Food excellent, service excellent and still the best crème caramel in the UK - or maybe the world!
Fabulous food.Good service.Lovely staff. We were a table of 6.Nothing was too much trouble.I also go to Eton Bridge and Sloane Square.Thank you.
Great service, amazing food, would highly recommend, the Chicken Rapid was amazing.
It was my birthday & I had a good evening. Food was good & service was excellent. Have been to this Cote more than I have been to other branches but have never had a bad experience.
This is the best restaurant in W1 and in a delightfully quaint and quiet location. Great selection, stunning quality and value especially before 7pm. And the service is wonderful. our waiter was Dimi and he could not have been more helpful or friendly. We enjoyed the moules and pork tenderloin from the prestige menu, also the chicken salad and cheese. Unbeatable value and service for the West End.
Excellent, friendly service. Staff could not do enough for the customer. Food delicious.
The restaurant is always busy and has a great atmosphere. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and attentive without being overpowering. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, the lunch and early evening menu being very good value. The food is always of a high standard and well-presented.
Always enjoy lunch at Cote St Christopher’s place. Nice ambiance, food always reliably good and well priced. We will be back again soon.
Being New Year's Eve, this was our last visit for 2019 to our favourite Cote restaurant. It was also (I think) something like our 15th visit for the year. In a way that says it all. However, let me be specific: the restaurant is perfectly located for the Wigmore Hall, the menu is reliable, delicious and extraordinary value for money, the atmosphere is great and the staff are FANTASTIC! We are made to feel like we are visiting friends with the heart-felt welcome we receive and great efforts are made to seat us at a particular table - because my wife uses a wheelchair and access is important. We are booked again for this year and are looking forward to our first visit of 2020.
A great experience as ever - everything exceeded our expectations
Excellent experience as ever - great food, great atmosphere and great price.
There was a warm welcome in spite of us turning up 45 minutes after we had booked! Didn't matter as the place was nearly empty, but the staff made us feel as though they wanted to see us. Food, drink and service as good as one has come to expect from Cote, and the head-waitress (manageress?) was charming. I would have given it 6 stars overall but it was rather chilly and the staff seemed unable to improve the temperature. I don't like piped music, but I recognise that unfortunately one has to put up with this.
Very good, booked a table for 17. Excellent speedy service
Excellent choice and quality on the Prestige Menu. Service great, friendly and not hurried. £30 for a 3 course lunch with a glass of wine is good value. Only drawback is high noise level making conversation a bit difficult.
overall very good but the service was a bit slow. Not bringing the food but taking the orders.
Good food, service slightly slow, hence I have dropped a star.
Very enjoyable meal...vegan options perfect for Veganuary, jolly glad we booked!
As always wonderful Service by lovely staff and excellent fairly priced food and good value wine. You are m favourite Côte and though others are good you knock them all into a cocked hat as the saying goes. Your staff are amazing by their speed, their attitude and friendliness while being probably the most efficient staff of any restaurant I’ve been in, including high priced high end ones. . Staff have stairs to cope with too also being used by customers going to washrooms. They are magnificent - areal credit to excellent friendly management. Already booked again for 2.15 for Jan 20th.
The food was adequate but the service was practically nonexistent sadly
Wonderful service from a fabulous waiter who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our evening, could not fault him and he really made the evening. Delicious food, wine and beer, we would definitely visit again!
We enjoyed the evening and particularly the New Year's Eve set menu. We thought the staff were very attentive. St Christopher's Place is our favorite Cote!!
A great night out family on New Years Eve. We were beautifully looked after.
Very pleasurable dinner with my family. Will definately return when next in London.
Well we arrived (group of 9) the waiter was great. But one of the employees was talking to a group of guests and was looking at our table and specifically said that this is not a cafe for creme caramel it’s a restaurant. This was clearly indicated for us to hear as we came specifically for the creme caramel. This was unpleasant. In my behave I booked in advance to come for the creme caramel and was approved so he does not have the right to speak about us and make people laugh. He was very rude very very rude. Unacceptable.
There were eight of us. I booked it months before. Food and service were good but then we had to wait for our desserts as the Cote Computer systems failed. We then had to add up our bill and go through it with the waitress. Had to pay in cash so we had a whip round. Not a great end to a dining experience. The staff and the food were very good but not having a back up system in place astonishing and no complimentary drink for the inconvenience. Would be reluctant to visit again.
The food was excellent and well presented. The staff were professional and friendly. It was Saturday lunchtime so restaurant was full and slightly noisy.
Unfortunately the “system “ went down and they were having to take orders using pen and paper. The order was finally taken 45 minutes after arriving! I think they were hoping the problem being short lived. Saying that the staff were polite and the food tasty. Just felt the wait the service charge should have been waived!! Would use again.
WiFi down so, apparently, no hot food available for half an hour or so which led to a backlog and arriving customers being turned away. The meal was okay and the staff did their best but the whole thing was a bit of a shambles. Even had to use an old card machine to pay. Shame really because we have enjoyed eating at Cote in various locations.
It was excellent 1 and my 3 friends all enjoyed our meals and the prompt and effficient service.
Excellent service, and lovely food. Would recommend, and return. It was my birthday, and they helped my grandma with a cake preparation.
service not good no bread and waiting for a drink 20 minutes told the waiter twice
Had a great Xmas lunch will definitely be back asap
We were welcomed upon arrival escorted to our table warm pleasant staff excellent service excellent food.
Very rude staff - pushed by staff many times whilst waiting for seat, same staff member grabbed menus after taking order with such little finesse she hit my father over the head with it as she was so care free and rushed. Food good but not up to usual Cote standard.
Excellent as always. Good value, good quality and good service.
Excellent breakfast, great service as always will definitely go back !
Had a lovely time on a busy Saturday afternoon. We had a friends reunion and we were not rushed at all. Everyone really enjoyed their food and our waitress was great.
Thank you for a really nice time this evening. I especially liked the nice welcome from the manager on arrival. The excellent and courteous service. The food and wine were really enjoyable. I am looking forward to my next visit.
The main problem with the noise level was the fire alarm going off - it seemed to go on forever!! That apart, a very good night out with friends
Like this place. The food is very good. The apple tart with vanilla ice-cream is highly recommended. Will visit again.
Great selection of food at affordable prices. Friendly efficient staff. This has become part of our festive dining experience!
After asking for a quiet corner at the back of the restaurant, they seated us in the middle of the noisy middle part, I couldn’t hear anything. Eventually they moved us downstairs, not great for my lady friend that used a walking stick. Food still good though
Lovely evening, restaurant very busy but service and food still very good. Our table was not ready when we arrived but staff were very apologetic and gave us a glass of fizz while waiting. We had £19.95 set menu and all commented on what good value it was
Accommodating...friendly...good food and excellent service. Great atmosphere in the middle of the city!
Amazing service and food was delicious would definitely come again!
On this occasion the restaurant was packed. Our waiter was amazing attentive but leaving us to gossip as well. He brought the food with a smile and was very pleasant and did not seem at all stressed. Food was great as always
Excellent. I would particularly commend the service. Our waiter was outstanding and added to our overall pleasure.
I went to Cote Brasserie for our company's Christmas lunch and we had a really good experience. They had our table and orders ready when we arrived. The service was really good and the staff is very friendly. We had a great experience and I would recommend it.
Service was a little slow but that seemed to be due to the number of tables our server had to look after
Excellent meal at great value. We had booked for 6:15pm and didn’t leave till 10:00pm! A lovely evening helped along by the superb staff at this restaurant.
