Tables are way too close together and I had very noisy neighbours so I found myself shouting to be heard by my guest. Food was good.
I love Côte restaurants but have to say that I'm extremely disappointed that when I occasionally get emails offering me complimentary items and I book accordingly, when I and my guest arrive I always have to remind them of the offer and then when the bill arrives at the end of the lunch/dinner I have to call the waiter/waitress over as the so-called 'complimentary' items have been charged! I find this very embarrassing! There is always an immediate apology and the bill is taken away and amended, but one wonders whether Côte just hope the customer won't notice and will just pay the price at the bottom of the bill! It's such a shame as I've always found the staff friendly and helpful and the food very good. i would therefore usually mark as a 5 star experience. I've been lucky enough to have 3 or 4 of these offers but this has happened every time! Once would have been acceptable as an oversight but every time?! Come on Côte!! Other than that today was excellent - my friend and I had a great time. I hasten to add that I frequent different Côte restaurants but this has happened every time I've booked with a complimentary offer.
Good service, friendly staff, tasty food well cooked and reasonably priced. Yes a winning combination would return but not a working lunch would love to have tried a glass or two of wine.
Prompt and friendly service. Always reliable food quality. Not a huge choice of dishes and wines, but certainly adequate. Prices OK for the location. Pity they don't have draught beer.
Food excellent. Showed to suitable table on arrival and served efficiently. Have tried other restaurants in St Christopher's Place and would rate this as the best.
Great service and food was good as always. The duck is always great....and the steak tartar as appetizer was a nice discovery. My friends were also impress.
very friendly staff who did not hurry us and were very helpful ,offering us tea when the coffee was too strong for us and we had a very nice bottle of rose wine perfect
Food very good. I booked a table for four, with an offer of a free bottle of wine if ordering one main course from a la carte. Head waiter insisted on three main courses had to be ordered from a la carte menu. In the end after a bit of discussion he agreed on two to order from a la carte menu and two could order from set afternoon menu. When we got the bill we were charged for two bottles of wine instead of one. They did take one bottle off the bill after telling them. Food lovely, but spoiled the day with having to argue about something they did not make clear in their offer.
Is not the first time at Cote and always I had amazing experience. One of the best restaurants in London. Very nice and friendly staff.
Fantastic service, when on a lunch time schedule its crucial we received the food quickly and that's exactly what they delivered. Food was superb and all 4 of us rated it very highly and extremely good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to recommended this venue
Food was great, service little bit slower tho and was waiting 10 minutes to take payment then manager came with 2 pdq machines apologising they closed by mistake our table and he needs to do 2 separate payments now to cover ours.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent service. We alway enjoy our time there. The restaurant is situated in the heart of the west end which so convenient for us.
Warm welcome, excellent service and beautiful food on a very busy evening. This was our first visit to Cote Brasserie but certainly will not be our last.
Good location, good food, good service and friendly staff. Very close to Oxford St but in a quiet street. Would return here in a heartbeat.
I have visited the Cotes Restaurant for the past few years and was always satisfied with the quality of the food and very friendly and professional staff. Keep up the great work!!
It was a cold, grey day in London but at Cote it was warmth and smiles. The food was, as always, excellent and the service beyond reproach - well done to eveyone!
Our favourite restaurant for either lunch or dinner when visiting London. Excellent management and staff, always made to feel welcome on our arrival and they always endeavour to fulfil our table request. Friendly and attentive service throughout the meal and always a personal goodbye when we leave. It goes without saying that the choice and quality of the food and wine is also excellent and good value.
Service was very good and attentive and efficient Food was excellent as always. Nice atmosphere and ambience. Lovely evening had by all and would definitely return. Enjoyed the free bottle of wine promotion.
A house josh district court is now in the process of keeping in a very much effort and said the in the first place 🥇
Great food, ambiance and service every time! I took three children there and the restaurant catered for them brilliantly offering a great kid’s menu and drinks.
The staff were really lovely, promptly served our lunch and let us chill with wine after we had finished. Lovely restaurant in a quaint location. Can't believe it's the middle of London.
The lunch was of good quality but sadly the main course was not adequately hot. The service was good and the meal reasonable value for money.
The restaurant is located up a passage from Oxford Street opposite Bond Street tube station. Very good service and low background noise levels. A good choice of dishes and wine. All nicely presented. Reasonable prices considering the location. Recommended.
