My family and I had a very enjoyable lunch, it was a birthday celebration for my mother and she really enjoyed it. We have been here before & it has always been good. We particularly like the Ambience, the decor & style is chic and relaxing. The food has always been tasty with a good choice and service is quick & efficient. I would give six stars but parking is always difficult although I appreciate this is not within your control.
We took our 11 year old granddaughter to Côte, Teddington last Saturday. She is coeliac and we were not sure what sort of choice she would have. We were delighted that they had a gluten free menu, which gave her a wide choice. Each of her dishes, she had 3 courses, came with a ‘gluten free’ flag, and she pronounced them all delicious. All the staff were attentive and charming. Thank you.
Hi there - both our breakfasts were cold so we sent them back and your helpful staff cooked it all again fresh and hot - these things happen, it was delicious (when hot). cheers
Fabulous food, always cooked to high standards and great service as always and costs are always good too 😊👍 love coming to Cote for all our family get togethers 😁
Thank you for a lovely evening. We were well looked after by your friendly staff and the food was great. Loved our complimentary Gin cocktails! Perfect for a group birthday celebration.

Excellent food, starters and mains were well-cooked and presented. Attentive waiting staff. Always good value for money. We use it regularly and would recommend. Breakfasts are well worth a try!
We were initially given the wrong main course after confusion between the lamb special and that on the main menu. This was rectified swiftly and with profuse apologies from the manager. When the correct food arrived it was absolutely delicious and did not detract from the overall experience.
You NEED to advertise that you have a vegan/vegetarian menu and shout this from the rooftops. I have been coming to cote on and off for years and could only ever have the crepes which I would say in the last few years has got really boring so we almost stopped coming until I saw the veggie menu. I have to say though it is a good start it needs to be more punchy and interesting. I could give you a few pointers if you are interested.
Had a lovely family meal, lots of time to chat and eat without feeling rushed or forgotten. Will definitely go again soon as possible for lunch or dinner x
Our chateaubriand was so tough it was inedible. It was taken off our bill but it was a great disappointment. We left hungry.
It was chaotic last night as so busy but I thought the staff did brilliantly and it wasn’t a problem at all. In recognition of the fact we were seated later than our booked time your staff gave us bread and olives as an apology and that is exactly the way to treat people. Full marks to all your staff last night.
We are always impressed by the standard of service and quality of food at Cote and we were not disappointed on this visit. The staff in Teddington are particularly good and always make us very welcome.
Steak was asked for medium but came rare There was no children’s deserts And service is was slow despite being very quiet Found it was expensive Standards seem to be dropping
Friendly service and the food was fantastic, very much recommended.
The food was good and flavoursome but the service was ridiculously slow. We sat down at 7pm and were begging for someone to come so that we could pay the bill gone 10pm... It didn't help that drinks waiter accidentally emptied a tray of drinks down one of our party's back. Sticky clothes and glass and embarrassment everywhere. We had a free round of drinks on the house in compensation but the front of house let the kitchens down the evening we visited. Shame. I wouldn't recommend until I knew for sure the service would be better.
Had a really nice brunch with friends - food as always very very tasty! Staff very attentive - what a great way to spend a Sunday
We had a very pleasant evening and meal in Cote ,Teddington. Staff were pleasant, cheerful and efficient. I had the Breton chicken which was succulent, tasty and perfectly cooked. Two people in the party had Sea Bass and were very pleased with it. All in all a great evening
Excellent food and a busy and lively dinner experience. The set menu (premium) was very good value. A good drinks menu with lots of choice. The blood orange martini was delicious
Great atmosphere and very good service, had a complimentary hot chocolate today due to delay in service.... not due to complaint.... just because staff realised they had got behind! Thanks
We ordered warm bread with our starters and the waiter forgot to bring it. So it was removed from the bill as by then we had our main meal.
Over priced and the meal was pretty salty and greasy. The burger was too heavy with the brioche bun... Staff and building were pleasant.
Food was very tasty . Service was good and nothing was too much trouble . Definitely recommend and would visit more often if we lived closer
Amazing food and service. We went for dinner for my husband’s 50th birthday and the staff were fantastic including giving us complimentary kir royales.
We are regulars but this time we took two dear friends. The staff were very careful with one who is very disabled . The vegetarian menu was pronounced excellent. Our only quibble is that the staff were too solicitous with pouring wine which lead to us having a second bottle that we did not need, the one guest who wanted more wine could have had a glass.
Cote at Teddington is usually great..excellent service and good food. Last night was a disappointment. They were clearly having a bad evening. Service was very slow. We waited an age for our first courses and then had to ask them to clear our starter plates away after they’d been sitting there for the best part of half an hour. There was a long wait for main courses too. Food was okay but no better than that. To be fair, once we’d complained the staff were very attentive and we were given free desserts but they were clearly having problems, either a shortage of staff or difficulties with organisation. As I say, this is not typical of Cote Teddington (or Cote anywhere in fact) but it was a poor experience.
