Nice warm welcome, friendly serving staff and lovely food at a reasonable price.

I booked to bring a colleague whose 50th birthday it was today and mentioned her birthday at point of booking. We were thrilled to be greeted with a complimentary glass of kir royale on arrival which was s lovely touch from the restaurant manager.

Staff very nice and very good service - food good. One thing let’s this restaurant down- the number of tiny flies! They are constant throughout the various seasons - they are persistant.

Cote is probably the best value and most reliable place on the highstreet

We had a ladies reunion with some ex-work colleagues for lunch. We all ordered from the Premium Set Lunch Menu. Reasonably priced for what we ate and drank. The food was all amazing and good size portions. Good thing we booked ahead, as this place can get very busy.

It’s always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant. The food and service excellent. First time we have eaten from the Premium menu and it didn’t disappoint.

The staff are charming, our server Pamela, in particular was so very efficient, remembering that I had an adversion to garlic and made sure that I had no problem. We requested a table next to the window and although the restaurant was busy the request was accommodated. Many thanks for a nice dining experience. Colin

Just 1 star down as sat right next to coffee machine which was really noisy.

The table we had requested was waiting for us and we had a most enjoyable 3-course set menu meal. The endive starter, in particular, was excellent.

Overall my party of 4 were happy with and enjoyed the experience. We regularly eat at a Cote Brassiere restaurant, often in Amersham, which has become our preferred option for eating out, particularly since we like the varied menu, the atmosphere & value for money. Service is usually very good as was the case this time. We have “marked you down” a little on food quality & thus value for money this time since the meal 3 of us ordered (Poulet Grille) was not quite as good as we’ve had before at other restaurants. It was tasty but slightly overcooked & the mushroom sauce was sparing. In saying this it did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

Food is consistent. Today I felt we were being rushed.

My dinner partner unfortunately had the wrong date in her diary. Your staff were really helpful and remedied the fact that my particular reserved table was not immediately available by giving me a Kir Royale. I moved to my chosen table, then discovered my friend was not coming after all. However everyone was friendly and I have booked another table - hopefully table 55 - for 19 November.

Very good meal. Spoiled a bit by the very cool air conditioning going full blast. Staff didn’t seem to know how to control it or turn it off.

A most enjoyable visit, greeted by friendly staff, very good service, delicious food dishes and most certainly , real value for money. We had a reserved table nicely positioned in the window and it was good to see that because it was a dry, mild autumn evening, there were some diners sitting at tables outside under the canopy. This all added to a good friendly atmosphere at the St. Christopher's Place. Top ratings all around !

Staff are friendly and the service was quick, improvement since we last came to the restaurant we waited a while for the food. The food is always good and a great quick lunch menu

Really slow service and some were half way through our meal before all guests had their food. However, once it did arrive the food was great.
