Eating at Cote Brasserie Tunbridge Wells is always a pleasure. Last evening we had a very good meal and we were given excellent friendly and welcoming service. Thank you.
The table was too small for 5 people and the food was ok but not amazing. Dinner is certainly not as good as breakfast at this restaurant.
Food very good as always, service after main was a little slow considering it wasn't very busy by that time. Overall it was a good meal out
Lovely meal, great service, buzzing atmosphere. Lovely Cote du Rhone with ribeye steaks (perfectly cooked). Waitress made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly without being too much!
IT ia unclear whether is red good or bad. Is red good or bad? is red good or bad? is red good or bad? is red good or bad?
The first steak had to be sent back as gristly and chewy. The second was lovely Other than that the service and food was great
Food and service great as always but no smoked salmon and only given brown and whole meal toast when we ordered brown and white but not told that they did not have white.
3 Course menu. Overall the food was nice and tasty, the chicken brest which was chargrilled which you could taste was good, however it was only warm and could have been hotter.
Nice atmosphere, busy but not over crowded. staff were attentive and friendly service. Breakfast delivered promptly and was nice. Good window seat. Would recommend a visit
We had a very nice meal at Côte, Tunbridge Wells. It was very busy and paying the bill took longer than it should have. The only real issue was that they sat us at a table next to the doors leading to the outside terrace where a handful of hardy customers (probably smokers) were sitting. The doors were constantly opened by waiting staff and not shut properly leaving us in a draft and having to regularly get up and shut the doors. We mentioned the problem to them and they said there was nowhere else we could sit. This did spoil our visit somewhat especially as everything else was fine.
Very good as usual, but any restaurant trading as 'French' should put free bread and water on the table without the customer having to ask.
Excellent as always. Perfect for dinner before seeing a show at The Assembly Halls. Food very good whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely as ever, but slow service! We always enjoy visiting the T-W restaurant but on this occasion they had too few waiting staff on duty.
You can always rely on the quality of the food and the service was excellent. We always go there if we are going to a show and delighted that we have time for 3 courses!
The service was good but the food dissapointing as it it did lack taste. We had the breaded chicken and the sea bream with flageolot beans
Excellent meal - as always. New booking system is not as good as the old one as you cannot make any special requests e.g. for a favourite table. Food and service, however, were fantastic.
Whilst the meal was of good value & tasty , the service was rather slow, otherwise I would score them higher. This will not stop me from returning tho
Good atmosphere as ever and good food. Service OK but staff seemed a bit pressed later in the evening. Good to see new things on the menu.
I love this restaurant and my only criticism is the noise.... you can't hear when sat next to large parties of people, such a shame.
Food very nice, quite a good choice, but have found recently the food is dished up Luke warm,. But will still go back, nice ambiance.
Great restaurant with friendly staff who allowed us to order something from the weekday menu at the weekend! The food was very good and I will be going again soon.
The food was excellent. Attentative service, especially with a 2 year old in tow. Recommend the crab starter. .....superb. The only downer was a warm glass for my beer. That was quickly rectified. Will be returning soon.
Easy to reserve on-line. A warm welcome in arrival at the restaurant. We received excellent and friendly service and our brunch was delicious and nicely presented. A great way to start a sunny Sunday.
Really great food and service at a reasonable price, would definitely recommend. I've always had a great experience at Cote, it's one of my favourite places to dine.
We visited at 6.30pm with a friend. We were greeted warmly and, as our table was not quite ready, we received a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was very welcome. After a few minutes we were seated and enjoyed excellent service and a delicious meal.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal; steak and frittes - do have the wild mushroom sauce with it! Desserts are to die for - especially the crepe with chocolate sauce, banana and cream - yum!
Very good experience, as usual. Staff are always pleasant and helpful and the fixed price menu is very good value. The free kir royales helped, of course!
The food and service were, as always, excellent but we were a bit miffed not to be told the swordfish was unavailable until we ordered. At this level I would expect to be told that when we were handed the menus.
We had a miserable experience due to the management allowing the next table to be allocated to 6 or 8 younge mothers complete with babes in arms, complete with baby prams, with several of the babies crying. The meal was as always was good to excellent and the complimentary glass of ker was a most generous and our party of 4 found the wine we had with the meal similarly good. I have to say that this was the first time in our dining experience with Cote that we encountered this situation but it did spoil a birthday celebration.
Decided to eat here as we where going to the theatre had a lovely meal food was good service very promt staff very nice will be returning
Really nice food, great service, it's always good here! We both had the chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Never had a bad meal or experience at Cote!
We had a lovely meal at Cote Tunbridge Wells last night. My steak was excellent and cooked beautifully for my taste. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive. We enjoyed my birthday treat of Kir when we arrived. I will recommend Cote to our friends.
Had a lovely evening & top food. I had pork belly that was amazing. Will definitely be going back. Definitely one of my favourite high street restaurants.
Lovely food. Great service . The staff were very friendly and service was very quick. All courses were excellent. We enjoyed our visit very much :)
Great food. And pleasant staff. All in all a good experience. I would definitely recommend both the booking website, Quandoo and the restaurant, Cote in Tunbridge wells.
Excellent food as always. Hadn't had breakfast here before but it was fantastic a bit pricey but worth every penny. Looking forward to my next visit.
We dined outside in the sunshine. Eat the breakfast which was delicious. Service prompt and efficient. Lovely experience which we will definitely repeat again in the near future.
Excellent service that was quick and efficient as this was pre-theatre dinner for 4 people. Food is the usual Cote high quality. Thoroughly recommended and good value for money
Good food as always and a nice selection on the set menu available, although service was a little slow this time and less attentive than normal.
Tables too close together. Every time the waitress served the table to our left her derrière rested or came close to our table. Toilets paper towels left down side of sink, so every one was soaking and pointless. Tables outside restaurant on the pavement were great for attracting people with nothing to do with the restaurant but fancied a rest and much needed smoke. With no ashtrays available dog ends were thrown on the floor. Had better experiences.
Excellent quality dishes at very reasonable prices with great service. All in all fantastic and better than any other similar chain in that price bracket.
Very busy & staff (particularly manageress) was harassed & grumpy. Told us no table available as we walked in door before we had a chance to say that we had reserved. Not a great way to encourage customers. Food good as always.
Unfortunately our first batch of toast was burnt . We then had to wait quite a while for some more even though the restaurant was not busy only to find that the bread had only been toasted on one side! Again we had to wait for another batch. Rather disappointing.
Slightly disappointing pre theatre dinner tonight in Tunbridge Wells, service was slow and I had an upset stomach after the meal which I think was due to the grilled, butterflies chicken which was warm not hot
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be returning. The only negative was that there was no disabled toilet on the ground floor.
A great meal offering good value and good service it will be on our list to return to again when next in Tunbridge Wells visiting friends and family.
Wonderful , hank you for making my birthday special and for such a lovely time , brilliant staff and lovely food , will visit again
Booking was very quick & easy. Food was well cooked, tasty and arrived in good time. Service was good and all requests were answered quickly and efficiently. Very good experience.
Modules were bad. Had to send them back. Service ok but we had to get that from the manager. Altogether not very good this time.
Good service and nice table upstairs. However the Steak which we ordered cooked medium was under cooked. They did not charge for this which was very much appreciated as they did not have to do this. We will definitely be eating there again.
