Côte St Christopher's Place

We went for lunch on a bank holiday Sunday. The food was fresh and delicious, the service efficient and friendly. Like the fact that there are new seasonal dishes put on every month.

Food was very good but the manager who also acted as our waiter at times appeared angry, unfriendly and not wanting our service. An effort and smile was only given once and that was at the end of the meal when an unexpected birthday dessert was provided.

Service efficient and friendly. Set menu (as always) good value for central London. Would have awarded higher score bit my starter was not as hot as it should have been. Will still continue to visit though.

Great restaurant possibly my favourite Cote of all. The location is wonderful and the service is great. After some retail therapy it's lovely to just go there and have great food at such a good price.

Cote was Excellent as usual!! It was selicious and amazing value. The wait staff was attentive and very good. We will be sure to return.

The food was excellent value for money and the service very good too. We had the 3 course set menu which had great choices and also suited my gluten free friend.

Very good service with friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the good was excellent as normal. Will definitely go back again to that restaurant.

Great service, lovely staff. Starters excellent and my Toulouse sausage & lentils were fine, but my son's steak a little bit chewy. Recommended for pre theatre dinner

Food great as usual, service not as good as usual. It was so noisy it made it very difficult to have a conversation. I felt exhausted by the time we left.

When we arrived upstairs was very noisy but immediately we were directed downstairs which was much quieter. Very enjoyable lunch & very helpful staff. We will return. Thanks. David

Efficient service, decent food but SO noisy that I left with a sore throat. Pre-theatre meal is good value, recommend tuna rilletes and minute steak.

Nice waiters good food. I had the steak and chips. Great wine too. Very easy to access location. I have been to this restaurant at st Christopher’s place a few times and it’s always good.

We enjoyed the food very much and found the service friendly and attentive. Coffee was not hot enough but that was a small thing. The main problem was noise. Some noise reduction measures would make all the difference. It's the only reason why we probably won't go back so let us know if you fix it!

Really good service, excellent steaks, I had sirloin, the other 2 members had fillet steaks. Mine was just how I like but one of party a bit disappointed as he asked for medium and it looked just like my medium rare instead. Complimentary free wine was good too, thank you.

Great food from excellent, friendly staff in a great location with a very good atmosphere. I can’t say more than that so I won’t but you want 25 words so I’ve got to pad this out.

Super restaurant. Great food and wine - with attentive, caring staff. Centrally located and makes a really special event if coming into town. My friends and I have been there many times and will certainly return. Super-friendly, but non-invasive service.

Food was excellent but service was very poor. We waited 45 minutes for food to arrive.My guest is a diabetic and the delay put her at risk. We ordered a glass of wine each , one glass was served the other glass was served 6 minutes later. Today fell very short of the standard I have been used to at Cote.

Another great evening at the restaurant with friends. We waitress was very friendly and made a number of good recommendations of what to eat and drink.

Nice welcome. Efficient service. Food consistently good and excellent value. Lovely venue, tucked away from the busy shopping streets. A favourite venue for lunch with friends.

Both the service and, of course, the food were excellent. The staff were very professional even though very busy. The overall experience was very pleasant.

Delicious fish cakes. Very friendly and efficient staff. Reasonable prices. My only very small complaint is that the endive and pear salad was mostly endive with very little dressing.

Usual good Cote service and value at a buzzy location. It was great to be able to sit outside on a sunny spring day - recommended.

Great location. Really friendly welcoming staff and the food is consistently good. This Cote is always busy and can get quite noisy but it has a great atmosphere.

Lovely lovely food and service. Could not be better! Taking two friends out who’s been to another Cote before but wasn’t sure why I picked this one, very impressed.

Service slow initially then got better. Food was good. Restaurant was very loud. Water bottles too small meaning the waiters have to keep replacing them which takes up time.

Great service and a nice break between starters and main, one of my pet hates is being rushed but this was perfect here. And the food was lovely

We ate outside on a lovely day and really enjoyed our lunch. The food and service were excellent. We had a long leisurely lunch and were not hurried off the table at all.

We visited Cote on the hottest day of the year so far and had to ask for the air con to be switched on. The set menu provided ample choice and we were not disappointed with any of the chosen dishes.

Awful service, waiter uninterested and very bad fillet steak which was fatty and gristly!!! My party of 4 were most unimpressed. To cap it all they had cheek to add service charge

Food as ever good, but some mix up with order, it might be a good idea to repeat order back to customer to ensure that it has been understood correctly.

We had a lovely experience at Cote St Christopher place today. We visited for lunch for my mum’s 60th birthday. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. He really made sure it was an extra special experience for us. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was good and well priced. I will be coming back!!

This restaurant never lets me down,fantastic service and food reasonably priced and ideal place for all age groups and budgets.Return time after time,always a great experience.

as a person that eats a lot if chicken and regularly dines in cote restaurants the Breton chicken I had last night had a terrible smell and was definitely past it's sell by date. Could not eat it and it was taken off the bill.very disappointing.

We enjoyed our dinner in Cote St.Christophers Place: friendly staff, good menu, very tasty food, reasonable prices, lively atmosphere. Feels like being on holiday. Will definitely go there again.

The food was fine but service was very slow . We waited over 20 minutes for our dinner plates to be cleared and had three different waiters serve the table. Not enough staff.

Lovely location with other eateries just off the hustle of oxford st. Modern and nice area with shops. Staff excellent and on entry hostess very welcoming and serving waitress attentive and polite without intrusion. Food excellent and good value

My frend was already there the staff was aware and took me straight there. We wanted ribeye steaks one with chips to share one with salat with sauce on the side all was no problem and it was delicious great lunch
