Good food as usual and lovely service just took a while to get attention to pay the bill!!
Cannot fault the food or service. Great welcome and atmosphere.
Fantastic food as always and great service. It's our family fav!
Wonderful ladies lunch, great atmosphere, food and waitstaff as ever
Excellent food and fast efficient service and lovely surroundings - will look forward to our next visit.
Made especially for by wonderful attentive service and the complimentary drinks
It was a wonderful dinner. The staff were great as well as treated us beautiful. We are very satisfied
Four of us had a delightful culinary experience prior to seeing a show at the Trinity Theatre next door. We chose from the a la carte menu with good bottles of white and red wine. We were greeted in a friendly and professional style by Kristina and served equally efficiently and warmly by Kacha, our server. We have often eaten here on a variety of pre-theatre menus and always had excellent service and a good choice of courses. The only draw back from the generally pleasant atmosphere is the level of noise, which is quite considerable, as the restaurant fills with clients. There is very little soft furnishing to absorb the sound. Perhaps Cote could try suspending soft wool "clouds" from the ceiling which we have encountered elsewhere.
Deliciously delightful - as always its a pleasure to eat there.
Good food with good service. Worth booking for a seat at the window
Excellent choice of food including two fixed price menus as well as ‘à la carte’, at very competitive prices. All served promptly but without feeling rushed.
Lovely setting for a lovely evening and would definitely recommend
Food was as good as always, apart from the fillet steak ordered was cold. Re cooked and a glass of wine to make up, for waiting was fine. Having booked especially for my daughters 21st birthday, it was a shame no one wished her happy birthday or put a candle on her dessert.
good food quality & value , plus friendly and helpful service
Lovely food and service on a Sunday evening. The roadworks (not active on Sunday) with screening, machines and blocked views do spoil things but this won’t last.
Always a pleasant experience and we like the new choice of two “special” menus
The females serving from Eastern Europe were very good, but the English male we had had a very sloppy attitude. We asked him for the mayonnaise and a toothpick. Neither item arrived until we had made our request several times. This was annoying and irritating, he obviously didn’t care or understand what service means!
It was a delicious meal. Everything was great but it was pretty noisy. Maybe smething could be done about the ecoustics...?
The tales for two are a little too small, perhaps making them a couple of inches bigger all round would help
Good service, good food - what's not to like - excellent.
Good food at reasonable prices served by friendly staff. Always reliable with a good choice of menus it is our favourite restaurant for a girls night out. As usual it was busy despite being a weekday evening so lots of other people obviously agree with us.
|An excellent evening, with first class service and very good food for the money.
Good food and excellent service. A bit noisy but that's unavoidable.
The staff were very good but there were too few of them. So eg hard to order drinks. This seems to be a problem at Cote recently
A celebration of two birthdays the food and service as always a joy , I visit Côte Tunbridge Wells often and every time its a lovely treat . Thank you 🙏
Staff and atmosphere excellent. Quality of food good BUT felt portion sizes a little mean. A starter of Moules consisted of only 9 shells. A much smaller helping than similar restaurants we've eaten at. The Lobster was very small and not much meat. Ok not expensive at £24.95 compared to many other places but not a satisfying meal.
Excellent meal and service, relaxing atmosphere , my friends and I enjoyed the experience.
An excellent birthday lunch enjoyed with family thank you for very good service and tasty food.
Food was delicious and tomato salad was generous and superb flavour with minute steak.
Set meal was fantastic value and very tasty, as usual. Wonderfully air conditioned which was very much appreciated on the hottest day of the year. Service friendly and efficient. What more could you want?
Cote Brassiere in Tunbridge Wells is a great place to eat. The staff is always very helpful and friendly and the food is delicious.
Excellent except for the noise, largely due to roadworks outside which were not your fault. But still a surprising amount of white noise inside from conversation etc. Is this simply echo effects and can it be reduced?
Fantastic place, one of the best Cote Brasserie I've been too. Loveky bright restaurant and great service. Food reliably good & reasonably priced. Steak cooked perfectly & recommend the calamari it's fabulous. Staff always friendly & accommodating. Let us order a dessert of the early evening menu, even though was no longer on offer as dessert wasn't available on main menu. Just lovely experience everytime.
L9vely meal for birthday great atmosphere waiting staff always superb nice treat
Meal was lovely and our waiter was good but considering we had booked ten days in advance, we we’re given a really rubbish table that you’d expect to be given if you had been a walk in. We asked to move in the end to a better table and then everything was great again.
Excellent meal as usual.Only one reproche.Their French fries are not golden enough or crisp enough. They look very anemic when presented. Its a shame. I have told them many times but they don’t seem to take any notice
We had an excellent meal with good service, but the noise level was rather high.
We particularly liked the complimentary St Germain cocktails to start a very pleasant meal Cote in Tunbridge Wells is working hard to minimise the terrible disruption caused by the extensive roadworks outside its premises
The unnecessary piped 'music' detracted from the experience. The noise of conversation would be adequate. Why not turn of the 'music' when the restaurant is full or nearly so?
Really friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price
Good food, excellent service and is one of our favourite restaurants o
We had a lovely evening as usual. Good food and good company.
The complimentary water was warm rather than cold (on a hot day) and my wife found the crusty bread too crusty, though it suited me. Otherwise it would have been full marks.
I’ve been to Cote hundreds of times but this was appalling. Sat at a dirty table and no one came to clean it or ask if they could help for 25 mins. Horrible food too - dry crumbly scrambled eggs and salty smoked salmon :(
My meal albeit second choice as they had run out of fillet steak for chateaubrien before 530pm was average my husband again 2nd choice went for the pork belly which was totally overcooked so by Cote standards we were very disappointed.
We visited at lunchtime with my elderly parents and although we all enjoyed the food, we did find it quite hard to hear each other speak due to the noise levels.
Lovely team at Tunbridge Wells last night and the food was superb. See you soon!!
Catered for a crowd of us with ease. Good advice beforehand and pre-ordered mains helped hugely. Food excellent as always.
This is an excellent restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed their food!
brilliant welcome , brilliant service, delicious food, atmosphere terrific . One of the best evenings we have had for a long time. Thank you Tunbridge Wells. Geoff Drew
