always great. Service is excellent, staff attentive & friendly. Early evening menu is varied & very good value. Thank you again Tunbridge Wells.

Lovely meal just disappointing that they did not have the crab mayonnaise. Nice atmosphere and very good service. We are looking forward to going again.

We had to wait a long time to be served and the food was quite average for what we paid. Would not recommend that place.

Consistent quality food as usual. Cheerful and attentive service. Two of us. One chose from the vegetarian menu for a change and had an excellent Salad. The other a very tasty Duck Confit. Always impressed with Cote for its value. I dined recently in one in Londons West End and the standard was the same. You can comfortably spend 2 or 3 times the amount in some of the new over hyped restaurants springing up and leave wondering why you paid so much money. Not so at Cote.

Excellent except - Paper Napkins !!!!! I sincerely hope this is not a permanent change. They weren't even of good quality . . . .

Always happy with the service, the food, the whole experience. Now discovered I can book online! Will continue to each there with every confidence. Feel lucky to have a Cote in T. Wells.

Excellent service and lovely meal. Had Pork belly with cabbage and gratin dauphinois. Absolutely delicious. Friend had haddock and lentils. Love the light appetisers - good value.

We had a pre theatre meal which was served up with prompt friendly staff. The food was excellent tasty and of a very high standard. Would highly recommend Cote to anyone

As always, we had a wonderful meal at Cote Tunbridge Wells. The service is always fantastic and the food is just so good. It really is our favourite restaurant to go to on date night. You'll forget that Cote is a chain restaurant- it really is that amazing!

The food and service were good if a little bit slow. Cote is always good value and I had the fish stew which I love!

The staff were excellent very efficient. The food was good and arrived quickly. The 2 courses for £10. was a good offer. Will go back.

Fast and friendly service. Great value food with a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be booking again when we're next at the Assembly Room theatre.

Unfortunately I had a long hair in my main meal. Apart from that a nice table outside. Service was quick. A lovely atmosphere was had

We received a warm welcome - and they accommodated even though we were 45 mins early - food was good..... only criticism would be the service was a bit slow - I don't object to waiting a while between courses but we sat with our finished dirty main course plates for 20 mins!

Lovely meal we both had the fixed price menu so good value- slow service in parts - though overall enjoyable for us both would visit again

We regularly go to Cote Tunbridge Wells. You can always guarantee consistently great food and great service in a lovely setting. Also very convenient for a meal before going to the theatre across the road. A lovely night out.

We had a table of 5 booked, excellent food and atmosphere, we asked to sit outside even though our booking was inside and the staff happily accommodated us.

Service was slow and it was very noisy. The meal was nice and the waitress was very good at her job. I would visit again

Visited for pre theatre birthday treat. Lovely venue, great food and fabulous staff. I can't praise the staff enough as they made the occasion even more special. We will definitely come again. We regret not visiting sooner! Thank you.

Excellent food, excellent service, would 100% return and recommend to others. The waiter was efficient and helpful, the staff were outstanding. The food was delicious.

My grandchildren enjoyed their meal as much as we did and the family had a very happy birthday party for James my daughters eldest Regards Margaret

Another GREAT meal and service. Quick and prompt for a pre theatre dinner. Good menu choice and nice selection of wines. The waiter was polite and curteous

Glad we booked as restaurant was heaving.Food was good and reasonable although for the second time they tried to charge us for our free drink, good job we checked our bill.

Nice friendly staff but service too quick! Felt too rushed😕 meal was ok, fries were not hot and had to be returned and steak was a little overdone. No refund offered. Desserts were very nice. Ok for a quick supper but not for special occasions.

Service good, stayed quite a long time as I was catching up with a friend, this wasn't a problem as we had breakfast and then extra drinks. The only negative was that the floor around the table could have been cleaner, there was a chip and other debris from previous customers.

Food was generally ok without being great and overall it was expensive. Had the Cote du boeuf special which tasted good but was tough. Won't be rushing back.

Although extremely busy we were shown to our table and served promptly. Staff very pleasant and food good. Two items from the menu were not available but we were told about these as soon as we were given the menus.

Love to visit Cote. The menu is good, I have my favourites, but there's plenty to choose from, as well as the regularly changing specials menu. The ambience is lovely, buzzy, but not so noisy that you can't hear your friends, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, and should there be a problem, it's dealt with efficiently. A firm favourite with my husband and I, look forward to our next visit!

Very lovely food. The early evening set menu is such good value. Good atmosphere and only a stones throw from Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall. Perfect for pre show dining.

Very good set menu choices and very reasonable that's probably why they were continuously busy. Food was good, service efficient. An enjoyable experience all round.

The staff were as usual attentive and courteous. The three course menu for under £13 was exceptional value. We use this restaurant when going to the theatre in Tunbridge Wells and they always ensure that your meal has been served with sufficient time remaining to get the theatre on time

The food was delicious. Very rare for me not to add salt or pepper to a meal. Prawns to start and Seafood stew for main. Previously ate Boudin for starter and Duck salad for main. It's delicious every time.

An enjoyable evening meal with good service and good quality of food, up to the usual high standard. The speed of service was also of an acceptable rate.

Asked for a different table than the one that was offered due to my hearing problem and was allowed to choose which one suited me. Excellent service and the food was very good quality and expertly cooked, with plenty to eat without being a mountain which puts us off. Altogether a very nice experience with good service to get us out in time for the theatre.

Slick, efficient and polite service and good food, as ever. But why cannot I buy a LARGE glass of wine? Two of us missed out on 75cl and Cote lost extra revenue!

Excellent service, friendly staff, good food. The restaurant was very busy with pre-theatre meals but was very well organised. We will definitely be visiting again

The food was very good as is usually the case and the early evening menu is very good value. We go there very regularly and will be there again soon!!!
