Good service, good table, would have liked a sauce with my grilled chicken, it was a bit dry without anything

Food was amazing, our waitress was lovely. But front of house staff were a bit blunt and off. Overall we enjoyed it

I have eaten here before and to be honest the experience is as good as always. The staff are very friendly and we are seated very quickly on arrival. The food is second to none and is absolutely delicious. I would recommend to anyone who loves a good english breakfast.

Food and service excellent but the noise level was so high we couldn't easily hear ourselves talk. Hard surfaces (floor, walls and ceilings) didn't help.

Great lunch, excellent service but hard surfaces in the restaurant mean noise levels are very high making conversation difficult.

The go to restaurant when going to the theatre but allow plenty of time or else skip desert!

Slow and poor service. Restaurant not even half full. Table not set. Had to ask for napkins, then forks then more water. Waited so long for main course we had 15 mins to rush it down as we were due at theatre for 7.30pm performance. As soon as food arrived we asked for bill and that didn’t arrive either so had to walk to till to get this paid so that we could get to Theatre..

Lovely food, great service. The restaurant was very busy but noise levels were very loud, I had to shout across the table to my partner to be heard. Not sure if anything can be done about this with acoustics at all but all in all it was a lovely evening.

Quick trip like the rest of the clientele pre theatre. No wait food good and service pleasant. Just so busy and noisy but you can’t complain about that as we’re part of it. Glad I thought to book.

We were ready to order twice, but then we wanted to order and it took a bit of time to get the attention of the server. Understable though as we turned them down twice! They were overall very pleasant as always and accomodating to my pregnant friend which was lovely. Thank you - we are both fans and she is veggie and I asked for a menu for her and she was very happy indeed!

Fantastic food. The Breton Fish Stew was sublime and the Lamb Chops succulent. Even though the restaurant was very busy the service was really good and the staff friendly and efficient.

whilst the food and service as ever were very good, the table crammed in front of a glass door and fire extinguishers was not particularly comfortable . This was made more frustrating as I had booked in advance!

On this occasion I have to mark down. There was a group of 12 diners who were seated in the middle of the main restaurant. The group was noisy and got louder as the evening progressed. The kitchen was clearly stretched having to deliver 12 courses at the same time meant that other diners were waiting for some time before their food was served. My main course was tepid when it arrived, though my companions food was hot, which would indicate that my dish had been kept on the pass for a while before delivery to us. It appeared that there were fewer servers bringing food from the kitchen than usual. I regularly use this branch of Cote, so I hope that this was a one off bad day.

The staff have got to know us so we are always greeted with a welcome. The food was excellent and served quickly.

We go to Cote a lot and this was one of the first times ever my food wasn’t up to scratch. My whitebait was delicious but my cous cous main dish was v dry, the aubergines v v oily and all in all it was really disappointing

Sadly my friend, who is allergic to sugar, ordered a sugar-free tonic but was brought a normal one! I hope she is OK today as the reaction takes several hours to take effect. Restaurant was concerned but more attention must be taken in future. Otherwise all very good indeed.

excellent service and evening out on large table with friends

Great food, lovely service, a bit noisy as the restaurant got busy. Staff could not be more helpful. Well worth the visit. We will be back!!