A friendly welcome and the service all through the meal was very good. St Christopher's Place is very convenient if you are shopping or like us have been to the Wigmore Hall. Starters were tasty and the Cote de Rhone good value for money
The food was amazing as always. We had Fish Parmentier and Pan Roasted Haddock. Cheerful, efficient staff. Looking forward to my next experience at Cote Brasserie - St Christopher's Place.
Food was excellent, really impressed with the quality on offer. Busy but staff was great. We did arrive before 7pm but our order was taken after 7pm so they told us we couldn't order the set menu which was a shame as that was part of the reason we went!
Excellent as usual, warm welcome, patient staff, good seasonal set lunchtime menu and delicious food.very generous time allowance for chatting and topping up the drinks thank you will return
Consistently good food, great service and overall value for money. The St Christopher's Place branch never fails to deliver. In a great location too. Highly recommended .
Food was amazing and service was excellent. Always a great time. Had the 3 course set menu and it didn’t disappoint. Love being part of the rewards program
The food was very good and good value but the restaurant was very busy and too noisy - very difficult to have a conversation. I think they need to think of ways to absorb the sound as it spoilt the evening and we won't go back.
Great food, great atmosphere and such a good location. The service is very fast and always serve don't with a smile. The menu is quite extensive and I recommend the mussels!
Very good food, always consistent, excellent friendly service, we eat there often, i can heartily recommend the Cote restaurants. If you want to eat well at a very reasonable price, try it soon.
friendly efficient staff lovely meal with a free bottle of wine on an autumn offer no complaints at all would recommend and will visit there again
Very busy and lively. Good range of brasserie food - very tasty. We had wil mushroom & spinach crepes and Breton fish stew. Only downside: conversation quite loud.
We were meeting friends on a Saturday evening. Both meal and service were excellent. The waitress was attentive to our needs, Atmosphere lively but not obtrusive
We took my 85 Year old Father who had never been to cote before the meal was wonderful apart from the portion sizes being slightly small and having to eat again later we will go back
Great food and nice environment. Good selection on the menu and the price is OK for London. Would return again if ever in the area.
Great food as always and good value especially the early bird offer. The restaurant was too warm though - not sure if there was an issue with the air conditioning but it did get too hot so we decided to have dessert elsewhere. Staff are super friendly and service great.
The same friendly welcome from staff and yet another good meal. Good to see French onion soup back on the menu, we have missed it!
Reasonably priced good food from the lunchtime menu. Steak frites was excellent, as was my companion's chicken with sauté potatoes. We finished with the chocolate pot and the soufflé. Very enjoyable. Good service.
Staff attentive throughout our dinner offering suggestions from the menu and serving our meal selections without delay. The food was tasty and cooked to perfection, and the portions were just right.
This was the first time at this paricular Cote brasserie. I can't fault the food it was delicious. It was fairly quiet when we first arrived, but even though it got much busier, the standard of service remained very good.
The staff were helpful and patient with our requests. The food was delicious. A new member of the team was being trained by more experienced colleagues, good to see the skills and knowledge being shared.
The waiter was very sullen, bordering on rude, the mushroom soup was quite tasteless, the potatoes with the griddle chicken were very dry and overall a very disappointing visit to a Côte restaurant
Service excellent. Steak did not come out cooked to order to returned it, when it came back the other steak was then overdone. Must again say that the service was great, despite the restaurant being very busy.
A lovely venue with helpful staff. The menu is reasonably priced and quite varied but doesn't change that often. Food quality generally good but my French onion soup was a bit tasteless
I am a Côte regular as the chain is good value for money and now has many London location but this particular restaurant is extremely well located and has a super team hosting clients starting with the manager who again and again is most helpful and welcoming.
Our waiter was rude and condescending. He insisted that the wine we ordered was inferior to the one he wanted to serve, I ordered bread which never came. I was charged for it. Fortunately I checked my bill and asked for it to be removed, which they did. my spinach and mushroom crepes had more cheese and sauce than vegetables. I had to search for some spinach and the few bits of mushroom. I will not visit the brasserie again
Welcoming atmosphere with staff clearly trained to ensure customers needs were listened to and accommodated. Good food and service and a great atmosphere. An overall delightful visit!
Visit Cote at St Christopher's Place on a regular basis and it never disappoints. Took a friend today for her first visit and she said she would definitely visit again. She is gluten free which presented no problem as they have a special menu just for this purpose. Lovely friendly staff, always happy to help.
