Côte St Paul's

Nice staff but overwhelmed. One beer was long time to arriving but then two arrived! Food disappointing. Generally, we like Cote but this was poor.

Great food and service. Made my wife’s Mother’s Dsyvreally special. Would recommend it to anyone in future. Not sure why this I review requires you to write a minimum of 25 words though?

Lots of choices on the menu, so even though my first choice was not available there was no problem in finding something else to enjoy.

When possible I almost always opt for eating at Cote. This time I took a friend who now lives in the USA to Cote at St Pauls. He was VERY impressed with the venue, service, quality of food and wines not forgetting the price from the 2 or 3 set course menu pre 7pm! The only down side was that both fish mains had sold out!! Was this because it was a Friday?!! ;-). We sat upstairs and it wasn't too noisy plus one got a view of St Pauls. Very friendly and obliging staff. Thank you Cote!!

Great service even though it was busy. The staff were happy to check for certain ingredients and did so very quickly. Good portion size. Would come back

Great food and great service. Ideal for a business meeting and lots of room downstairs in the restaurant if upstairs is busy. Would definitely recommend.

Very efficient and friendly service; waitress particularly good. Food and wine good as well. Overall a very nice evening and we will definitely go there again.

We sat upstairs this time. Lovely atmosphere. The waitress noted the Champayne wasn't cold enough so immediately exchanged it without a fuss. Attentive service. Delicious and good value food. We ate from the 3-course menu.

The food vas very good but we had to wait 40 min before the starters arrived. The waiter did not seem confident maybe he was new. The food was very tasty though as usual.

It was really draughty sitting by the door every-time someone came in or out. The ambience is always great, service a little slow this time around but staff were really nice and friendly. I had the Coq au vin and although the flavours were fabulous, the chicken all came off the bone as it should but I had too many little bones which was annoying.

Service a little overcattentive - and was questioned by the waiter about why we chose a particular wine - which was bit odd! But think with hindsight he was trying to be friendly and chatty - which is no bad thing. Food good and overall great evening.

Friendly staff , good service at a very busy time. It was my sons birthday and they made it a special day. The food was good. I hope they are not going to keep hiking up the price though.

We had 2 lovely meals at Cote St Pauls, dinner and then breakfast the following morning. Food and drink were delicious, staff charming and bills very reasonable. Thank you very much.

Poor service, arrived to be told to sit anywhere, was left for a good 5-10 mins before anyone came to our table, then forgot the avocado, young waitress seemed irritated to serve customers when asked for anything and rolled eyes. Not the best experience, sadly!

The atmosphere is what you are looking for when you want to habe something special but still looking for a relaxed and trendy atmosphere

Excellent menu choice and attentive service. Terrific value for money in pleasant surroundings. The early bird menu is particularly good and the food is always well cooked.

Found porcelain in my dish, cut my finger with it. All the dishes came out very late. And the veggies were overcooked. As a summary, the services was really poor and slow. However as a good will they dicounted 50% of the bill and took of the service charge

Generally good. It was some times difficult to attract waiters attention. The tables are a little small - we were 4 and it was a little cramped with the drinks and side dishes etc

Good location, slightly away from the West End. Busy even on a Tuesday evening. Wide choice of decent quality food. Friendly service, although a little slow towards the end of the evening.

The staff are friendly and efficient. There is a good choice on the menu and although the food may not be outstanding, it is always good quality and value.

We arrived and as usual were made to feel very special - the Manager Dan had made sure our evening went well as we were introducing some friends to the restaurant - they were very impressed and as they live in London will I am sure return on their own Thank you to all the staff and especially Dan Trevor Rees

Nice place with a good service, staff members were really attentive, set menu offers really good pricing! At it’s served until 7pm. We had salmon from the small plates in the main menu, which was ok, but nothing impressive, rockets served with too much salt on top and all the meal quite oily. However, after we had Creme Caramel desert which was really tasty and refreshing!

In a great location with a large selection on the menu. Took my grandmother who thoroughly enjoyed it. Fab service as well. Would recommend and will be back. :)

Had a nice eve at the Ludgate location. Went for the 2 course set menu for £11.50, which is good value. Chose the mackerel fillets and the haddock. Both were v tasty.

it was noisy (the acoustic are deplorable) and the trainee staff were obviously receiving very little training snatching plates away, etc., We would not revisit

Slow service but great food. Excellent layout and friendly entrance. Would recommend for dates although not a fan of the gratuity being added automatically especially when wasn’t going to tip due to slow service. Optional should mean ask before adding to not make customers feel pressured into having to refuse

Cote St Paul's maintains the high standards you find in every restaurant in this exceptionally good chain. Excellent food and drink, attentive service all at a good price in a clean and well presented space

Good service and food not bad- Pork Belly could have been crispier but steak frites and pancakes were well appreciated. Overall a very pleasant experience

Very warm welcome, great atmosphere, good food and very friendly service. Our largish group was well looked after. Overall good value for money, we will go again.

Lovely restaurant. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were a party of 6 with some dietary requirements and the manager came and helped to make sure that everything went smoothly. The food was amazing and the service excellent. We all had a brilliant time.

It's a formula offering but done well with pleasant staff providing speedy service but not pestering you. Just right for a catch-up lunch. Thank you!

Arrived at 8.15 for business breakfast and not served until 9.15 - we also waited ages between first food arriving and the last person's food. Food was cold by the time we ate. Really poor.

Good menu choice, with some more imaginative options, for example mackerel and venison. The service was prompt and friendly. The set early evening menu is excellent value for money.

Three of us all enjoyed the pre-theatre menu and the buzzy atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious, especially the chocolate mousse. Cote is reliable for a relaxed get-together over a nice meal with a French flavour.

Good, well portioned food. Waiters slightly manic but to be expected on a Friday lunchtime I guess. A good, solid business lunch and a reasonable price.

Really lovely food. Steak was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed my dessert. We also had great service despite the busy restaurant, We all agreed we would return.
