Lovely.meal. No fault with food. Didnt like being charged 12.5% service. I like to decide what I this is deserved! I ended up giving more as waitress didn't bring me change!
Food was great as always and service was superb on a very busy Mother's Day lunchtime. I actually complained about slow service a year or so ago so credit where it's due. Service was excellent and the restaurant was well staffed and very attentive Congratulations to all in Tunbridge Wells. Will be back for sure.
Lovely staff, a warm welcome, good service and great food!
Good value brunch and friendly staff. We have been coming to Cote since they opened in Tunbridge Wells. Have also visited Brighton, Chester, Sloane Square and London by the Thames and Barnes
I believe my party enjoyed their food. However, my starter order for moulds mariniere was sent back, being so shrivelled up, appalling. My cote de veau was over-cooked and dry. To cap it all, we were inconvenienced by having to use cash since, apparently, no electronic transactions could take place. It was just as well we could find the cash or what?
The food and service was excellent but a full restaurant made hearing any conversation almost impossible, I wish commercial designers would consider the acoustics and use more natural materials which can absorb some of the clutter and high volume.
We really enjoyed our visit. The two course early evening menu is exceptional value and excellent quality. Staff were friendly and hated working. Will go again
A lovely meal. We were a party of 9. We all enjoyed our meals and would be happy to come again. Service was good, but we did a bit of a wait for the food to come!
The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The poor waiter however had all upstairs and he tried his very best but he really had no time to be attentive. Not his fault as he was brilliant but this is why l have not given it 5 stars. The crème carmel to die for. The best restaurant in Tunbridge Wells. Sue
Great atmosphere, but a bit too loud if you want to hear others from across the table. The food was delish and there is a fab selection across the board. The service is always good with well trained and pleasant servers. I’ve eaten here at various time of the day so I’d highly recommend you try it for either breakfast, lunch or dinner with family or friends.
We booked for breakfast which was all done online that morning which work great. The food was great we all had full english, the staff were very friendly and helpful
Absolutely amazing food and service Can’t wait to return Complimentary wine was excellent Staff were great Fantastic variety on vegetarian menus Creme brûlée’s were amazing Always very good
Our pork belly was. Oh cooked on arrival. Two of us the. Had to wait 30 minutes for our meal when our party of six had finished their meal
Staff were friendly but not intrusive, food was plentiful and early bird menu good value. Thanks
We love Cote, but this time it was just ok... didn’t get offered the rhubarb martinis that were in the offer we booked for, they didn’t acknowledge the birthdays I noted on the booking at all, the staff were not very attentive or engaging, i would describe them as functional, not great at clearing... and then they put the ‘complimentary’ drinks on our bill so we had to ask for them to be removed... such s shame... it was half empty too, so in my opinion the service should have been outstanding!
My Eggs could have been warmer. Coffee could have come quicker.
I cant praise the Tunbridge Wells Cote enough. The ever changing menu always has lots to please and the food is always cooked perfectly. Staff are always really friendly
We had early evening set menu as going to the theatre. Food was tasty, but took a long time to take our order. Would visit this restaurant again.
food was most tastey and great, We go to Cote in St Albans and Harpenden alot, very good, However your staff at Tunbridge wells were not interactive and non friendly overall. Certain one were rude and mixed up the drinks orders, brought the food late, after 35 minutes. They also did not remember to bring drinks, I had to go to the bar to order. I am a very easy going person. They were very into their friendship and I was not impressed. Rather rude Romanian staff, and it was a chore to smile.. A poor Cote. I would like to recommend a member of staff, but I cannot. Nice patio, and the food was great. You need to look at staff training and service. We are unlikely to go back, sorry to have to say that. Best wishes Andy Snedden
We booked for Sunday 17th because we had an email from Cote informing us that the Valentine's menu was available until that day but when we ordered we were told that the Valentine's menu was not available We were a little disappointed but enjoyed the meal
Overall very good - just a tad noisy. Good food & good service.
Had the veal, bit tough and too rare. Bit unusual for veal, but was vert tasty. All other choices by my party was very good.
Excellent food and good service as always. Would always recommend.
