The meal was excellent but the initial service was a little slow. The staff were pleasant and the loos were nice. A pleasant visit today.

Wonderful Lunch. Just off perfection because the apple cumble was not hot enough. I recommend the duck pate, and remember that all the chicken is free range and not battery bred.

Excellent in every aspect, service food and wine cannot be beaten for price and the cleanliness of the toilets was excellent. I would recommend to everyone seeking a good value dining experieance.

Problem with the moules - shame as we have never had a bad meal here. However manager sorted it out so we’re very pleased. All ways busy in the Tunbridge Wells branch but staff coped well.

Good food and service, as ever. Great value for money, and this is borne out by full tables and buzzing atmosphere. Hard to beat in its category.

Wonderful lunch my husband loved the langoustine tails and hunters chicken. I had pate then breàded chicken. Wine perfectly chilled. Good service as always. Thanks Susan x

Service was a bit slow - probably because it was extremely busy and perhaps you need more staff. It was also very noisy in the restaurant. There was only one veggie choice on the early evening menu. It was alright but didn't contain much protein (which there should be in a main course.) The dessert was small and uninspiring. I'm not sure if I would visit again.

Was not offered the free glass of prosecco which we realised when we read the theatre ticket AFTER the meal! The food, service and value was excellent

From the moment I arrived the restaurant was very busy but staffing looked inadequate and those staff there seemed to be ignoring waiting customers whilst dangerously darting about with trays of food. Tables where not ready and then when finally seated no one seemed to be available to take orders. Bearing in mind that I had booked the table many weeks in advance and the fact that it was for a meal before theatre, after waiting too long for our meal I also had to ask where it was and how long it would be before we saw food, ending with a rushed meal, instead of a relaxed meal before the theatre. Very disappointing.

Always reliable, good quality 'French-style' food, at a very reasonable price, served efficiently by friendly staff, in nice surroundings. What's not to like? Make sure you book - it's usually busy!

Every visit to Cote Brasserie Tunbridge Wells is always so good. The staff are so welcoming and service is excellent, no hanging around waiting for food and not too fast that you think they want you out of the door. Food is always very very good. We love going there and again we have to say that Gabi is excellent.

We went for lunch today as a test to see if it was somewhere we wanted to book for our daughters 21st. It was! Had a lovely meal, good wines (of which we tasted quite a few!) and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

I was very disappointed to find that I had been charged £2.50 for an extra portion of mushroom sauce. On my last visit to Tunbridge Wells my chicken was a little dry (my favourite dish) and I asked if I could have a little more sauce which was freely given. Yesterday when I ordered the chicken I asked if I could have "plenty of sauce". I was not told i would have to pay an extra £2.50' That is mean and offputting.

Lovely family time. Busy, so service slow and they forgot the side of spinach. Burger great; chicken dry and steak ok. Waiter was good but didn’t see him for ages. I love Cote but it was slow and they shouldn’t forget any additional items. It arrived after we’d finished.

So after a poor first experience at Cotes Tunbridge Wells I was extremely surprised to receive an email offering us a meal voucher so we could give it another try. Which I must say I thought was great customer service and so tonight we returned. Was it any better not really, can’t fault the staff very friendly and professional, we both ordered pork belly, only thing missing was the pork! Nice bit of crackling but virtually no meat! So judging by other reviews I don’t know we have just been unfortunate to get 2 bad experiences or what but for the money charged we will not be returning, the food you do get is nice but portion size isn’t.

I went lunchtime. The food was very good but the service was a little too intensive and gave the feeling that we were wanted out for the next sitting unless we were still ordering. I am sure that was not the intention.

Booked an early evening meal at 5.45 pm in Cote Tunbridge Wells, a table for 4, the welcome by staff, was warm and friendly, the restaurant clean , tidy and the overall atmosphere welcoming. The food quality was excellent as were the portion sizes. The service was of a very high standard, efficient and friendly ( we had a special request, which was handled without fuss) . Overall a very pleasant experience, which no doubt we will experience again in the near future. Well done.

The food was terrible. My girlfriend couldn’t finish it because the fish wasn’t cooked properly and I found a bone in my fish pie as long as my little finger.
