Good food reasonably priced and fast service. Efficient and polite staff. We arrived slightly late but they were still able to get us out in time to see our show

Great breakfast 'Formula' gives you lots of choice at a great price, can't beat the Eggs Royal, fresh orange juice and English Breakfast tea. Staff helpful and friendly.

All OK The service was reasonable and quick, The seat was in a position that we requested on line when booking the reservation Food OK as usual.

We like Côte, very friendly, good menu choices. We often choose from the the Plats Rapids as we usually visit late after seeing a film or similar so want something quick. Good to have a restaurant that will serve after 10pm.

4 of us went for my mums birthday. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was good too. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Never had a bad meal here always excellent quality and great service. Had taken a friend this time who was gluten intolerant and they had an extensive menu that is gluten free

Still my favourite place in Tunbridge Wells Good food and always consistent.The service is professional and friendly and the prices are not silly. Would always recommend it.

We booked the restaurant for mid afternoon and whilst the place was quiet the service was excellent. We chose off the A la carte menu and both choices were delivered both hot and nicely presented.

As always the staff were attentive without fussing. The service was fast. The food is consistently good and well presented. Very enjoyable evening and great value for money.

We are regular diners at Cote Tunbridge Wells, delicious starter of langoustine tails, followed by steak fries. Chef kindly sliced my steak for me ( I've broken my wrist). Most impressed by our waiter who remembered that my husband has an apero of Ricard

Lovely atmosphere, very tasty food! A little hard to get the attention of the waiting staff as we were in a rush to get to the theatre in time, but a great evening overall!

Food was good but restaurant was crowded. Service was a bit slow and not to the usual standard but they were trying hard to cope.

Good service and food was of the high quality we have come to expect from Cote. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We thought the portion sizes have been reduced, especially extra vegetables and sweets.

Cotes, what a great restaurant. good selection of meal choices as usual. It was busy giving it a good atmosphere. We weren't rushed and the whole pace of the evening was pleasant giving us a chance to catch up with friends whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Staff were helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work.

We enjoyed our meal tonight, although the minute steak was a little chewy and thecservice towards the end of the meal (by which time we were pushed for time as we were going to the theatre,), was slow. But the choice of courses was excellent t as ever and the chocolate pots as always, to die for!.The standard overall was consistently good.

Good service. Not too attentive, just right balance of showing the staff cared without pestering. Food good, delivered in good time. Overall a good experience.

Lovely breakfast, sat outside in the sunshine. We both had the formula menu, which is great value as you can choose any cooked breakfast plus juice and hot brink for £9.95. I had the eggs royals which was delicious.

We enjoyed wonderfully delicious food, the service was friendly but not intrusive, the restaurant atmosphere was buzzing and overall we had a great time - thank you!

Occasional visits - all been good to very good. This time disappointing: Ordered starters - 2 x beetroot salad. After longer than expected wait one salad arrived which looked as though it had been standing for some time - lettuce was brown at the edges. We waited expecting to receive the second. After about 5 mins I asked a) when was the second one coming and b) was this one fresh? the waiter was very apologetic, took salad and said he would deal with it. As time passed we were on the verge of leaving to go elsewhere, but finally the two salads arrived. They were good. My wife ordered Steak Frites. Afterwards she expressed steak was chewy but hadn't wanted to make a fuss. The bill came and we had agreed not to give the 10% because of the initial service quality, but noticed they had deducted the cost of the two beetroot salads, so decided to go with the total revised bill.

We had a really good supper before going to the opera.we all found things on the menu we enjoyed and tried each other's food ,all lovely. A wonderful family night out.I Thank you.

Always excellent food, service and ambiance - we have been to the Cote many times and will continue to go back hopefully many more times.

I certainly do like the cuisine at Cote; it is, I think, the nearest thing you will get in England to true French cuisine. Delighted with tonight's choices (lamb chops done exactly as I requested and a crème brulee, partner had the fish parmentier and an Irish coffee.) The first table we were given was exceptionally noisy (this is possibly the only real fault with this restaurant and perhaps is more to do with the hard floors and high ceilings which echo noise than anything else) and were immediately found another, quieter table. Nothing too much trouble, polite staff and good service. A thoroughly enjoyable pre-theatre meal and can't wait for my next visit.

