The environment/location at St Christopher's Place is nice. The service was good - provided by staff who are pleasant. Most importantly, the food was great.
We use cote brassiere a lot but i don't think the 2 in London is as good as the 1 in Berkshire. Other than that it was ok 👍
The best meal I’ve had in months and the service was great too. Nothing was too much trouble at all and the service was attentive but not intrusive
As always the food was delicious, the menu was varied & catered for all the dietary requirements of our party. We also recieved excellent service
We always have a meal here every time we are in London. The service and ambiance are always excellent . The quality of food is always first class and the closest we have found to restaurants in France where we lived for 9 years.
Very average in comparison to their service in the past. Wasn’t a very busy afternoon yet staff seemed to be busy and less attentive leaving us to wait to order .
Food is good though there was five of us for lunch two people had their food brought out, we had to ask twice for the other three meals. Someone on my table also asked for ketchup when it was offered, again we had to ask twice, the restaurant was busy but the service was poor
Food and service are consistently good at Cote especially liked the summer menu additions and in this heat wave the air conditioning was a welcome relief.
It was not easy to get the waiter attention. I had asked for bread, although none was ever brought to the table. It took forever to have the waiter come clear our plates after the mains were finished. We wanted to order dessers, but were told we would not be able to eat them outside due to the hour, so if we wanted to continue our meal, we would have to do so inside, even though we had been waiting 30 minutes for someone to clear our plate and ask us about desserts. We were also charged for drinks that were suppose to be included on offer (the bill was rectified).
Cote delivered to standard in terms of food and service, the location was exactly what we wanted and it completely met our requirements for a good value lunch
Good food at a reasonable price, delivered with a smile and at an unhurried pace that met our needs - as reliable as Côte always is.
Very enjoyable food steak frites and chips. Excellent service even though it was very busy. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would recommend to friends and family.
Excellent food, in an atmosphere that was pleasantly busy but not frantic and most important given the outside temperature, just the right level of air conditioning
Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They whole team managed to find the time to talk to us but also kept everything moving quickly. Happy with the whole experience and the food was good too. Dan
It’s always a pleasure to visit Cote, excellent food at a reasonable price, Ivan and his team are second to none very polite and welcoming.
Food and services were very good - but we were not able to talk to each other as the cuttelery and plates noises were too high. next time we will choose a different place at the restaurant to eat. Thanks
Good experience. Took a little time to take our order and there was no once around to ask for the bill but a decent experience for a chain restaurant.
Went here with friends for dinner. Food was great and service good too despite being busy. Cote is always a good experience!will definitely come again
Nice restaurant in a trendy boutique area just off Oxford Street. Quite busy but reasonable service for London although the food did take quite a while to arrive.
Good and absolutely tasty food. A very good place to eat or take your family and friends to eat. Lovely, friendly and excellent service .
Service was slow, not very attentive, for Central London the service needs to be of a higher standard than this to attract repeat business and get customers coming back
Excellent meal as always. Staff very friendly and efficient. Good value for money especially the set meal menus that change each month. This restaurant is a 'must' to visit if in the West End.
Decent basic brasserie food at very reasonable prices. A good standard & suitable for a quick lunch, or swift meal before/after theatre or a movie
Love going here but last nights food not upto their usual standards the soup was served tepid and when reheated the bread had soaked up most of the soup so only about four spoonfuls of soup didn't complain about this as we already complained that the soup was not served hot, and didn't want to wait for another soup. Please don't be put off by this review as we will go back again as we have been before with no problems just a little frustrating.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Have eaten here many times and it never fails to please.
Got seated very quickly. I had a set lunch menu and the food is excellent. I will introduce this place to my friends and colleagues. Price are very reasonable too.
I booked this place for a meeting. Got a very nice table for business discussion. Fantastic place for a quick business meeting and food is nice.
The food and service were excellent. We come every June for a celebration lunch and we are never disappointed. I think the only drawback this time was, as it was very busy, it was noisy and difficult to have a conversation.
This Thursday lunch at Cote, St Christopher's Place, was excellent. Nice table just in from front and shady. Great meal. We were NOT exactly offered a free bottle of wine but, bearing in mind the heat, did not really want it.
