Lovely friendly restaurant with good service. Surprised us all with some complimentary drinks and a candle in the desert for my daughter's birthday. Most enjoyable evening.
Staff were excellent and could not have been better, managing to find us a quieter table upon request. Food was the usual high standard that you'd expect from Cote.
Food was wonderful. Service could have been a little faster and we had to question items on the bill even though we presented a voucher at the beginning. Overall a good experience though, and will probably come back again if we visit the theatre.
Food was great, waiting times could have been better. Had to wait 15 minutes to order a bottle of wine.
Good food and good service, as usual. Only disappointment was the mushroom brioche starter. The brioche was a slice, when it would have looked so much bettr if it had been a bun.
Very good the staff looked after us all extremely well. Only problem was that one of my guests experienced a delay in receiving his French fries i.e. they arrived about 3 minutes after he received his steak.
Always a great lunch. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Off to the theatre in London in January and going to try out the one in St Martins near Charing Cross station. Home the food and service is as good. Nice to see the menu has changed as well.
The usual great breakfast served by the friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Cote Brasserie never fails to meet the high standards they always set themselves.
Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent food from a very extensive and interesting menu all at very acceptable prices. We were not hurried in any way and were able to sit as long as we liked after our meal.
Everything was ok , food was good, all the staff were good and friendly. Unfortunately our drinks arrived after we'd finished our food and when you're having brunch that isn't great. They did give them to us on the house, but still!
We visit cote Tunbridge Wells every 1-2 months and the experience is always a pleasure. The food is consistently good and occasionally the odd small thing goes wrong but Cote staff always get it sorted out very quickly and are quick to adjust the bill or offer a free drink, despite that not be necessary. The staff at Tunbridge Wells are exceptional.
Food good but expensive as had to have xmmas menu service charge was added with no let out if you did not wish to pay. £48 for a light lunch with no wine was too expensive for two .
Fantastic food but waiter was slightly informal and slow at bringing drinks and sauces with our meal.
As always, really good food and attentive service. Our only niggle is that we had to ask for the regular lunch menu as we were only given the (more expensive) Christmas lunch menu.
Nice evening, good food and service but nothing out of the ordinary and as chain restaurants go, for the experience it is slightly over priced.
Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Staff listened and took seriously my friends dietary requirements, which are quite detailed. The food was fantastic - all arrived hot and very tasty. Can't fault Cote - always had a very pleasant meal there.
Helpful and friendly service from the waitress - kept us on time to get to the theatre in good time. The food and ambience were good.
Not very happy being put in the upstairs room with no atmosphere when there seemed to be space in the main restaurant. We were only a table of six and I booked it in November. Also not happy that the Lunch and Early Evening Menu was not available to us, our table was booked for 6.45pm and we were seated and ready to order by that time. The main restaurant was still not over busy when we left at 7.45pm Having said that the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful
As usual the food was great and the service swift and pleasant. At this very busy time before Xmas we were seated in the overflow area upstairs which we were unaware existed, but which was lovely. Cote is as good as ever.
Excellent food, service and value for money. Have been to many of their restaurants - the standard is always high. Would definitely recommend it for both couples and families.
The service is always very good and friendly. It was also very quick and efficient. The food is well prepared and the specials are very good especially the fish oltions
Lovely meal and great service. Great house red and delicious steak and chicken. Very friendly and efficient waitress. Cannot fault anything. Always consistently good value
We were seated as requested. Drinks were brought quickly whilst we chose our food. The food was, as usual excellent. The only reason I "deducted" a point from the core was that some of the waiters had a horrible habit of stretching across my face to place a dish rather than, as they should, walk a few feet behind my chair. I recommend that management spend a few minutes and teach their waiting staff how to serve at table. Otherwise a splendid meal enjoyed by us all.

Food, wine and waiters were very good. Small room up stairs was comfortable until two groups of diners arraived and then it became unbearably noisy.
Slow service. Forgot half our appetisers... no attention from staff until more started their shift at 5 but the restaurant wasn’t even full so no excuse for slow service... not checking if we needed more drinks etc. Good value for money though and the free kid royal with the theatre tickets are good! We will be back of course but not if the service issues continue.
