everything was really good but the level of noise difficult to deal with

We had a lovely meal here to celebrate a family birthday on 23rd December. All 3 courses were excellent , staff attentive and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We’ve eaten here many times before and will continue to do so. Highly recommended

My daughter Diana was settled comfortably in her wheelchair and she,her carer and I enjoyed an excellent Christmas meal. It was a special occasion for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

Lovely meal to celebrate my mums birthday. Food good quality and service was great. Pretty steady despitebit being very busy with large parties. Only slight criticism with the whole meal was slightly over burned top on one of the creme brûlée’s. For a party of 6 having 3 courses that’s pretty good going!

We booked for a ladies Christmas catch up dinner and it was such a lovely evening. I’m vegetarian and the options were delicious the cream brûlée was perfection 👌 The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to dining at Cote again soon .

Very helpfully allowed us to return after the concert at Trinity for dessert and coffee. That rounded off the evening perfectly Thank you.

My friend and I often choose Cotes because of the lovely atmosphere and yummy food. We both had the belly pork dish which is beyond delicious and such a treat . I followed mine with a crepe filled with caramelised bananas and chocolate sauce , my friend had the lemon tart . We both agreed on enjoying our choices . The only reason for 5 stars to 6 was the waiter was rather overbearing , so many times he revisited our table we could hardly take a bite as he was back asking if everything was ok . Twice visit while eating our meal would have been quite satisfactory.

I think it is time the moules are retired from the menu. The sauce was delicious as was the bacon, but most shells were empty but for s few minute molluscs . The rest of the meal & the service were excellent.

Very tasty food and excellent value, perfect pre-theatre for Trinity, especially with a little Kir Royale to kick off the evening. Lots of choice and menu changes regularly which is also nice.

We booked a table for 12 noon and it was very quiet. As old friends who don't meet all that often, we were able to have a peaceful conversation as well as a lovely meal. We'll do the same again.

Food delicious with a wide range of dishes. We’ve been before and always end up returning for a good reason - service is excellent and a dish for every taste. Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed.

great location for a quick lunch when you need a speedy turnaround

I went with two friends on a wet and blustery evening and we immediately offered some paper towels to dry ourselves off, which was a most welcome thought. Full marks there ! We enjoyed a selection of different meals from the December Prestige menu. I had the chargrilled salmon as my main course which was excellent, while my companions enjoyed their Breton chicken and pork tenderloin. I am a fairly regular visitor to Cote and I have to say that it has nearly always been excellent.

Excellent food and service and great value with the early evening menu

Venue was good service was good but some of the prices were way too expensive for the meal. For instance I ordered cauliflower soup. Very tasty but half a bowl for £5.95? And the accompanying bread was £2.50 extra! Bread usually comes with the soup not a separate order surely? Nice if someone could explain this to me Very definitely not value for money and will make all five of us think seriously about using Cote again. Shame.
