Good food, friendly service & atmosphere. Very enjoyable lunchtime experience.

After initially being sat st an under table and ignored for 15 minutes things got better!! The waitress was great, well done salvaging a tricky situation! The ‘host’ could learn a lot from you😊

Our waiter today did not meet the usual Cote high standards. Eg My friend ordered soup but was not asked whether he wanted hot or cold. The food was as good as usual.

Couldn't fault anything; great pre-theatre supper, as usual. The selection on the set menu always good; the pork main course terrific, really tender, tasty meat.

Good food and drink, and delivered promptly (we were in a hurry so ordered the plats rapides - good idea for the menu). Busy, so obvious a lot of people like it!

Neither the food nor the service were as good as we are used to at your Lewes branch. A bit disappointed to be honest.

Lovely meal and service - I have never been disappointed to a visit to Cote and have visited a couple in London, Canterbury and Horsham

The restaurant was very busy . The table wasn’t ready . We waited a little while for our order , the drinks arrived and we had ordered 2 small glasses of wine and one medium, when they arrived they were the same size. When we questioned this they were taken away , topped up and explained that there are only 2 sizes of wine , effectively no medium glass . Which is fine but would have saved confusion if this had been explained . The waiter got the order wrong for one our group and unfortunately she waited for her meal and we had finished ours . The manager was excellent , couldn’t apologise enough and overall the experience was a good one .

Avery good experience as always. We were short on time and the early evening meal deal worked perfectly. Good quality food and good value for money.

Great service, friendly and attentive staff. Chateaubriand was delicious. Only comment is that the creme brulee was really too burnt, but our guest was too polite to make a fuss.

Nice a la Carte lunch. I find the lunch special menu a little disappointing lately which is a shame as I am a frequent visitor & it used to be a lot better. Staff friendly & professional as always.

We had a great relaxing breakfast, staff are always professional and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, hot well cooked and very tasty. Would do it again without a doubt.

We went for Sunday Breakfast - Staff were friendly and helpful and service was quick. impressed by their Gluten Free menu and the food arrived on the table with Gluten Free flags on the GF food - the food was delicious.

No vegan options. Was limited to fruit salad. Good staff, good atmosphere, pre booked on a Sunday so no wait. But food options were extremely limited and won't recommend.

We had the Weekend Lunch menu and one childrens' at Cote Tunbridge Wells. The food was very good and properly cooked - beef steak just pink and the chicken cooked through moist and tender. We had soft drinks so cannot comment on the wine. The service was prompt and polite. We thought it all good value and would recommend the Cote Brasserie to others.

As always, excellent food and service. The mussels were genuinely exceptional. And, as always, the acoustics are truly awful the noise level that kicks in around 6.45 when you start to get busy is not nice. All you need is an acoustic engineer and they'll fit the acoustic panels you desperately need. Then again, we're coming back next week...

Very good evening dinner with excellent attentive service at just the right pace and a high quality food and drinks choice. Reasonably priced and we availed ourselves of the free aperitif drinks for June through an online booking !!

The manager at the tunbridge wells branch was superb making our evening very special. The outdoor seating area is lovely .

Simply but perfectly cooked French food, served by really nice staff with a great eye for detail. Great way to start the weekend.

A great dinner before the theatre with great service from your staff, my chicken was a little over cooked but tasted great!

Good food, friendly service, but wait between courses and for the bill was a little long.

Food and service was excellent . Tables were too close together which made it quite noisy.

Overall we had a good meal, staff were attentive but not overly so. Food was very good. Only thing I'd criticise would be a bit of a long wait between starter and main, and then again waiting for the main to be cleared, by which time we had no time for dessert as we were attending the theatre. 2 courses in an hour & a half, when we would have had 3 courses (and then paid more) if we'd had the time, which was a shame. Will still go back though maybe not when in a rush to get somewhere else.

We love Cote, yet to have a bad meal and don’t expect we ever will. Service is fabulous