Excellent service ;unfortunately fish was overcooked which is unusual for Cote as the quality of their food is normally very good. The requested dessert was unavailable but the cappuccino was very nice.

Service was good. The starter of Roquefort cheese salad looked meager but tasted good as the cheese was in excellent condition. It was a small portion for the price charged. The Sea Bass was a surprisingly large portion and was excellent in flavour and cooked just right. The environment whilst buzzy was a bit noisy and the air conditioning was too cold, creating a draught. We look forward to next time.

The service was excellent and food arrived prompt but not rushed. Cote has always been a favourite restaurant but I'm beginning to find it not as good value as it used to be. But for the most part the quality is good except for the dessert we ordered. We ordered the praline pancake for dessert, the pancake had either been reheated in a microwave or been standing around on the hot plate for a while as it was inedible - so hard we couldn't cut it. But they deducted this off the bill without having to ask and did apologise. I've never been a fan of adding 12.5% to the bill, I would prefer the menu prices to reflect the cost to supply the meal and then if you feel you've had exceptional service a tip could be left.

Excellent menu, good value and good service if just a little slow. Would have liked side plate for bread. Booking service good and friendly staff.

The food from the early (pre theatre) menu was really good -interesting choices and very g.f friendly. Overall really good value and happy to recommend especially for gluten intolerant.

Pre theatre meal. Delicious French food that is consistently good. Very good service. We were served promptly without feeling rushed. Complimentary kirsh Royal drink a nice touch.

Excellent food and service plus reasonable prices. The ambience of the restaurant is quite pleasant, all around a pleasant experience for both me and my party, we come again.

The food was delicious. Crab mayonnaise was very good and also the chicken. The service was very good and waiters polite. My husbands steak was a little tough.

Cote Brasserie maintains a good standard of service with many familiar choices on a quite varied menu. The wines are well chosen and moderately priced

Charming staff. Martin, the Manager always makes sure we have our favourite table. All staff are very friendly and food is best in town and good value.

Great menu great value great atmosphere. Service prompt and appropriate. Food very tasty and could only manage 2 courses , not dessert. Would definitely return .

Always a pleasure to go to the Cote chain! We usually go to one of the London branches but Tunbridge Wells does not fail to please - the service was slightly on the slow side however, which is why it only got 4 out of 5!

Reserved table was available immediately on arrival. Met by waiter who was both pleasant and friendly. Service was efficient and speedy considering the time of the booking. Food excellent, the coffee tremendous.

Lovely food as usual and the staff were very attentive. Would recommend to anyone wishing to have a pre theatre meal or a nice meal after shopping.

The food was reasonably good. Service was good if a little slow, pity about the automatic service charge, I would have preferred to estimate the most appropriate figure myself without the need to complicate the process.

Everything was very good,food and service excellent. I only have one gripe, we had a bottle of wine with the meal and my wife's glass had a strong smell of cleaning fluid.the glass was changed straight away but we did lose one glass of wine from the bottle, not the end of the world but irritating.

Visited Cote Brasserie Tunbridge Wells yesterday to celebrate my sister's birthday. Staff are lovely, attentive and efficient. Got served quickly and had a good experience overall.

We have visited several times before but this evening it seemed exceptionally loud (noisy); however it was very busy, possibly even full. Food and service was as good as ever but a little disappointing that by 6.30pm you had run out of creme caramel. Will visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed a super pre-theatre dinner, food and service excellent. All four of us would definitely book again. It was certainly easy to book on line.

Visited Cote Tunbridge Wells again on Sunday at lunchtime. The service was ok and the food came up to its usual good standard! Our table was ready and pleasantly situated by the window. All in all, I would recommend this and will be going again.

Slight problem with my meal but rectified immediately and very well. Fantastic service. Great d atmosphere. Would return if ever in Tunbridge Wells. Lovely place.
