Côte St Christopher's Place

Yet another most enjoyable lunch in St Christopher's Place. The set meal had a number of items which we could have chosen, but eventually we decided on the poached egg and the chicken followed by a dessert. All were delicious.

Unbelievably noisy. Had to shout at my friends to be heard. Glad to leave.

We had a perfectly nice meal rendered brilliant by two non-food things. When I asked for the music to be turned down it was promptly turned off! After the meal when we were out in the street, one of your waiters chased after me with my mobile which had fallen out my coat un-noticed by me. Thank you !!!

Lovely food as ever. My friend had the duck. I had the steak. Both were cooked to perfection. Thank you

Only downside was that the first version of the bill included our free bottle of wine. Whether an oversight or a try-on, that is bad customer relations.

Introduced a few friends to Cote in St Christophers Place today and they were impressed. Very good standard of food as usual - thank you Regards Jenny PS service a bit slow today which is unusual.

We were a group of six celebrating a friends birthday, the food and atmosphere was great as always but Pamela was exceptional in looking after us, she was bubbly, helpful and just great!!! Still my favourite place to eat

There is always a welcome and service is usually efficient.

Food was OK but the service was pretty poor. Slow, forgotten orders and at times quite "blunt"

Lovely food, warm atmosphere and excellent service. It was very busy on a Tuesday evening in Centre of town, but we didn’t have a long wait to be served or for our food to come to the table. Staff very friendly. A great experience. Thank you.

Food is not Michelin star but consistently good and better than other chains. Service is excellent - overall great value for money.

Three of us ordered off the less expensive set menu. Two of us ordered the same meal; chicken with sauce potatoes. One arrived and the second chicken was off the prestige menu - not what we ordered. The manager was quite off hand and told me 3x it was the prestige menu. I appreciate that but it wasn't the menu I'd ordered off! He then said, unwillingly, I could have what was in front of me or he'd take it away and reorder what I'd ordered. I accepted the meal I'd not ordered for the lesser price. Come on Cote! If you don't provide the correct meal the entire meal should be free - not discounted

We arrived 20 mins early and were asked to sit outside/come back later. Too cold outside ( we are 70) so went for a coffee. Arrived 10 mins late and were told off. Food very nice but a long wait for main course. Waitress delightful.

Really nice and helpful staff, celebrated my birthday there and everything was so lovely! Even got a free drink on arrival!

Highly recommended for both delish food and superb customer service. The table was booked for a special occasion. We arrived 30 minutes earlier and our greeter said that he could definitely accommodate us however wouldn't be a 'nice' table. We said we would be back for the original booking time. We had just stepped out of the restaurant when the waiter came running after us and said: I have found a nice table for you!!! It was near the window exactly where we wanted it. Our waitress was also really lovely and smiley all the time. We wanted to order something that was only available on the previous menu and she really did her very best to accommodate our request. There were smiles and genuinely good customer care all around. Thanks again for making this special occasion one to remember :)

Saturday morning shopping in Oxford Street followed by lunch at Cote St Christopher’s Place. A varied menu and attentive staff.. Thats what I call a good day!!

Very nice and friendly place!!! I will recommend it to all! Food is perfect and delicious. Service is excellent and, the food comes quick!

It was a lovely experience. Our server was engaging and helpful. There was an issue with undercooked chicken but it was quickly resolved.

I’ve been going to Cote in St Christopher’s Place for years and it is consistently excellent. The standard has never slipped.

Disappointed with the food - lacked flavour (soupe à l’oignon, sea bass) and the desert (galette des rois) was not fresh and badly heated up to the point we could not eat it and had to send it back to the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and apologetic (we were not charged for the desert). Not sure I will be back anytime soon though- at least until the quality of the food has markedly improved.

Busy at dinner service, tables are too close. Noisy. Food is good. Service is good.
