Promptly seated, table was clean and set. Breton fish stew was delicious. Lamb shanks too, but needed a little accompaniement. Drinks were fresh. Asked that we were served quickly and we were.we'll be back.

Very good service from charming and efficient staff. Excellent specials menu, also very well priced set menu. Food delicious. Pleasant atmosphere. Attractive outdoor seating for warm days.

The food was excellent and the service not bad although a bit slow. I would have given a higher score but for the ridiculous pricing of a 75 centilitre bottle of Badoit at £4.25. I can get a litre of it for 90p in the supermarket.

This was a first visit. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, good food, generous portions, especially the squid starter which we shared. Good service. Will definitely return.

Slightly disappointing pre theatre dinner tonight in Tunbridge Wells, service was slow and I had an upset stomach after the meal which I think was due to the grilled, butterflies chicken which was warm not hot

Excellent food, great value for money. Lovely atmosphere and well position for most amenities in the town. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this particular restaurant.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be returning. The only negative was that there was no disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Initially the service was a bit slow at peak lunch time but was quickly remedied. We at first were disappointed when we didn't get the table we reserved but were very happy with the alternative. The service was very good and helpful and the food was very good.

For those that depend on Gluten Free, it's great that there is fully approved Coeliac menu. It's nice to be able to enjoy 3 courses.

Food, wine and waiter were good. However poor table location near washing up area was disappointing.If we go again I would request not to sit in that area .

Have used the Tunbridge Wells restaurant many times. The staff now know me and they are always very friendly. The menu is changed regularly and offers an excellent choice.

We enjoyed excellent food and friendly, efficient service as usual. The only negative point was that the restaurant is very noisy, but that does not seriously detract from the positive points.

The food was good as usual at Cote but the service seemed confused. For both the main course and dessert they lost an order. They apologised and comped the delayed main but efficient service would have been better.

Absolutely gorgeous food; cooked to perfection and well presented. There was a good variety and perhaps the most extensive gluten free menu that I have ever seen. Very friendly service and we left completely satisfied. Will certainly be going back!

They charge us for chips. Even thou it was included in the price, not very welcome when we came in, didn't get a free bottle of wine with my order as I'm registered, very disappointed

Food was delicious. Restaurant was very busy when we visited. Took along time to be asked for drinks with other people that arrived after us being served first. This was a theme through out the meal having to keep asking for service-not very Relaxing! Tables were also very close to each other making it hard to hear each other with the big parties of tables surrounding us. Also a waiter opened the outside area for 2 guests 2 smoke. Not sure why they couldn't go out the front of the restaurant and this meant a big draught coming through the restaurant.

Excellent food from the competitively priced set lunch menu. Very friendly and efficient staff. Restaurant well located for shopping. Overall, an enjoyable experience. We will return!

Côte is always reliable - never had a bad meal there. Lunchtime specials could be a bit bigger - but it was very tasty. Had the frozen berries for pud today which were lovely but sauce was far too sweet and again not enough of it.

Attentive waiting staff and delicious food. Good value early lunch/supper menu and we found the a la carte dishes to be of a generous size and lots of choice. Good ambience too

Good buzz and service. Food is always good, particularly steak fritte, for me. It's a great place to meet in the middle of Tunbridge Wells for shopping or theatre. Early evening deals before a show between the two are ideal.

Took a while to be seated, so we were waiting with maybe five other tables by the door. However once we were shown to our seats, the food was delicious and the service attentive. Consistently good.

Friendly staff and happy atmosphere along with good food from a very varied menu. Great,too, for a pre theatre meal. Staff happily accommodate any special requirements.

Pre-film meal. Service was generally efficient, although bill a little slow. Food was good and came quickly, but seemed fresh. In and out in an hour which was what we wanted.

The staff were very helpful and quickly grabbed another chair for my friend who joined us for the meal. When we had finished our meal, the restaurant was quiet as I think most people went to the theatre. Despite this it took a while to get someone's attention to ask for the bill. But good service.

Never had a bad meal here always excellent quality and great service. Had taken a friend this time who was gluten intolerant and they had an extensive menu that is gluten free
