Usual high standard. This branch as a good as all the other branches I have visited Would not hesitate in returning on a future occasion.

Great pre-theatre dinner for a hot summer evening - salad and green veg risotto with a glass of Sauvignon. Doors open onto terrace letting in the warm summer air.

Very nice meal and service. Staff were attentive and food arrive promptly. Good choice of menu, reasonably priced, just right for a summer evening meal .

Booking was easy to do online. My friend and I had a lovely meal. The staff were always attentive and polite; I would definitely return.

Unfortunately on this occasion the restaurant was busy so the whole experience was rushed, chips and peas sent back because cold and had been warmed up as we were not ready for our main course! However, the manager to his credit apologised and sorted it out. A shame as I have always enjoyed eating here.

Excellent food and wonderful service. All four of us had beautiful dinners and drinks, we loved the atmosphere and all the staff were really friendly.

Good service and value for money as usual and expected. The only slight downside was the acoutistics in the main restaurant meant that it was rather noisy.

Had a brilliant breakfast. We both had the cooked option and paid the extra £1 to include tea and juice. We even had all matching china which seems rare these days It was excellent value and came piping hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't even mind when we asked to change tables halfway through as the air conditioning was a bit chilly. Couldn't fault it and would definitely go back.

We book every Saturday night for dinner. Staff are all extremely friendly and we always have a nice greeting on arrival. Food is excellent in Tunbridge Wells - don't know about other restaurants in your chain.

Food good, service slow and we ordered a bottle of sparkling water and didn't get any glasses. Olives turned up late and the glass of red wine even later! It was busy on a Saturday lunchtime.

Great outdoor seating area. Excellent choice of tasty dishes offering very good value as always - both the June specials and on the set menu

Staff and service good. Food was below average. 3 plates were returned almost full. Staff were polite about this, but replacement meals were not offered.

We enjoyed our visit as usual, the service was good, the food was tasty, but the leeks in our fish pie were hard hence the low review.

A good choice of food and drink on the menu. Friendly and efficient staff. Quick service and good value for money. A very relaxing atmosphere.

6pm on Saturday 17th June. Had a choice of tables outside and inside. Chose outside, very good. The service was excellent. Chose mains and deserts. Marvellous food. Recommend the pork belly and the caramelised banana. Finished in good time to get to the Assembly Hall for the 7.30pm start. Showed my theatre tickets to the waiter and received 2 Kir Royales on the house. This was the first visit to any Cote. Very surprised.

Quality and value of the food was good. Initial service was patchy as drinks order had to be repeated and corrected three times (and we were only a small group).However this minor hiccup will not prevent us returning.

A replacement sirloin steak eventually arrived and was charred on the outside and not cooked inside (with no béarnaise sauce) and the chips were cold. My husband asked for strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream and received just strawberry and chocolate. We usually enjoy our meals at Cote but last night was extremely disappointing. We were not charged for the steak or ice cream or service but the bill was still incorrect because we were charged twice for my husband's veal escalope. We will not be going to Cote on a Monday any time soon!

Very good value pre 7.00pm menu. We enjoyed our meal and the pleasant ambiance. Service was highly efficient and friendly - a well oiled machine. We watched the Friday evening promenaders outside. Will go again next time we have an evening at the Trinity Theatre!

The service and atmosphere was lovely. The staff and their professionalism were amazing but we thought that the food was expensive given the menu options.

I go to cote all the time the staff and service was brilliant as all branches, however I had the rib eye and it was not good, I left it on the plate the only shame was the waitress did not ask if my meal was ok as it obvisoly was not as I would have eaten it otherwise after spending so much on my dinner!

Worst cote I've ever been to - total lack of service - forgot our starters, mains cold.. veg under cooked... a real shame as I am a big fan of cotes generally.

Fougasse cold when delivered to table. Steak overcooked when medium rare was requested. Table booked with 2 for 1 offer. this was not reflected in the first bill - corrected when pointed out.

Very tasty dishes well cooked & just the right amount of flavour. Washed down with blanc de black and very friendly service. We'll be back

Had a table reservation for 10, but had 9 guests, my mistake. We did have to get the waiters attention to ask for drinks as we had not been served. There was a delay with one meal but I thought this was handled very well, they did everything they could to correct this. Only criticism was service was a bit slow. But food was lovely.

Food and service were to their usual high standard. We had the 3 course lunch menu, which is extremely good value with a wide choice of dishes. Will definitely return!

Atmosphere was warm and friendly. The menu was hard to choose from as there was so much on there that I liked. The service was very good and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. A lovely evening. I shall be coming back.

Service was good, food was good although to be exceptional the sausage would need more flavour. Hot chocolate and crosaints were very good though. Overall really reliable as usual.

Not all items available on menu, Côte need to change their menu more regularly. Getting bored of the same things month in month out. Service great as always.

Fab service, great authentic French food and the only place in Tunbridge wells that serves a Cafe Creme coffee! Thoroughly recommend the calamari starter too

Visited for brunch. Good food and good value for money. Service was good and at no point were we pressured to leave. Good location and nice outdoor dining area.

Fast and friendly service. Great value food with a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be booking again when we're next at the Assembly Room theatre.

We regularly go to Cote Tunbridge Wells. You can always guarantee consistently great food and great service in a lovely setting. Also very convenient for a meal before going to the theatre across the road. A lovely night out.

Disappointed not to have received a complimentary kir royal as had mentioned it was my friend's birthday. Have celebrated with Cote a number of times before and have always received this in the past which is why we chose to celebrate with Cote. Otherwise we had a lovely time and food was delicious.

As always, we had a wonderful meal at Cote Tunbridge Wells. The service is always fantastic and the food is just so good. It really is our favourite restaurant to go to on date night. You'll forget that Cote is a chain restaurant- it really is that amazing!