A little disappointed. My chicken dish tasted divine however the chicken was woefully overcooked. In fairness as I didn't have time for a replacement my mainnwas taken off the bill. My dinner companion asked for just one course off a two course menu but was charged full price. Think that should have been made evident at the point of booking. Good atmosphere

A lovely meal from the Saturday Specials menu. Great for an early pre-theatre supper. A recent discovery in T Wellls and we will definitely return! Thank you.
Very nice meal as always in a lovely setting , very friendly staff Had a great night. Been to the restaurant a few times and will definitely go again.
As always, excellent food and fast, friendly, professional service. Great value too. Only quibbles - chips slightly undercooked and the acoustics
Great classic French food and service with a smile. Authentic bistro atmosphere all beautifully presented. Attentive waiters and nothing too much trouble. All three generations loved it and looking forward to our next visit. Great value for money too!
It’s always a lovely experience at Cote, with excellent food and service. Tonight we met up with friends, last week we had a family birthday with young grandchildren. They were well looked after!
Food amazing. Staff snatchy. taking menus and plates aggressively, and not attentive to us during our meal. The lady that seated us didnt looked happy to be working there.
The staff were amazingly helpful, attentive and polite. The food was delicious as ever and such good value! Great that there are monthly menu suggestions with accompanying drinks!
Good food, service and value. Tables a bit too close to each other.
Smashing service and fantastic food. We booked for my parents 50 th wedding anniversary and nothing was too much trouble. I dropped off a bag of decorations in the afternoon and they set up a lovely table for us and brought out complimentary fizz! The food was all amazing and they catered well for my young daughter too. We will definitely be back. Everything was delicious and very well priced too.
Excellent. Great food and service. They were very helpful when we needed to alter our reservation at late notice.
Always a pleasant experience! Reliable food and lovely glass of wine (for me)! LOVED the zucchini in batter starter. Restaurant quiet as 6pm booking on a Monday - so noise level not really relevant. Service good.

enjoyed the food and the staff very efficient and helpful however we thought the service charge added to the bill was very high and therefore made the meal however good very expensive
My guest and I really enjoyed our lunch at Cote Brasserie today, food was delicious, service is always good and there is a Pleasant ambience. My only comment is that It would be nice to have a little more space between the tables.
Lovely dinner and great service, good selection of wine and Blanc de Blanc sparkling is fab. Only down side was cold green beans and also slightly over cooked but these were replaced .
We had a great meal today. Delicious food, impeccable service and a rose for Mum as a parting gift (as Mothers Day). Well done Cote and thank you!
Great food, service and atmosphere. We have never failed to have a good meal here. It is a fantastic location for pre-theatre dinner we will definitely visit again.
We had a very good meal. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. It eas very busy at the start and I found it difficult to hear what my husband was saying, but as the evening progressed it emptied out a bit and at last we could talk comfortably.
Good food and wonderful attentive service. Atmosphere always great and staff very polite and good choices of menu. Food always arrives in good time and online booking works really well.
Starter was wrong and my main meal was cold. This is the 3rd time in a row we have had a bad meal and although the manageress always tries to sort things out we wont be going back. It was kind of her to waive the bill but I still ended up leaving for a 4 hour journey without eating.
As always (and we come here often) great food, great service, great ambience. Even when the restaurant is really busy, the staff are attentive, courteous and cheerful.
I requested a quiet table and got one upstairs by the window. The waitress was super cheerful and thoughtful. We thought the meal was delicious; the well done burger was a little charred but the Breton fish stew and garlic bread was in a league of its own and the creme caramel and lemon sorbet were heavenly. I’ve been here before and the Team are always really nice and the food is great.
Fantastic food and excellent, fast service. Went before a theatre show and we had eaten 2 courses within 40 minutes! Amazing speedy service.
The lunchtime 3 course menu for £13.50 is great quality and value and the welcome on arrival and waiting service is always warm and friendly. With hard floors and no soft furnishings, it can be a bit noisy but that also does create some atmosphere.
Lovely food and excellent and prompt service. Cote never fails. Fantastic value for money. Best service in all the Cotes we have visited. Many thanks.
Jolly nice and Value for money with Friendly staff and good quality food. Would definitely recommend this and will go again for pre-theatre meal next Saturday. Thanks
The service was spot on ,friendly & efficient. Food good value & tasty . Took advantage of the complimentary French 75 cocktail which was a welcome aperitif.
