Côte St Christopher's Place

Fantastic staff food and atmosphere and great value for money. We went to the wrong location at first and we were kindly directed to the correct one where on arrival we were given complimentary drinks! How’s that for customer service?

A good value pre-theatre menu is offered until 7pm with several choices of stater, main and dessert. Our party of five enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent on a very busy night.

Professional, did what I asked and good food and good service. I will actually be back, be it the same spot or at another Cote place. Well done.

Everything good apart from music, which was excessively loud!! We could barely hear ourselves shout at each other. It was turned down a little when I asked, but would have been far better switched off!!

Good location, lovely food and good atmosphere. On the whole staff were friendly but they were a bit too quick to try and clear our table and it felt like we were being rushed.

The door to outside was wide open and the it was 0 degrees so really cold-our table was directly in front and despite complaining endured a very cold environment for our meal. Disappointing

convenient location behind Oxford street after spending time shopping. Restaurant is friendly staff who welcome you and great service. Would recommend fish pie with a glass of bubbles!

I think this is one of the best Côte restaurants I have visited. Always very friendly and super efficient. As ever the food was delicious.

Totally we enjoyed our lunch in your restaurant. Staff are friendly and the dishes were very good. One thing which I was a bit disappointed was colour of my dish Steak Frites It was tasty but it would looked more tasty if there were any colours a bit , green or red or anything.

There were three of us for lunch. It was good as usual but my hake with potatoes was warm rather than hot. A bit disappointing. Also we were just inside the door which was left open. Thus chilly at times.

I go here regularly. It never disappoints from start to finish. Excellent menu with attentive service and good value. What is not to like .

Excellent food and surroundings. Polite staff and very efficient. The reason I’ve haven’t awarded the highest is because there was a mix up with the change ... first it was £2 under then £10 over. However, it was eventually sorted and the cashier was most apologetic. In their defence it was particularly busy. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Great place for a pre-Christmas champagne lunch during Christmas shopping trip - great value ! Will come back again soon, good service as well !

Server was polite and attentive, food tasted nice but unfortunately I had food poisoning. This is unfortunate. Atmosphere is loud and rowdy in this particular chain.

It was very busy when we arrived, and we had to wait 5 minutes, but once seated we had excellent service. The food was all tasty, and staff attentive.

The food was excellent (we had the pre-theatre menu). The service during the first half of our meal was excellent. There was a change of staff part way through the evening and after the change, the service was exceedingly relaxed (that's being charitable), for example, we had to wait 15 minutes for a bottle of wine to be served (and the staff needed reminding that we'd ordered another bottle). Unfortunately my chair was also clobbered on a fairly regular basis by members of staff and other diners which was exceedingly annoying.

Good food, nicely presented. Lively atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. Always so pleased there's a gluten free menu. I like having paper towels in the Ladies too - so much nicer than hand dryers.

Never had any problems at this restaurant, the food and service are consistently excellent. It was particularly pleasing that, given the queue for tables, having booked ahead, we were immediately seated.

I find this particular place magical, the food is great and the blond lady, who served us was fantastic. I was not entirely happy with the fact that I have found hairs in the butter that came with the bread, but that was replaced as you would expect. I have booked a table by the window, but then after being a bit late was seated elsewhere. The guys did make us a pleasant surprise for my fiancé's birthday, although there was a bit of confusion from another waiter, who said our vegetarian dishes have meat. Everything went well in the end, thank you Cotê, the chefs and staff for a pleasant evening. P.S. It is a shame that the outside seating area heaters were not present. Hope to see them soon.

We have been going there for years. Great value food and service. Enjoyed the glasses of kir royale for my birthday! Always a good choice.

If the service is optional it should not be included in the bill. I could I asked for it to be removed but there's no need to put me in such an uncomfortable place. I will tip for the service anyway but let me decide how and how much.

We received friendly and efficient service. The food was cooked well and we all enjoyed an early evening supper. Thank you we will come again.

Amazing service, great food, perfect location. We were a really crowded bunch with a few kids and they have managed to make all of us very happy! Cote is always the best.

Good food from a wide and interesting menu. Good, quick service, lovely staff & our waiter got us out in time for our concert. All good.

Excellent lunch - the chicken and walnut salad was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The £12.95 set lunch money was a very good deal.

Poor service. 4 of us returning to the restaurant for the umpteenth time. Two starters incorrect. Two desserts incorrect. Items on the bill that were not ours. Very disappointing.

Friends from overseas came, this is our second visit this year to this restaurant, it is rather noisy but the atmosphere is v good, international and the waiting staff are excellent, it is an extremely busy restaurant but they handled any problems efficiently and without any difficulty. All in all a good experience: the waiter was 'onit' whereby whatever extra we needed was attended to and within a good time. Food was v nice and price is good value for the meal: we had an offer for a free bottle of wine which was great. I hope we will go here again, we had a vegetarian, a person with nut allergy and all this was taken on board and adhered to well.

Restaurant manager was very welcoming upon arrival which is always a good start. Food up to normal standard that we expect of Cote - restaurant very noisy and it is just a shame there are no quieter tables.

Lovely visit, always enjoy Cote and waitor was very helpful; was busy though and felt very crammed in, and with a loud table next to us it wasn’t as enjoyable as usual. Food delicious as usual though.

Nice warm welcome. Food very good and arrived very quickly. Nice atmosphere. Staff very attentive with no pressure for us to leave once we had finished our meal.

Lovely food, friendly efficient staff, great atmosphere and location one of my favourite places to eat. St Christophers Place looked very festive with its Christmas decorations.

Excellent service and great food, aways go there for special occasion with friends and family by far the Best restaurant in london. Aways well look after as a regular customer.

We ate three courses off the set menu which were very tasty and good value. The service was attentive and we were not rushed by staff.
