Côte St Christopher's Place

The meal was rather hurried because my guest arrived late and we had tickets for a concert at the Wigmore Hall, but the staff rallied round to produce both courses and the bill promptly. The dishes selected from the set menu were, as usual, interesting and appetising, and well prepared and served.

The overall experience was great and we would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to our friends and family who were looking forward to a great night out with great food and service.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful from when we entered and we were soon served with menu’s and drinks. Everyone enjoyed all that was ordered and made it a very pleasant dinner

I am a regular at Cote and would recommend to anyone. This Month’s specials were wonderful ... the ambiance is great and the staff are so friendly.

Didn't spend a fortune but had a lovely afternoon. Staff very understanding about not all us oldies turning up (sickness) very enjoyable and great service.

First class experience everything was lovely from service food could not find any fault.Friends who were with me have all commented on what a lovely restaurant and passed this on to colleagues.You can not believe you are in the heart of London this tucked away restaurant is unique and I cannot wait to return

Great eating experience with excellent service. It's part of a chain but they keep the standard of preparation and presentation very high. Food is always good. I recommend it.

Very nice staff, very friendly and welcoming. Good food, fine wine (rosé and prosecco) not chilled nearly enough. It's a French restaurant and,oddly, they charge for bread. Otherwise good food at reasonable prices.

Our waiter was very attentive and provided extremely great customer service!! Lovely experience at the Cote Brasserie this evening - we are very happy customers.

Excellent, friendly service, delicious food and the recommended wine was spot on. Staff went out of their way to check on the progress of our meal and our enjoyment of it.

Our group always receive excellent service at all Côte restaurants, but especially St Christopher Place, where we are regular diners. Good food, friendly service, we are made to feel really special.

very bad. I came in the afternoon when the store is nearly empty. takes 10 mins to come to take order. I ordered an onion soup and a steak. in other branch, onion soup usually takes less than 10 mins to come. but after waiting nearly 20 mins without any communication, I asked if the kitchen is working ( no other guests got food either). then they brought up the soup (not hot ) and then the steak (hardly cooked...more like a beer tartar than steak). Worst branch avoid!

Love this particular branch of Cote - excellent value if ordering before 7pm. We go as a group of uni friends now in our 60s and have never been disappointed.

Steak was good, and price was quite reasonable for the quality. The wine list was also fairly priced. Service was attentive. Will go back again.

Always reliable, Cote offers quick pre-theatre menu or a la carte dining. We chose from their rapide plates -grills- which were delicious. Service was also quick & efficient.

Always good food and good prices. Your menu is very good and I like the regular changes to it. When will you open a restaurant in Milton Keynes? You are better than most there.

Efficient and attentive staff. Meal arrived quickly and was enjoyable. It was a hot day and it was helpful that the front doors opened to provide fresh air, creating a good atmosphere. We did have to get our bill adjusted, but this was done quickly with no quibbling, with accompanying apology for the error.

We got a seat on the terrace, we could of be at the South of France, it was lovely!

The staff made us very welcome good service and the food was tasty. Did not have to ask for tap water as it is provided in terracotta carafes.

Good, well prepared food and efficient service. My fish was perfectly cooked. I like the new Prestige set menu. My partner enjoyed the pork. Sorry to see the apple crumble removed from the pre-theatre set menu though.

Service was very slow, had to ask to order drinks/order food/order dessert, it was also so loud we could hardly hear each other, food was lovely

We always like Côte Brasserie as the food is a little different, the atmosphere is humming and the staff are good. We usually go for the 2 course £12.95 menu which lasts until 7.00pm. Limited choice but covers a wide enough range. This time we had the 3courses for an extra £2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a reliable eatery in different parts of London.

All-in-all a very enjoyable experience helped by a beautiful sunny day. The staff were very helpful and attentive and were accommodating when I wanted to choose from both the fixed and à la carte menus. Good value for money.

A very pleasant meal with good prompt service washed down with reasonably priced wine. Good to see your standard of service and cuisine is being maintained.

Warm enough to eat out comfortably on the Terrace. Good fresh food, Salmon excellent, Calamari beautifully hot and bread-crumbed, Frites as crisp as glass. We were not rushed, and the staff were professional and pleasant.. A thoroughly agreeable lunch.

I love this restaurant. Ideally placed just a short walk from Oxford Street. Excellent food reasonably priced for the location. Never had a bad meal.

The meal - steak frites followed by chocolate pot - was delicious. Steak just perfectly cooked, just the right number of frites. The chocolate pot had less chocolate and more creme fraiche than they usually serve, but it was very good nonetheless. As always, the place is pretty noisy due to the low ceiling and the number of diners, but at least the music is kept low - would be better with none at all. However, despite my slight criticisms, I would give the top overall marks as I always enjoy coming to this Cote.

Very pleasant surroundings, especially with all the glass frontage opened up. Excellent menu as usual though it would be good to have bread automatically on the table as in France!

Great food however the service was not the best. Seemed a bit short and quite difficult to get a waiters attention when needed. Great venue too.