Delicious food excellent service great surroundings. We'll worth a visit
A delicious meal, nicely presented and good-sized portions. The chocolate mousse is one of the best I’ve ever tasted! Staff very attentive to any requests.
The food is good , but it bugs me that they charge for bread, charge for bernaise sauce and also automatically add a tip. Ends up being a pricey lunch!!
A lovely dinner out to celebrate mother’s day. Good quality food as always, packed with flavour. The kir royale was a lovely added bonus! Will definitely return!
Great food, wine and overall experience. Service was a very attentive and caring. As a family we rate Cote very highly and choose to dine there regularly.
Cote never disappoints! The only reason I gave 5 tather than 6 stars is that I think the main course portion (of the pork belly at least) was a tad on the small side!
Another excellent experience. Great food, good service and excellent value for money with the early bird menu. Always look out for a Cote when touring the UK.
Service, wine and food up to the usual great standard, can’t wait to revisit! The advantage of being on the mailing list allows us to take up whatever is on offer example lovely fruity red wines!
Veery attentive service, we appreciated the waitress replenishing the water promptly without having to be asked. Delicious food, only one complaint the duck, which should have been served pink, was a little overcooked. Dessert, which was the assiete gourmande was a lovely way to finish the meal.
We had a lovely meal and experience, it was a very busy afternoon on Monthers but the staff coped really well and were well looked after. The food on the set menu was delicious and very good value for money.
Would have given a 5 but service initially a bit slow; confusion over the table I had booked; dimmer switch on lights broken so bulb was very, very bright and made eyes water, member of staff had to remove the bulb from holder to rectify and enable us to be able to remain at the table. Waitress was brilliant - young girl, studying at college - very nice, extremely knowledgeable and handled situation impeccably. Pork skin was a bit soft and needed more cooking to crisp up - had it before and tends to be hit and miss, sometimes great and other times mediocre
Overall very good. The starter was tasty but a little over cooked on the edges. The main was delicious and the puddings Devine. Service was good although a mistake was made on the bill but this was corrected without hesitation. Enjoyable evening in all.
We were a table of 4 for my birthday, one of the party being my 3 year old daughter. The starters were nice, although it took half an hour for the starters to arrive, the table next to us were served first, although had arrived roughly 15 minutes after us, that wait for food with a 3 year old was too long, and I found it a bit odd sausages and mash came without any sauce or gravy- it looked a very dry affair. Our waitress kindly got us a small amount of gravy which was great. My mother and sister had cod gougons, they both ate about half ,both agreed they were dry and flavourless, I declined to try them. I had spinach and mushroom pancakes, which were so over cooked they were disintegrating in the watery cheese sauce, it looked horrible - a brown sludge, swimming in cheese sauce, I have had these before so I was expecting a much more edifying dish. Again I could only eat half of it. We didn’t have pudding. On the plus side the staff were lovely, and we didn’t complain at the time as the staff had been so good, I didn’t want to direct my disappointment at them. I have eaten quite a lot in Côte in Richmond,Teddington and St.Albans, and at peak times that have been much busier than the restaurant was today and have not had such a disappointing experience.
Thoroughly enjoyable as always with great service and lovely polite and friendly staff. Food was really great. But to just be a little picky. The soda water comes in tiny bottles. The seabass could have done with being a little more crispy and the fennel was cooked in a way that took away the final flavour. But as said that is being very picky
Service slow, waited too long in between food and drink order, started cold eventually changed but took a while to come back others had finished their starter, no info about menu, tables not cleared after people had left. Eat here a lot with friends, won't be back.
The menu is varied and has plenty of options. Good to see there are also some specials. Enjoyed the evening with family and would definitely visit again. The only complaint was the rose wine was not cold and had to be changed
Great Service. I will definitely come back. They charge a 12.5% service charge. I'd rather decide what I tip. However, on this occasion I gave an extra £20, because all though I picked up the bill, I thought they helped make the evening better & looked like they enjoyed it!
had a great breakfast!! Staff very good and attentive as usual
Although the restaurant was quiet we still enjoyed the ambience and the attentiveness of the staff. We understood why customers were staying away but this did not prevent the staff form being cheerful and doing their best to ensure we had an enjoyable lunch.
Lovely, fabulous team and management...if anything isn’t right, just let them know and they’ll try to put it right...massage the messenger, the King just wants positive results!
Our visit at Teddington was great. The food was very good and lso the service.
Good food and good efficient staff and going again tomorrow for breakfast
In the current circumstances we had a pleasant evening. The restaurant was unusually quiet. The food was good.
A good meal as I would expect from a favourite restaurant.
