Côte Tunbridge Wells

Service was a bit haphazard. Waiting staff were not around when needed. Good food though. And don't forget the complimentary Kir Royale if you've got tickets for the Assembly Halls...

We ate from the set menu which was the usual excellent value. The food was well cooked and very tasty. Service was efficient and as pleasant as the high level of diners would allow. Always book Cote for pre-theatre meals.

Food, service and surroundings were all 'top notch'. We use Cote a lot in our home town of Reading and the TW experience was at least on a par with that.

Usual great food with a wide choice of food catering for most tastes. fairly priced and good quality. Food Service was a little mixed up and the drink service was slow this time but not had issues before and wii definitely be back.

Fine restaurant very helpful and efficient staff in a good location.The twelve and a half percent add on should be capped for large bills at say £10

Good food, as usual. Good service except upon requesting the bill, which had to be done twice which was unfortunate as I had a strict time schedule on this occasion.

Very nice meal in pleasant surroundings. Lovely menu with lots of choice for family lunch. Prompt and attentive service by very nice staff. Would recommend this restaurant?

Good as usual! The Viognier wine was extremely good and not too overpriced.

We were 7 people on a table for 6. By the time all our breakfasts, glasses, cups of coffee and side plates of (cold) toast had arrived, there was no room at all on the table. We asked for well done bacon and it came out the same as all the others and had to be returned. The staff are great and so is the food but a little thought about the amount of room needed for 7 people and all the plates that go with it, would have been appreciated.

Fantastic service and delicious food, it is great to know that there is consistency throughout the counties at different cote restaurants. Still able to get the same good food and great service.

Food was so lovely. The menu has a good choice and the staff were friendly giving us really good service. We would highly recommend. Book your table as the restaurant seemed to get very busy very quickly. Lovely atmosphere would highly recommend.

Friendly and efficient service. One of our party was gluten intolerant- their knowledge of the food was excellent and the server was so helpful. The food was great too!

Seven of us for Breakfast, very slow service, luke warm, items missing, poached eggs hard, replaced with same! One breakfast stone cold and sent back.

The restaurant was very nice and the staff pleasant. The food was also very good. They managed well despite being very busy because of a performance at the Theatre.

Excellent meal, nice staff, quick service. Great location for attending a show at the Assembly Hall Theatre. Good value for money although their Monday to Friday fixed price menu is even better!

Service superb; staff go the extra mile. My tuna steak was too underdone but my fault for not saying anything when I was asked how my meal was.

Good atmosphere. Not too bright! Lots of happy diners. Busy/full at 8.30 on a thursday evening. Staff friendly and helpful. Liked the specials menu. Reliably a good evening. Will definately return.

Nice buzzy atmosphere .. friendly service and really tasty food. Good all round experience in fact we always think Cote is a nice place to eat.

This is a lovely restaurant. The menu has a good range to choose from and the food was well prepared and delicious (the duck was excellent!). The staff were absolutely delightful...warm, welcoming, friendly and fun. I felt as if I was a "regular" despite this being our first visit. My wife and I will definitely be returning.

not sure you feedback system is functioning. this is the 3rd attempt! so this is very brief. A Sunday evening 5.30. had to wait 5 mins for welcome but this was the only negative aspect of the visit. All other aspects very positive. Suresh

Very good as usual. Attentive staff who ensured my gluten free food was taken care of. A lovely lunch enjoyed by our family. We will be back!

The food was pretty good, but the vegetables ordered with our main course did not arrive so we had to remind the waiting staff; they had clearly forgotten as the vegetables eventually arrived when we were half-way through the meal. After the meal I was initially presented with someone else's bill; I guess, if I were dishonest, I could have paid this bill and left as it was much less than our bill, but I told the waiting staff and they then presented me with the correct bill.

Excellent food and service. Great place to eat before a show at the Assembly Hall with free prosecco with your tickets. Good choice of items on the menu.

Very poor and disappointing, having been to other Cote B in the past, service was ok, but the food wasn't very good, could have been much better, the risotto needed more cooking, bread on my start was ok, but crust was hard. Too much beetroot on the other started, thinly sliced would have been better.

Good food reasonably priced and served with love. One of my favourite local restaurants which I would always be happy to recommend to friends and family.

This was a pre theatre experience and was excellent. The food was well prepared, well presented and well served. The wine list was satisfactory and good value. In short we'll be back!

Slick pre-theatre service and the usual good quality food. Just one minor quibble: two courses were advertised on my theatre ticket at £10.99, but I was charged £11.50, because "the price has gone up since you bought your ticket"; honouring the offer would have been gratious.

Went with friends before a show. Food was excellent I also used a reward/offer for free Kir Royal and starters when ordering from the al carte menu impressed that the offer covered all three of us. Started the evening well

We always enjoy going to Côte because the food is excellent and good value for money, particularly the set menu. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, ambience and lovely food. We will definitely return next time we are in Tunbridge Wells. Highly recommend Cote but advisable to book as it does get very busy.

Pre theatre. Though very busy, staff were very helpful and friendly so we could sit with friends and service was well timed. Goats cheese/roast veg salad was dull. Salade nicoise excellent. Good atmosphere. A real asset in that part of the town.

As always excellent service by dedicated staff. We had the October special menu, the Mushroom soup being particularly good. Friends who had not been before were most impressed.

Very please with my recent visit to Cotes, Tunbridge Wells, food and service was brilliant, Visited on Friday 13th October 2017 with a friend from work, I would highly recommend.

We breakfasted On Friday, very good for service and quality of food plus my partner ate free. Very good coffee and orange juice in fact a delightful start to the day. We would love to repeat it...

Five of us went to Cote , Tunbridge Wells before going to the Assembly Hall Theatre. They looked after us very well. Food good, service prompt, which is what you want for a pre-theatre meal.

Lunch at Cote, Tunbridge Wells. The lunchtime set menu remains excellent value and all the three courses we had today were spot on. Service was efficient and friendly. We have been regular lunchtime diners here in recent years and we have always found it to be very good value, with ample choices and we’ll cooked food.

The food was lovely and we were given a complimentary drink. Wha an excellent way to start the evening before a show just across the road !

We were very disappointed in the portion sizes.my husband ordered moules and frites and it arrived the size of a starter portion I ordered chicken which was lovely but minute portion f frites.

too busy, long waits, staff at each others throats as couldn't cope, food delicious and great value. I was on the way to the theatre so needed quick service, they kept telling me I could have complementary Kir Royals after telling them 3 times I don't drink alcohol. Listening skills zero.

The meal was lovely, delicious food and Gaby and all of the staff at Tunbridge Wells are wonderful - always make you feel so welcome.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The food was good and the staff were attentive without being intrusive, The ambience was relaxed and happy and we are looking forward to our next visit which is already booked.
