I normally have lunch at this restaurant, so was curious about evenings. Ambience was just the same. Thought we would be rushed but had all the time we needed. As always the food was excellent. Great place to eat.

They refused to give us the table we wanted because we wanted dessert and we left, the host was rude and not accommodating.

St. Christopher's Place in London. No cold bottles of Sauvignon Blanc on a Friday night in London! So our free bottle was warm and we had to have ice. Asked for fries with our tuna nicoise and had to wait a good ten minutes for them to arrive after our salads were already on the table. No extra plates when we were sharing our calamari until we asked and waited. Calamari came out before our drinks! Not good service as had to ask for everything and wait. Appreciate they were busy but not the usual high standard we expect from Cote. Our usual restaurant Cote in Brighton is much better!

An excellent late Sunday lunch following a concert at the Wigmore Hall. The staff were very friendly, we were shown to an excellent table and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

This is a great place for friends or business. Food excellent and good value for money. Staff friendly and great service. Atmosphere is always buzzing but can get quite noisy on a busy lunchtime.

This resturant always gives a good service from the staff, polite and friendly. the only problem I encounter here is the size of the tables and the amount of crockery/bottles/glasses and dishes 2 people can accumilate in a lunchtime sitting, it's like playing chess moving one this to accomodate another. Today this lead to y friend spilling a drink on a neighbouring diner, causing embarrassing results for her and the other diner.

Really enjoyable experience. Waiter very attentive and friendly. Food delicious, all for a very reasonable price especially in London. In fact the whole experience couldn't have been any better especially for my wife's birthday. Would love to return when we're next in London.

Went for a meal at st.christophers place last night arrived early for our booking no problem for the staff. Atmosphere was great, food was superb, staff were excellent great of the beaten track location will go back definitely Mr K Phillips

Okay place food was good but for price, place is located in nice part of central London.

As always magnificent staff, efficient and friendly, and though it’s a busy restaurant with a high footfall, the waiters make you feel they’re only looking after you. Super food from a good choice on menu and variety of different priced menus. It’s always a pleasure to eat there and I’ve introduced many friends to it, all of whom have been delighted to discover Cote. How the staff make service so calm and personal when they’re so hectically busy amazes me. Good to see managerial staff joining in clearing tables etc. The blonde lady and 2 senior men staff are an asset to you and to your customers. A big thank you for a lovely lunch on table 14 today- the start of the week of my 80th birthday.

I had the vegetarian breakfast. I did have to send the poached eggs back since they were undercooked, however staff were very nice and simply re-cooked another breakfast for me, which was much better. Very nice. Service was friendly and I would recommend this branch of Cote.

I realised that this is a great place for family dining. Varieties of food choices suit everyone's taste. Will recommended this restaurant to all.

We sat just inside restaurant, open to tables outside the main restaurant. Smoking seemed to be permitted outside thus we could have been sitting within 1 metre of someone smoking, maybe? I’d have liked to know more about smoking policies before we were seated. Otherwise, pretty good, would happily go there again.

Cote never fails to to offer good food, well cooked and presented at prices that make a great experience very affordable.

attended a meeting with a client for a late lunch. The place is very quiet and food were good. We basically had the whole corner seat for our meeting while enjoying our food.

My friends and I had a lovely time last night; we always enjoy the ambience - such a great location and vibrant atmosphere! We had a warm welcome and were given a table by the window as requested. Our main course and desserts were very good (fish cake, steak and creme caramel), however the pork terrine starter was a bit disappointing. Also, the service was not as friendly as usual and we felt a bit rushed. The restaurant was not busy and we would have preferred a longer gap between courses to enjoy a more leisurely supper. In terms of value for money, by London standards, very good indeed.

Excellent food and very good service. We were looked after so well by staff and they surprised us by bringing a little birthday cake for my husband and singing happy birthday. The restaurant is very good value and has a very lively ambience. We go there time and time again.

It was okay but nothing special, my friend and I normally go to the Cote in Market Place just behind Oxford Circus. I decided to try this branch, but found that the nice large openable windows which are a feature of this restaurant were only open one side. When I asked if the ones behind where we sitting could be opened the said that because there were people next to us they couldn't. Fair enough to a point. But it was a nice summer's evening and they should have opened the window up before people sat down to eat. The vegetarian risotto was okay but a bit too al dente for my friend's taste. The service wasn't anything exceptional so we didn't pay the absurdly high 12.5% service charge. As with all these chains they expect customers to pay a service charge without thinking . It really isn't acceptable especially when it's 12.5%.
