Outstanding customer service. We arrived with vouchers for a free Kir Royale. The waitress noticed them before we had even presented them and arrived to take our order armed with a tray of drinks! A lovely touch. We had our first course which was delicious - Eggs Benedict and Mackerel Rillettes - and then my husband became unwell. (nothing to do with the food, which was perfect). We had to leave in a rush and our waitress, Gaby, was incredibly kind, offering to call an ambulance or a taxi. She even asked me to let her know how my husband was the next day. Just outstanding care and concern. We eat at Cote regularly and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Much too expensive now. Cost over £70 for two without wine! Used to be a reasonable night out but no longer is this the case

4 of us ate there last night. We only had an hour before the theatre so we’re very tight for time. The staff were very accommodating, making sure they took our order quickly. Despite the rush the food was very good and the service very attentive. Always have a good experience at this restaurant.

the person serving us was not very customer friendly , we had to ask for the water, when we requested more drinks it was if it was inconvenient .

Lovely restaurant, we arrived early and were offered a selection on where we would like to sit and the hostess was so friendly and helpful, a truly lovely experience, food was amazing!

Lovely food and excellent service. We had booked to go to the theatre and therefor had a special offer combined with Cote. It made a wonderful evening.

The meal was excellent unfortunately due to bad planning the upstairs was invaded by 26 people celebrating a 25th birthday party They initially had no where to sit so it was extremely loud and all the other customers ended up leaving Cotes, we’re extremely apologetic and refunded our bill.

Old was good but the Resturant was very drafty which spoilt the atmosphere slightly would benefit from hot air blower over the door apart from. That all’s fine

I booked online on arrival we were shown upstairs despite many tables still available downstairs. Our table for two was beside the coffee machine and waiters service area, it should never have been there we soon realised it totally squashed in. In fact looking around I thought most of the tables for two upstairs looked cramped . However five minutes after us anothr table for two were shown to a larger table for four. There was constant clatter noise and waiters standing around us,from the service area. It was a very cold night and I noticed everyone had 5heir coats squashed in aro7nd them, on the banquette seat there was no where to put it, waters ignored this, cer5ainly I saw no coats being taken or hung up. The meal itself: At least four dishes had run out on the menu, two mains two starters. We were advised of three not being available. The staff looked very rushed, and not happy, my food was ok, my husband said his chicken was dry, it looked it. Not happy with 12.5 service charge, which we felt was too much considering our experience. Doubt we shall return there are many other places to choose from.

Amazing food value and atmosphere. We always love cote and tonight was no exception! I love the minute steak!!! Would definitely recommend it to everyone

The service was excellent despite the restaurant being very full and busy. The waitress was very polite and pleasant even though it was only her second day. (she told us) The food was delicious.

Took a long time to bring the bill and a few items were out of stock but what we had was delicious!! Hadn’t stopped me wanting to go back

Great pre theatre dinner at a good price. Lots of interesting choices. Service good as usual. Free glass of kir on theatre menu always adds sparkle and starts evening off well.

Nice meal, good atmosphere and very attentive staff! Egg benedict was lovely but a bit disappointed that the sea bass and the fish stew were off the menu!

The food was very good. The bill with an added 12% service charge was a cheek. If I want to tip the waiting staff for their attentiveness then I will do so. As I was preparing to pay the bill by cash, I had included a tip, only to find A service charge. Does all the 12% go to the staff. If this is Cote's policy I will not bother returning, there are plenty of customer friendly restaurants in Tunbridge Wells

Staff always very welcoming and food, as always, value for money and tasty. The only downside is the noise when the restaurant is busy, very hard to have a conversation.

Côte is our favourite restaurant in all of Tunbridge Wells. Not only is the food delicious but the staff, managers Gabriella, Anna, Krista and waitress Isabelle are just unbeatable! Very good value in every way! X

First time we have been to this branch of Cote’s had delious meal and service was excellent could not fault it will return again soon.

Far too noisy. Had requested quiet table but quite the opposite.. Love your food but cannot cope with noise. Was at Sevenoaks yesterday when they turned downy sic which made it better. Please do away with music. Today I had book ed quiet table Five days ago but not available. There was a quiet tBle in the corner but s told it had en booked but I had also booked way ahead. No one turned up for the quiet table. The noise was deafening. I took out my hearing aids! I love your food but. Cannot cope with noise!!!

