As ever, great food and service. The staff were attentive and the ambience in the restaurant is pleasant. The only downside is the cost of the beer which is £3.80 for a tiny bottle so it doesn’t take long to rack up quite a bill.

Had a lovely lunch at Cote. It was my daughters actual 18th Birthday, which i mentioned as we were seated and 2 complimentary drinks were sent to our table to celebrate her first legal drink! Don't get ideas's everybody, i've been in Cote many times and this doesn't happen all the time! A v.nice touch though.

Lovely food, friendly staff and the 2 course lunch is really good value. I took my mum to lunch there and we both loved it!

All good, but children's drinks are too big for little people; please offer small glasses for them. Orange juice has bits in, customers should be advised that this is the case as many children don't like the bits. Staff are great

This is the first time we have been into Cote for breakfast and it was very enjoyable. As we are vegetarian we went for the veggie breakfast and were really pleased with what we had. The veggie sausage was lovely, more like a homemade risolle, a lovely whole mushroom, spinach, half an avocado, tow poached eggs, grilled tomato all served with a nice slice of sourdough toast.

Lovely meal. Lovely service. Always treated like a valued regular and greeted with a smile. For a reliable experience, I will go back again and again.

Lovely food at a good price from the set menu. I had the pear and goats cheese to start and the pork with lentils for the main, both of which were excellent. The service was very good and the restaurant had a good ambience.

Excellent menu and very good waiter Mustapha. There were 8 of us and he was most attentive and ensured that we had a good overall experience

Welcoming staff and restaurant was warm. Food is based on a French brasserie except there is not as much garlic and olive oil. The sirloin steak was perfectly "medium" with crunchy fries.

Overall good although service a bit slow despite being only half full. Each dish was enjoyed apart from the risotto lacking seasoning and flavour. Mussels good as was fish stew.

There was no front of house, I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and finally led me to my table upstairs where my friend was already waiting for me.

Overall an enjoyable 3 course meal and the staff were lovely. We both enjoyed the black pudding starter,which was followed by the Breton fish stew for my friend which he said was excellent. I had the cassoulet and would have expected a bit more meat, plus the sausage was a frankfurter or polish type, when I would have expected the usual meaty Toulouse sausage? However, I still cleaned my plate. This is our second visit and we will be back again soon.

We always find our visits to Côte in Tunbridge Wells extremely enjoyable. This time we were a party of five. Everyone enjoyed their food, the atmosphere and most importantly the cost. This was my 4th visit in the last 2 months. We highly recommend Côte.

We all enjoyed a delicious meal in a lovely environment. Extensive menu. Very good house wine. A great buzz in the restaurant. Attentive and polite staff.

Popped in for quick meal before theatre. Not a lot of time, attentive staff, fast service and a fantastic time would love to go back and spend more time there.

Very good food, impressed with the waiting staff, who stayed cheerful and had time to banter with young children at nearby table, despite restaurant being packed. Only negatives - my salad was a little difficult to eat in a deep bowl, also our complimentary wine was added to the bill (but promptly removed). Very nice wine though!

Very good, very quick service ahead of a show with the added bonus of free kir royale and meal deal with show tickets. Highly recommend

Nice food, shit waiter....we would have liked to decided the amount on the tip. Not you telling us how much we should pay. We won’t go back.

A friendly welcome assures a great overall experience, the staff are attentive but not overwhelming. The food and the service is always good and reliable, never disappointing!

The restaurant was extremely busy as a couple of theatre events where scheduled nearby but the staff coped very well and we were served promptly.

Just love the food here, Interesting menu well cooked. Excellent value for money. Service always friendly and efficient . Can get a bit noisy at busy times so we tend to go for a late lunch or early dinner

Great decor, takes me back to time spent in France, good selection of dishes. Simple French fayre, but great taste. Only downside, restaurant was cold!

They were extremely busy. The waitress was fantastic in dealing with a large number of tables with efficiency and good grace. I did not think that the maitre D was fully in control of a difficult situation. As usual food was excellent.

Tuesday 7th November - not enough staff and therefore very slow service as busy restaurant. We would have ordered desserts but could not wait as we were going to the theatre. Food good as always.

Amazing! Friendly efficient service. My friends choice from the vegetarian menu met with approval and my mussels were delicious. Could not fault anything. Will return soon.

We went for an early supper before the theatre so benefited from the early meal deal. The service was very prompt in spite of the restaurant being very busy. Delicious food with an interesting menu and helpful and friendly staff. Perfect!

Food was Excellent. Would have been nice to have had French Staff but service was good. Not happy with the service charge being added to the bill..would have prefered to decide myself about tipping and would have anyway but thought it a bit rude to add it automatically

Each time we visit Cote Brasserie, we always get good service, good food and the staff are so efficient and friendly. We always look forward to going back to have a delicious meal. Well done.

Very enjoyable, food good, waitress very efficient and friendly, she was a delight. Onion soup and Roquefort salad very good, poulet grillé excellent, only criticism my husband’s steak was a little dry.

Service was much better than usual - new team efficient, friendly and very female. Much better than our last visit in this dept. Sadly lots of things are no longer on the menu - in fact it has decreased. Still, the food we had was tasty and well cooked/seasoned by someone who knows... One of the most reliable eating destinations in T'Wells with improved service. Just don't become boring!

Excellent menu choice and wines. Fair pricing and impeccable service. A pre theatre meal allow 90 mins and you will arrive at the theatre(s) just yards from Cote's front door relaxed and ready to enjoy your show !!

A good set menu and service was good in spite of being busy. Such a good location and a glass of kir was complementary as we were going to a show. Will be going again very soon.

As always excellent service and the two course and three course menus a very good price . And a well balance menu to select from.

Lovely clean restuarant. Atmosphere was lovely food was excellent service was excellent. I would highly recommend this bistro. Overall both myself and my partner had a perfect evening.

Excellent food, excellent, polite, professional service, an all round great venue with a true brasserie atmosphere.