Great food, the wine was delicious, the waitress ver friendly, and really liked the atmosphere had a free glass of proseccco, would definitely go back
Good service. Reasonable price. Every time we go the food is consistently good. The menu has something for everyone. Good central location in Tunbridge Wells
Good food, helpful and attentive staff. Wide range of choice on menu. Food cooked well and arrived to table prompt ly. Would visit again. Full marks
Booked for my birthday, good food as always. Feedback given on salad and this was sorted straight away by restaurant manager
There was a power cut at the restaurant. Unfortunate, but I was told by a phone call and kept informed, so we shall go back and enjoy a meal when the power is working properly.
This branch of Cote is very conveniently located in town and a good range of changing specials on the menu. Great value and good service.
Consistently very good, friendly efficient staff even when very busy and good value. I have visited lots of different Cote restaurants and have always had a very enjoyable experience.
Great food, great service, lovely ambience. We can never fault the food in cote and the staff in Tunbridge Wells are always friendly, helpful and attentive.
Four of us had dinner last night. Very good service. The waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. Delicious food all served at the same time in a warm, ambient atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and exceptionally friendly service. My guests particularly liked the crime caramel. A great family occasion was enjoyed by all. Many thanks for creating a warm atmosphere on a very cold day
My wife and I visit Cote, T. Wells regularly and the Minute Steaks are always excellent. Today, however, whilst being cooked perfectly, they were served not quite as hot as usual. My wife mentioned this, not as a complaint but just an observation. We were more than impressed when our waitress Anna advised us that the manager, Vicente, immediately discounted the cost of the minute steak. This is the way, to not only maintain custom, but to ensure this sort of service gets talked about with others - the best form of advertising. Well gone and thanks to Anna and Vicente

Cristina and Gabby are without doubt the greatest team in any restaurant in Tunbridge Wells. Saying that the whole team know what they are doing. The quality of service is matched by the great food. We have had a wonderful afternoon. Many thanks to all involved.
Food was great as usual, and as it was my birthday we were greeted with two glasses of bubbly, which was a nice touch. Only problem was that we chose a table near the door to the outside patio and during the meal a waiter decided to move a table outside and so opened the door. We were blasted with a freezing cold blast and never really got warm again. It was totally unnecessary. The door had a large gap and the wind was howling in. I would suggest that a curtain be installed on the door for the winter, like they have at the front door. Apart from that issue, the meal and the service was great.
The set lunch menu was fantastic value and the staff looked after us very well. The quality of all three courses was amazing and I would recommend Côte as a Tunbridge Wells destination for great food.
All in all, a very enjoyable experience. A friendly welcome, and efficient, attentive service. The courses were well spaced, ensuring an opportunity to enjoy each dish without then having to wait too long for the next one.
We travelled from Guildford to Tunbridge Wells to take our family out for lunch. Chose Cote as we always have a good meal for the family of various ages. Great!
Table was prebooked to ensure a seat, but when we arrived we were seated at one of the only empty tables which had been left vacant as the sun was completely shining in & obscuring our vision which was too much & nothing was done to help obscure this, very hard to have a conversation across our table as we couldn't see one another & as well as not being able to see it got uncomfortably hot!
Friendly efficient hard working staff. Good food but not amazing. You gets what you pays for - a reliable French bistro. Noisy in T Wells but not unpleasant. Busy as people use it after concerts etc.
We very much enjoyed our lunch. Our table was nicely positioned in a corner. It was a little noisy but not obtrusive. The food was well presented, hot and very tasty. We particularly liked the way each course was served simultaneously to us
An excellent restaurant well prepared food friendly staff Very popular at lunchtime so staff can be rather harassed We had the set menu which is very good value for money
Staff were extremely helpful in assisting my disabled wife and the overall service was exemplary. The food was delicious and great value for money. The meal fully met our expectations.
Booking on line is easy. Menu varied and interesting, prices good especially the set menus. Food today was disappointing, bread was dry, chicken was dry however .. salvaged by the chocolate mousse!
All great but thought the steak part of the steak frites was a bit chewy...... Service very good and welcoming and fab dessert (creme caramel)
The food was lovely and although we were warned that it would take a while to cook our choices, we did not have to wait too long.
Cote in Tunbridge Wells was unfortunately not at it's best. Staff seemed stressed, we had a long wait for our lunch, I went and collected our water glasses. Not sure if we will go back, we've regular diners since it opened!!