Consistently excellent food across the brand. Wait staff are attentive yet not over friendly. Lunch and dinner of equal standard and have recommended to several friends

Always love it here. Great food, wonderful service, not overly expensive. Had a £30 voucher to use to which made everything taste even better! :)

Excellent service, good food in a pleasant atmosphere and setting. Would have been top marks but my rump of lamb was rather chewy. Perhaps I will not ask for rare next time.

The food was very good with lots of gluten free options for a coeliac sufferer like myself. But what makes this restaurant chain a cut above the rest is the excellent service. Can't wait to go back!

As always there was a great atmosphere and the food was above average. The service was pretty good although we did have to wait for a while for our order to be taken, but this could have been because we took so long to decide and the waitress had to come back three times! Would not say it was particularly cheap but the three course set menu is pretty good value for money. Will certainly visit again.

Always a good experience, wonderful food and a particularly lovely house red. The food was slow to arrive this time, as it was very busy and the staff seemed rushed off their feet, but once it did we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The lamb special was particularly good. My only bugbear is that I receive offers from Cotes for free wine with our meal if I book through a particular link... but the restaurant never knows anything about it. The last time this happened I asked the staff and they were totally mystified. This time I booked through the offer link again and still the restaurant knew nothing about it but this time I didn't pursue it. Sort your offers out Cote!!!

Fabulous food and service, reasonable price what is not to like? Great evening, especially loved the pudding- tarte Tatin and vanilla ice cream yum yum!

A lovely meal here as always. The wine is really nice, the service is excellent. I struggled when I stopped eating meat though! Would recommend the crab mayo!

It was a very busy evening in the resaturant but the service and food were, as usual, excellent. We were going to the theatre and had no trouble in enjoying our meal without being under pressure of time.

A great evening was had by all. We were seated promptly. The servers were attentive. The food was amazing as always. The ambiance in the restaurant was buzzing. Will b back again & again.

Cotes Tunbridge Wells is a regular place for us to eat. Food is always the same quality, good price for good food. Staff very helpful and efficient. I have severe hearing problems and always request a table upstairs, and they also try to accommodate when possible .

The restaurant is large and in a nice central location. The staff were attentive and the food and wine with both of a good standard

First ever visit and delighted to have fpund such a place. Excellent food quality, service and atmosphere. Will be visiting again very soon and suspect this may well become a regular haunt.

Sadly did not feel our meal was as good as usual. My husband’s soup was cold (we did get it reheated), my crab mayonnaise starter was not as tasty as usual and the burgers my husband and children had were a little over cooked. Disappointed as Cote is usually reliably good.

I was so disappointed with the “Fish Stew” dry & a few Shrivelled shell fish . Very small portion. Similar to my partners boeuf borginon. I will call into explain. I did not want to spoil our evening by complaining yesterday. I hope to be offered some compensation.

Lovely service and food. Took my Mum for her first visit , she adored the whole experience, loved the buzz of the place and the food. She can’t wait to go again.

The food is always exceptional. The waiters very attentive and never have to wait long for anything. I particularly like the black aprons worn by the waiters, it looks really smart and make eating at Cote a bit more special.

Nice ambience, and good value but food was average and service extremely slow, meal half finished before bottle of wine arrived, certainly did not feel we were being looked after.

Very busy pre-theatre (as expected). Food and service very good. Door open for queuing customers not great on a chilly evening, but dealt with when advised to staff.

Once again great service with a smile. The restaurant was busy but nothing was too much trouble and staff were attentive and always on hand. The food was excellent quality and great taste. Would recommend.

The early bird menu is great. There was s nice buzz in the place tonight, busy but not too crowded. The staff are lovely. No complaints xx

Excellent service by attentive and friendly staff. Superb food. Seafood linguine was particularly packed with tasty morsels. Great atmosphere. We all benefited from the 2 course meal deal.

The food was gorgeous and the service was very good but sadly the ambiance of our romantic meal for two was ruined as we were seated next to a group of 4 very excitable and high pitched young women so we could barely even have a conversation with each other over the noise. We was very disappointed.
