We really enjoyed our visit to Cote, Teddington. The service was excellent and very friendly. The menu choice was good and varied and overall very good value. We have eaten at Cote a number of times and it never fails to please us. We had a very enjoyable evening.
Brilliant service, excellent food. Always consistently good. The premier menu gives a wide choice , something for everyones taste. Would highly recommend Cote to anyone wanting good value and good food.
I am a fan of Cotes, the main corses are usually good with seasonal specials. The starters more variable. Kir Royale is a good way to start and tarts au citron very good pudding. Main complaint was that it was too hurried... felt rushed on a Saturday night - allow us more time between each course from apperitiff, starter etc. Also Crab bisque no discernible crab taste, I don’t recommend it.
Had a lovely family meal, lots of time to chat and eat without feeling rushed or forgotten. Will definitely go again soon as possible for lunch or dinner x
We were a table for 7 and the service and quality of food was its usual best. Our party was made up of 4 Canadian visitors and they were extremely impressed. There was a mix up with one dinner and they were very apologetic and took off that meal and also a bottle of wine, which I found extremely generous. We dine there quite regularly and am never disappointed. Thank you.
Our chateaubriand was so tough it was inedible. It was taken off our bill but it was a great disappointment. We left hungry.
Friendly and helpful staff. Food delicious, but more salty than I would have preferred. Online booking easy but not sure there was communication between manager and waitresses that showed us to table as I got a call to ask where I was after seated.
It was chaotic last night as so busy but I thought the staff did brilliantly and it wasn’t a problem at all. In recognition of the fact we were seated later than our booked time your staff gave us bread and olives as an apology and that is exactly the way to treat people. Full marks to all your staff last night.
6 of us had an excellent breakfast. The food was of good quality, delicious, hot, and all arrived at the same time. I know this is how it should be, but it really doesn’t happen In other places a lot of the time.
I regularly go to Cotes for lunch with friends. The food is always excellent, and normally so is the service. Today was the first time ever that there was a very long wait for the food, and the staff when I tried to get them to take our orders, did not seem to even address the matter then. Although when paying the waitress did apologise, it was only after I mentioned it, when an apology would have been appreciated at an earlier stage.

Very good food. Service slow to start but good after
Regulars here.Authentic French food and atmosphere. Thanks for delicious Easter extra of Chocolate Mousse. Tomato Salad side makes an excellent light starter.Highly recommended, though tables for two are somewhat small and if is not busy sit at a table for four.
Staff very friendly made my mums birthday very special Food and service was very good will definitely come back for again Thanks again for a great night
Upon booking the table we specifically asked there to be a highchair, when we arrived there wasn’t one! 15minutes into us sitting down my husband had to get one himself. There were lots of staff present but not taking any notice of our table, we had to ask to order drinks, then when our guests arrived again had to ask to order drinks & order... the service was very poor & the food was disappointing from previous meals we have had there before; over cooked eggs, & sausages. Usually I would send food back but I didn’t want to wait as we had 3 children with us & the service was already too slow.
Amazing food and the staff were more than helpful! All our requests were dealt with immediately - it is the perfect place to have a celebratory birthday brunch!
Lovely food nice atmosphere and very nice staff Will definitely return.
Veery attentive service, we appreciated the waitress replenishing the water promptly without having to be asked. Delicious food, only one complaint the duck, which should have been served pink, was a little overcooked. Dessert, which was the assiete gourmande was a lovely way to finish the meal.
The meal was fine; and the steak frites particularly good. The mains took a while to arrive after the starters and the waiter forgot a side portion of beans that eventually arrived almost as we had finished our mains
All very good except the table we were initially allocated. I had booked online asking for a table for 4 adults and 2 high chairs for young children . When we have visited this branch before this was set up ready. Today no high chairs ready and we were shown to an unsuitable table with banquette seating on both sides abd not enough room at the end for high chairs. The restaurant was not busy so we were able to go elsewhere. Disappointing as we had booked in advance.
Staff friendly and efficient.my complimentary drinks were lovely. My meal fresh and gorgeous . Great experience. I would definitely recommend Cote for lunch or breakfast. Very good all round service.
We arrived and were met cordially by staff. The waiter took our order. We ordered from the A la carte menu but were told that we could only order from the St Valentine's menu ( a 3 course set meal) . When I booked the table on the Cote website, there was NO indication that only the St Valentine's menu was available, and indeed there was no indication of this on the board on the street outside the restaurant. The waiter called the manager. She reiterated that we must order from the St V's set menu, No one in our party wanted to have 3 courses, two courses would have been fine for us and anyway, as stated earlier, we wanted to order from the A la carte menu. The manager insisted that we could only order the set menu. After much discussion the manager said she would speak to the chef. We reached a compromise, but it was hardly satisfactory as we still had to choose dishes from the set menu. If Cote had made it absolutely clear on the website that only the St Valentine's set menu was available, I would not have made the booking.
