Lovely and relaxing meal. Very tasty food and friendly service. Will definitely return soon. Nice addition to the restaurant scene in Tunbridge Wells. Great dinner experience.
Excellent and quick service. Could not fault the staff. They were attentive and extremely helpful. Food was delicious and came out quickly and prompt. Will definitively return.
We were greeted warmly and had a very pleasant early evening meal , the food quality was excellent as was the value. Our server was efficient as well as friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.
Enjoyed our complimentary Kir Royal & then chose from the pre theatre menu. The food was good & the service was polite & very fast, which was impressive as the restaurant was completely full upstairs & down, just what we needed before going on to the theatre.
Good food and service. Great value. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, will be back and recommend the restaurant. You need to book; it was very busy.
Great menu and service, lucky we booked as it was busy tonight! The early menu is good value, the Toulouse sausages and lentils were amazing :-)
SUNDAY EARLY EVENING - SERVICE QUITE GOOD LESS STAFF AS A SUNDAY NIGHT. MY FOOD QUITE GOOD HAD FISH PARMENTIER AND LACKED THE GRUYERE CHEESE FLAVOUR IT SHOULD HAVE HAD + MASHED POTATO NOT CREAMY RATHER WATERY. CREME CARAMEL AS ALWAYS SUPERB.
We enjoyed a very pleasant meal in a nice environment. the food was well cooked and the service was also good. However requiring 25 words in reply is excessive.
The food was good as always. Great service. I will be coming back at some point in the future. The fact I have to write 25 words here is the only down side
absolutely excellent. veal was out of this world with creamed spinach. Dessert and sweet wine excellent. good cafe. better than going to Paris Great staff too.
Great meal and very good service and very child friendly
Great food service very good, waiter and waitress very helpful. Atmosphere buzzing especially for a Monday night, Will definitely go again. Very impressed with the restaurants as we have tried the one at St Paul's and Peterborough
Restaurant very busy pre theatre but the staff managed to serve us and get us out in time - food was good although whitebait was already "off" the menu by 6.15 pm !
easily booked online, free glass of wine with theater offer, lovely meal, friendly staff, very busy restaurant, 2 mins from theater, fast service but slow giving us the bill!
Again, very enjoyable lunch with pleasant staff, window seats and good weather (for a change). Food was good particularly the soup and fish cakes. Will be back.

it was very good but spoiled by the unripe avocado pear in the chicken salad. That part of the meal was not charged for. Just a bit disappointing. Everything else was lovely
Enjoyed a brunch at Cote Tunbridge Wells. Both wife and I had the Eggs benedict and they were cooked to perfection with a lovely holandaise sauce. Staff friendly and attentive. Will be going back.
We enjoyed the experience as we always do, however I normally have the Steak Frites and this time I went for the hamburger..the chips were great and bun and the burger a good 8 ozs... however it just wasnt tasty, and really needed ketchup and mustard to make it appetising. In future I will go back to the Steak Frites. I always plum for the hamburger in other restaurants locally and always enjoy them, so being honest, I didnt enjoy the one I had a Cote nearly as much.... That will not put me off returning, just the hamburger option.
The Cote manager in Tunbridge Wells offered exemplary service. We took my 91 year old mother and the manager ensured that she had a comfortable seat in a quieter area of the restaurant and tried to meet her dietary requirements. I was very impressed by the service.
Great food and very child friendly and excellent service as ever
Great menu choice and excellent service even though very busy
Great service and menu choices. Lovely food and very well presented
Would thoroughly recommend a meal here. Great service and excellent food
Very good food and great menu choices from the specials menu. Excellent service
Fantastic family meal enjoyed by all . Lovely atmosphere and great food
Very enjoyable experience. My wife and I booked online. We arrived and had a 3 course meal each and bottle of wine. A varied and interesting menu meant there was much to choose from. Service was very good - maybe a bit too fast. Overall very good. We will def return.
The restaurant is Bright, and clean with friendly service. The food is good value and there is a fairly wide choice. The Disabled Toilet is on the ground floor (the others are up stairs) and tucked round by what seems to be the servery. Could be difficult for the wheelchair bound?

The food is good and consistent between visits. The service was quick and efficient. Quite noisy as always busy. Good central location in Tunbridge Wells
Very good food and excellent service as ever and very friendly
This was a very good quality meal and very friendly service
Excellent specials on the menu and very good quality food and service
It was good. Really hope other people go because I don’t want to see anything to go from Tunbridge Wells. Hope many people visit it.
Good service and reasonable price for 3 x 3 course meals and coffee- just over £60. Several dishes came with mustard style dressing which one person didn't like so that limited the choice a little.
Another successful visit for a party of six. The table was prepared and ready, and although some members of the party were held up on the journey there was no pressure to hurry up with our lunch. The food was exceptional and the waiters were excellent. I will certainly be visiting again in the near future. Well done Cote.
We keep coming back to Cote T. Wells because the service and quality of food is always reliably excellent. Wine list offers a good choice - Muscadet excellent value.

Excellent food. Loved the prawn gratinée - very tasty. Staff happy to provide bread when requested so we could make the most of the delicious sauce. Sword fish with ratatouille very well cooked. Cheese board - one between two perfectly adequate and waitress kindly produced extra cutlery without request.
Lovely food, lovely friendly staff, only point for improvement would be the tables are very close together so getting to know our neighbours was unavoidable.
Presentation of the food not as good as it used to be. Waited a long time for hot drinks and the toast was like dry bread and not toast.
Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend it. Staff a credit to the restaurant and food very good. A great night out. Thank you for the experience.
Pre theatre dinner served quickly and efficiently. We ordered off the specials menu- good value, tasty food. A good variety of choices. We also had two free glasses of kir royale as part of the theatre deal 😀
Whilst the restaurant was extremely busy, the food was up to its usual good standard and polite staff worked hard to ensure we all had a good time. Thank you.
As always, our meal was delicious. The service was perfect also. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is good. Thank you
We booked this restaurant a bit last minute as we had tickets for the theatre. The restaurant was full, probably lots of people with the same idea as us. The food was great the staff were attentive and very efficient, even though it was busy.
Food was excellent as usual. We had a problem with a contaminated glass of wine, but this was replaced and we weren't charged for this, which was a nice gesture. Overall had an enjoyable meal.
Friendly staff, excellent service, food arrived in good time and was delicious. They were also very aware of the need to get us served in time to get to the theatre, unlike some other nearby restaurants I could mention...but I won't! Well done Cote, we'll be back. Thank you.
Delicious food freshly cooked to order and delivered promptly , excellent service and attention was given and great atmosphere, sat upstairs which was very relaxed
Staff were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Food was delicious and being gluten free it was so nice having a menu with a variety of meals to choose from. Definitely recommend and intend on going back soon 😀
lovely manageress could not apologise enough for some rude drunk that kept marching in and out the door next to our table leaving it wide open. the food was very good the staff were brilliant and that was after my wife sent all our drinks flying .Will deffo come again
really superb food...french style. we return here often as there is not another venue that compares, for a fast lunchtime service. and reasonable prices... great
Service excellent as usual and food consistently good !! The place was full and buzzing love it 😊 looking forward to the better weather when we can sit outside but hope you might have umbrellas this year ? X
