A nice place to eat, the staff is very professional and always attentive, smiling and friendly. The food is good and well prepared. In fact a restaurant as we like them.
Attentive happy staff helped our enjoyment enormously. Timing of courses was good with a prompt starter. Perfectly cooked dishes with plenty of taste and of a good portion.
I have been to a few other Cote in London, but I really liked this one because of the location. The food and ambience was on par with the others.
The was a great evening and very enjoyable. The only thing I would say is that it was not clear from the website that there was only a set menu available that evening (New Year's Eve). Saying that there was plenty of choice.
Good food and pleasant service despite he fact that the restaurant was very busy. Good location for theatre visits. Would definitely recommend in advance if possible.
Excellent service!! Food was lovely. All in all we had a really nice meal and value for money. Would def go back again and have the set menu.
Standard pre-theatre menu with minimal thrills. Took a little long for food to arrive (half hour) but didn't spoil the experience. Average & recommended considering location but not excellent.
Always great food, service and ambiance. Cote offers great value for money even better value if you get the pre theatre menu. With branches across London. You will be spoilt for choice.
The food was good and so was the service. I would recommend this restaurant. It was also good value and a convenient location in Soho
The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent, the waitress (in particular) was great despite the place being quite busy pre-theatre time.
The frissee lardon starter was disappointing and the mussels, altough tender, were very oversalted. We all enjoyed our mains and desserts were nice too. What let it down was the slapdash, distracted and slow service, despite the restaurant not being busy due to the early hour of dining. Not the experience I had hoped for based on other Cote Brasserie restaurants I have been to. It felt like we were having to work, rather than relax. A real shame.
Went there for a pre-theatre meal. The food was great, the service friendly and efficient. Thoroughly enjoyable. Would happily recommend them and would definitely go again.
The staff were delightful and attentive. There was a problem in the kitchen in the late provision of my moules, so they waived the entire cost of my meal
Mediocre food, dull dull depressing interior. It’s not what it used to be and we won’t be returning . Much better options out there !
Fab meal, great table and the food was absolutely superb! Great place to go for a pre-Xmas meal with friends. Overall another great visit to Cote Soho :-)
23 minutes after arriving we had still not ordered drinks, yet the restaurant was not full simply understaffed. We were also seated in the basement with only one other table in use and no atmosphere. This was a Christmas meal for me and my friends but we will not be hurrying back for more of this.....
Good food as always. Always a good place to eat and drink and spend some time. What else is there to say and why the need for twenty five words ?
First time at this branch of cote, have been to others and this one was just as nice. The staff were very nice and the food was really good.
We enjoyed the meal as we do at our local Cote in Muswell Hill, but as it is near Christmas it was very noisy downstairs and difficult for conversation.
Great food, Good service, which is why we come back each time. Can't ask for more than that. Also they cook a very good steak.
It was not a great visit. The foid was good. However, the service was not. We were served bad wine and the wait staff looked really confused by the request for a new bottle. It took forever to get us anything and when we did it was invariably wrong somehow. The only thing they did quickly was take half a bottle of wine from the table even though we'd paid for it.
Fabulous set menu, had a butternut squash soup, followed by a baked camembert, and a creme caramel all for under 15 pounds and if excellent quality. Incredible.
Lovely atmosphere for a Tuesday evening before Christmas. Would recommend! The pre-theatre menu is great value
Such nice staff, super friendly and they really made an effort for my birthday - free drinks and a dessert! Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Cote Brasserie is always reliably good and this visit was no exception: great food from a wide ranging menu, with attentive service and good value
Poor welcome on arrival, was not made to feel welcome, lady was quite rude. rushed and unattentive service. Only made up for by one friendly waitress.
Côte is very reliable, pleasant service (not always the fastest, but always pleasant!), nice and cozy and warm, reliably tasty food. It's a winner in my books!
Efficient and friendly service. Very reasonable fixed price menus. Classic French bistro food. My mackerel rilette was delicious. Their roast chicken are very good too!
Nice ambiance, friendly staff. Prompt and efficient service. Handy for the theatre(s) and with several menu choices. Good, if rather expensive, wine selection. Overall a pleasant start to an evening of music and drama.
The food was lovely but the place was too crowded the diners from the next table were literally next to my husband they might as well join in!
Lovely evening, although busy, enough very welcoming and attentive staff on hand. Food great and reasonably priced, look forward to another visit in the new year.
The food on the Xmas menu was cooked excellently and tasted fantastic but the portion of fish in the two main courses ordered in our group were both tiny which really let the meal down. All other main meals ordered were excellent size portions. We would have happily paid a couple of pound more for a decent size fish main meal. Come on Cote you let yourself down there!
The food at Cote Soho is appealing, the location is convenient and the staff are very professional and helpful, making for a very pleasant visit.
Very good service and food good. Good location from several tube stations. Had chicken main course and a dessert. Creme Brulee good, and chocolate musse
All had a Brilliant meal, attentive staff and lovely feel to the restaurant, although it was very busy we werent rushed or ignored by any member of staff.
Absolutely delicious food and staff very friendly. Would definitely visit again. Never let down by Cote. The Shepherds pie was to die for. No room for a desert and very reasonably priced too.
Very pleasant restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good menu with lots of choice. All our food was well cooked and attractively presented. Prices are reasonable for central London.
Good service, they made a small mistake with the order but were really fast to fix it. A little slow at sorting the bill but this was at peak time. Will go again.
Great table on the windows by the sidewalk...lovely Our server was very attentive, professional, and friendly. We live in Minneapolis USA and always visit Cote on every visit. Great location and all staff are just wonderful. Last year, we happened to mention it was our 30th wedding anniversary, and as we were leaving your staff made up a card for us and presented it to us...very nice touch! Glen and Jean
The food was very good, service was quick and the water was very polite and helpful. Our friends were served by the lady water who didn't seem very nice or and didn't even try to make any effort to serve my friends swiftly as we had a pre theater dinner
It was a watm friendly place to arrive in on a bitterly cold snowy day.The food was excellent and at a very reasonable pricr in central London. The waitress..from Spain was perfect.
Never disappointed with Cote. Lovely set menu for December and even with wine the value for money is phenomenal. Nice friendly attentive service. Will be back again soon. Thank you.
The restaurant is very conveniently situated for Shaftesbury Avenue theatre venues. The staff are very welcoming and friendly; service was very prompt, making this ideal for a pre-theatre meal. The food was excellent - overall excellent value for money and a great experience,
Great place ! Not expensive and very good ! The breakfast was good thanks again The restaurant is well placed and well decorated. I recommand ++
Great experience- Good food with good service highly recommend. A nice surprise to get a complementary drink which came pretty much as we sat down as we booked pre-theatre.
Very good place, tasty food. During this period pf the year they offer a very good menu and the staff is nice with every one.
Just the potato gratin should be bigger !! Otherwise it was excellent!! Will be back soon. The French wine and the planche charcuterie was WoW’!
Lovely restaurant, good food and nice service. Poulet Breton is a must. Located in Soho, quite near Oxford Street. I really recommend to have a dinner there
Warm welcome. Nice atmosphere. Great food. Pre theatre menu is exceptional value. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend especially for the pre theatre menu.
Pre theatre set meal. We had two courses and each of our meals was delicious and amazing value. Service was excellent and we would certainly go again in a flash.