We had a lovely meal and experience, it was a very busy afternoon on Monthers but the staff coped really well and were well looked after. The food on the set menu was delicious and very good value for money.
Would have given a 5 but service initially a bit slow; confusion over the table I had booked; dimmer switch on lights broken so bulb was very, very bright and made eyes water, member of staff had to remove the bulb from holder to rectify and enable us to be able to remain at the table. Waitress was brilliant - young girl, studying at college - very nice, extremely knowledgeable and handled situation impeccably. Pork skin was a bit soft and needed more cooking to crisp up - had it before and tends to be hit and miss, sometimes great and other times mediocre
As a family, we love going to COTE, the staff are always friendly, delicious food and great atmosphere. It was a great way to spend Mother's Day with the whole family.
Enjoyed tonight. Staff were exceptional we all had a good laugh and a good time The food was good, service was good, waiting time was fine just an enjoyable evening.....
Great service and very organised ! Guests complimented on choice of venue.
Thoroughly enjoyable as always with great service and lovely polite and friendly staff. Food was really great. But to just be a little picky. The soda water comes in tiny bottles. The seabass could have done with being a little more crispy and the fennel was cooked in a way that took away the final flavour. But as said that is being very picky
Had a lovely lunch with my friend after she returned from travelling. A great place for a good catch up over nice food and wine. I usually come in in the week for early dinners so was expecting it to be a bit manic on a Saturday but it was lovely!
Service slow, waited too long in between food and drink order, started cold eventually changed but took a while to come back others had finished their starter, no info about menu, tables not cleared after people had left. Eat here a lot with friends, won't be back.
The menu is varied and has plenty of options. Good to see there are also some specials. Enjoyed the evening with family and would definitely visit again. The only complaint was the rose wine was not cold and had to be changed
Absolutely fantastic service and we were surprised with birthday Kir Royals.. My friend had a birthday to remember! We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much!
Great Service. I will definitely come back. They charge a 12.5% service charge. I'd rather decide what I tip. However, on this occasion I gave an extra £20, because all though I picked up the bill, I thought they helped make the evening better & looked like they enjoyed it!
We were initially given the wrong main course after confusion between the lamb special and that on the main menu. This was rectified swiftly and with profuse apologies from the manager. When the correct food arrived it was absolutely delicious and did not detract from the overall experience.
A typically consistent evening at Cote in Teddington. Food is good and service as always very friendly and efficient. I will be happy to visit again without hesitation.
The food was excellent and the young female waitress was engaging and a pleasure to deal with. I had never been to a Côte but I was really impressed and the the set menu was very good value
You NEED to advertise that you have a vegan/vegetarian menu and shout this from the rooftops. I have been coming to cote on and off for years and could only ever have the crepes which I would say in the last few years has got really boring so we almost stopped coming until I saw the veggie menu. I have to say though it is a good start it needs to be more punchy and interesting. I could give you a few pointers if you are interested.
The food was very good, the ambiance pleasant, and the staff attentive and friendly. I shall definitely go there again!
Good all round experience with nice food and professional staff in pleasant surrounding. (Nothing else to say and only writing more because of 25 words required. Score would have been 6 star but for this silly requirement)
Great deal with free wine -thanks! The calamari wasn’t as good as I’ve had at Cote before. The chicken walnut salad and lamb shank special were delish though. Service attentive but not intrusive
This is so upsetting. I have always loved the Teddington Cote. Sadly this is the second time I’ve had a meal which was not up to the usual high standard. The staff were wonderful and the manager took a chunk off our bill. I have no complaints in this respect but the chicken was undercooked and tough and my Breton chicken which I have had before, was also undercooked and unseasoned. I hope this is not the standard we can expect from now on! Twice in a row! I will give it one more try before I give up.
Lovely meal and a thoroughly enjoyable evening, my request to change from fennel and potato purée to dauphinois was no problem.
Lovely meal ! All food was great and the service as usual 1st class . We were made to feel very welcome. Certainly be back soon. Ps Complimentary bottle of wine was the icing on the cake!
Very pleasant evening. Friendly staff and reasonably priced menu.
had a great breakfast!! Staff very good and attentive as usual
Although the restaurant was quiet we still enjoyed the ambience and the attentiveness of the staff. We understood why customers were staying away but this did not prevent the staff form being cheerful and doing their best to ensure we had an enjoyable lunch.
Lovely, fabulous team and management...if anything isn’t right, just let them know and they’ll try to put it right...massage the messenger, the King just wants positive results!
Our visit at Teddington was great. The food was very good and lso the service.
Good food and good efficient staff and going again tomorrow for breakfast
In the current circumstances we had a pleasant evening. The restaurant was unusually quiet. The food was good.
A good meal as I would expect from a favourite restaurant.
