Very slow and poor service. We asked the manager for the bill and it never appeared. Thirty minutes later we asked again and it finally appeared. A two course meal took over two hours and it wasn't very busy. Staff stood in groups talking.

My brother and I went for a meal after going to a matinee on Thursday afternoon @ Wiltons music hall, knowing the restaurant would be busy because of the Christmas period we pre booked a table for 6.00pm. Despite the fact the restaurant was extremely busy, the waiting staff were extremely attentive, the food and service was up to the excellent standard I have come to expect from cote. As it is Christmas week we dined al a carte and pushed the boat out with a bottle of fizz as well a very pleasant end to a fabulous day

Lovely attentive, helpful staff when there was a sudden onslaught of diners. And the food was really tasty & hot which we really enjoyed very much.

Very nice restaurant for lunch. The food is lovely. Only reason not to get full marks is that the service to take our order and then to bring the bill was a little slow and we had to ask twice.

Very nice food and great staff. Only a little disappointed as they had run out of my favourite tarte au citron! Overall a great experience.

Whilst it was a great atmosphere and good sevice, my food was not to the usual standard of Cote. It was a little disappointing that the standard seemed to slip, just because it was Christmas and busy.

We had a great evening at Cote St Paul’s. The ambience was just right, our waitress helpful and the food pretty good. It was a busy evening and my only criticism is that our main course was warm rather than served hot as we would have preferred. Hence I have scored a 5 rather than a 6.

Went with a supplier for a Christmas lunch. Didn't research much, just booked the first place I found. Venue, service, food - all spot on :) Had the Christmas pre-set menu. Really enjoyed the onion soup.

The food was very good and the staff were excellent. We would go again. The restaurant was large which meant that the tables were nicely spaced apart.

Excellent food and fantastic service for a party of 8. I ate at a far more expensive steak restaurant in London the previous week and I had to send my food back twice there so well done Cote. A great experience and excellent value for money!

It's a great place to take clients. The staff are efficient, polite and friendly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere but it is not noisy so conducting a business lunch is pretty easy.

Our table was not available when we arrived at the time booked. The table we were given was cold and draughty. The chicken was not properly cooked and had to be sent back. However the food, eventually, was very good and the price for the early evening menu was very attractive.

Good service but a little spoilt by an over salted steak. However I was compensated well with a free glass of Champagne. Very much appreciated!

At such a busy time of year we were grateful to find somewhere with a table available. We were seated downstairs, the mirrored Paris-style makes for pleasant surroundings. This branch of Côte seems to be integrated into a hotel - the loos are found amongst a gym room, elevators etc.

A really lovely branch of Cote, but as with the others we have tried, very noisy. Not the kind of restaurant to have a romantic meal. We went of the busy Friday before Christmas and service was slightly slower than we would usually expect but understandable for how busy the restaurant was. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was usual Cote standard. Overall a nice meal, loud and hectic atmosphere but would return.

We had table booked for 6 people at 8.30 (and had been confirmed that day), all of us use Cote restaurants often. But, when we arrived the table had been given away! However, we were given free drinks whilst they sorted out a table for us. Then the main course took ages to arrive (restaurant was very busy) However, the manager was excellent, made sure our bill was properly adjusted to our satisfaction, very polite and we would all certainly use Cote again. It was just one of those nights!

Nice food but we were made to go downstairs and eat off the hotel breakfast menu which was more expensive (given we didn’t want pastries and juice) and had limited choice.

We had to wait for a table as they were very busy but food and service were excellent and we were given a Kia Royal while we waited. There had been a big event at St Paul’s so they were very busy.

Great service and lovely food! Our table was ready promptly in a lovely location on the ground floor. We had the three course set Christmas menu and everyone commented on how delicious their meals were. Service was excellent - attentive but not rushed.

Table booked at least a month in advance of date and there was not enough room on the table for my party. Lunch was booked for 2pm and by 2.30 we were moved to a bigger table and provided with a complimentary drink. As it was a Christmas Party menu would have expected crackers and some sort of decoration on the tables. I had to ask for crackers! Nonwithstanding the bad start the food was excellent and enjoyed by all and we did manager to get a discount on the bill. Will probably not book again for a large party.

We had a great time at Core St Pauls - the team are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive - the atmosphere is great and in a very good location. Food portion sizes were a little on the small side (the chicken especially)

We have been visiting Cotes for a long while now and the food and service has always been fantastic. However, last night was an exception to the rule. The food was very poor and service very patchy. We were placed on a table downstairs (we have always sat upstairs before) but it was full of large and loud tables of Xmas parties, whereas upstairs is a much quieter area because it consists of small tables. Not a good evening.

Had the set menu, and the starters arrived less than 5 minutes after ordering which gave the impression that were being "held" ready for an order. Certainly the French Onion soup was not well presented (dribbles down the side of the pot, and the "crouton" somewhat burnt on top, but good taste. The Calamari was good but not very hot. Main courses were up to the usual high Cote standards. Staff and service were friendly and good as always, especially as it was quite busy pre-Christmas.