Excellent food and pretty decent service too. Chose the goats cheese starter with the pork belly to follow from the FPM. Excellent flavours and textures. St.Christophers is a wonderful location, always buzzy, always interesting.
Great time last night. Service, food & ambiance were all lovely. The location with the large open windows/doors & outside dining option are fantastic especially in the summer.
Great service by a motivated staff all visibly working together. Fastest delivery of a bottle of wine ever. Good value for money. Will be back.
Good service, though a bit slow. This is understandable as it was a busy day in the restaurant but not ideal for people like me who wanted a quick business lunch. They should hire more waiters as the waiters there looked very rushed.
Service and food were excellent as usual. We had a table booked for 2.00pm. I was on time but my friend was nearly an hour late. The staff didn’t bat an eyelid and were extremely patient. The noise level was very loud when I arrived but was pleasant by the time my friend turned up‼️
unfortunately very noisy in all parts of the restaurant - request for outside table that was made at the time of booking not accommodated and all tables in the shade occupied when we arrived
A warm friendly atmosphere the staff work very well together to give great service and the food is always good. Would definitely recommend to friends.
The service at the St Christopher place branch, by and large, was very fine, as was the food and wine, which was also good value for money.
It's a regular favourite and on a nice sunny day great to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Food always consistently good though service sometimes forgetful/overbusy but staff seem friendly and not overstressed so management must be doing the right thing by them. Always busy which is a good sign.
Nice venue, the usual high quality food and service. Cote remains our favourite. If you like meat, have the rib-eye steak - excellent. Also, join up for rewards.
all excellent !! I can't fault my experience and would defiantly recommend to anyone as I always enjoy the ambiance and very professional service - very good value too
Cote st Christopher’s Place is a very central meeting point and serves Good food has very attentive helpful staff and always delivers. Good value for money!
Great al-fresco dining. Quality of Steak Frites not up to scratch and below standard I normally experience at the Hampstead branch. Service a little over-attentive to my taste.
My long-standing experience of Cote restaurants has always been good. High quality food and ample choices at reasonable prices and mostly friendly and prompt service. Also good wine list at moderate prices. The only drawbacck is level of noise making conversation difficult for wearer of hearing aid.
We find this restaurant combines reasonable speed of service with friendly staff and a quite good quality food. It suits us to go there particularly for Sunday lunch.
A great restaurant, staff are really helpful and attentive in a very busy restaurant. In a beautiful part of London, Lunch menu is excellent value.
The greeting was warm. I was allowed to sit without bother while I awaited my friends. The food, when ordered, arrived quickly was hot and very tasty. The restuarant was a bit warm, we were asked if we wanted the air con. switched on at a low speed. We said yes. It was and worked well in the background. The "music" was kept very low volume, the only freedom that the restuarant has. It being imposible for them to switch it of completely, which is wrong. The restuarant should have total control, including removing the whole system.
Good reception and table. Very average food and fairly slow service, think waiters would have preferred to be elsewhere. Staff polite and helpful. Yes we would revisit.
We love Cote and this was one of the best meals yet. We ate outside though the service was as attentive as if we'd been at the heart of the restaurant. Chilled pea and mint soup for one and a hefty hot onion for the other perfect ly reflected the mixed "summer" weather. Lamb (rare - perfect) would have been spot on in a restaurant costing twice as much and an excellent minute steak for main course kept us happy. My only reservation is that the house red is not what it used to be: it's now unusually thin and unrewarding. We should have moved down the list to something better, certainly the food deserved it.
Cote is a firm favourite and St Christopher's Place is particularly cosmopolitan with a great atmosphere. Cote never fails to provide good food, good service and good value.
This is a busy, buzzing Cote. We sat outside, which was quieter and made it fun to watch the street life. The manager of this restaurant (Tasha or Sasha, I didn't hear properly) is excellent. She is welcoming, interested in her customers and obviously manages her staff really well, as they are friendly and very efficient. The food is great and competitively priced. There are healthy options. I loved the moules au cidre. I will definitely go back.
