This restaurant gets it right. affordable food, with good service in nice surroundings.
Lovley service and food, seems as though the peach crumble wasn't as peachy as the last time. But really good all round. Will be back
Great food as always, but the soho staff is extra awesome. They went above and beyond to accommodate us today. Would recommend for a work lunch, as they are one of few in the area that take reservations.
Excellent service. Polite and efficient staff. Delicious food as always. This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff. There is a great choice of food and wine.
Very friendly but professional service. Food was well cooked and excellent value. Plus if you are looking for a pre or post Theatre meal then service very efficient and quick.
Friendly and helpful, great service, lovely food, good atmosphere, maybe a bit noisy acoustics, all good. Party of five we would go there again soon
Lovely food and service as always. The set menus are fantastic value too. Great atmosphere. Much better than many top restaurants than I’ve ever been to.
Food to good standard, nothing out of the ordinary but the ambience and attention from the waiters made it a special evening. Good value for central London.
Slightly slow service initially and no complementary water provided. Food was fine but risotto beer not as tasty as experienced at other Cote sites. Good location.
Good location, good service, good choice from the menu. No problem with the reservation of honouring the ‘sign up on-line offer’ for the bottle of wine. Will be back again when I’m in the area and even try the nearest Cotes to me based on this experience.
A very pleasant experience and attentive staff. A relaxed atmosphere and service not rushed at all. Menu varied and selection for all tastes, I would dine here again
We booked for 8.15pm however we arrived early, and we were given an earlier table. We were served by Miguel, who was very funny and really gave excellent service. We asked Miguel if we could have mushrooms even though they were not on the menu. He went and spoke to a pregnant lady, possibly a manager who came and spoke to us and told us they were not on the menu , however would check with the kitchen , and she came back said they had some breakfast mushrooms , would they be ok , we said that would be great and thanked her , the mushrooms arrived with the rest of our meal which was great, and they would be complimentary. I was amazed by the service we received from these two colleagues , as I work in a Customer service industry , and this service, trust me was exceptional , these two colleagues are a credit to the restaurant and the company. I have eaten in several Côte restaurants in London and Brighton, four years ago when we all came for my husbands fiftieth birthday in another one of your restaurants near Covent Garden and I had not told the restaurant it was a birthday celebration and one of your waitresses overheard my party talking about the special birthday and at dessert time came out with a chocolate brownie with candle and sang happy birthday, Again exceptional service, whatever you do with you colleagues , I would say carry on doing it !! These Two colleagues made our evening and if you have a recognition award process, I would suggest that you reward them Well.
As always the food was delicious and good service, but we sat looking at a huge pile of rubbish sitting outside on the pavement but maybe that's normal in Soho.
Another great night at Côte. Superb service above and beyond.
Once again, Cotê get it just right. I've not visited this branch before, but found the good food and friendly service was equal to that of my favourite venue (Cotê Islington). My friend and I had the pre theatre menu which was first class.
Waiter was helpful and courteous throughout our meal. We had a lovely table in the corner with good lighting and atmosphere. We would visit again.
It was a fast and efficient service with delicious light food for pre theatre visit. Would recommend . Enjoyed our St German gin and tonic.
Nothing special! We went to this place to have breakfast, only two of us. Drinks came straight away but we had to wait 30 minutes to get our food! Way too long for only two dishes. Average London prices, good value for money.
Nice choice of menu, ideal for dinner before the theatre!
Waiter was lovely! Welcoming, friendly and checked if everything was okay/did we need anything etc. Mains & desserts were very good. Soho food is consistently good and a great atmosphere. One of my favourite branches
My last experience was not a good one. I rated it accordingly. They are back to 100% so get top marks on this visit on all sides.
The food was good and very reasonably priced for the West End of London. The service was friendly and I found making a reservation quite simple.
Pretty good once it got underway. Waited to be be seated despite reservation. Service was lax until we pointed out we had a theatre booking to meet.... All worked out well as soon as the food and drink arrived. Four of the party were new to Cote and finally won over by the food which came up to standard we have come to expect. Feel sure we will all be back!
Very nice 2 course meal from the pre theatre menu. Staff were very helpful and service was good. I would visit this restaurant again if in the area.
Friendly reception excellent service very helpful when we couldn’t decide which wine to choose. Food was delivered quickly and was delicious . Lovely experience and will go again.
We love Cote. We were very fortunate to be beckoned in by staff on their pre-opening staff training day a number of years ago. When we recently returned it was just as good as that first time. Stylish premises. Attentive and friendly staff. And of course great food.
The set meal is amazing value for money. The steak frites was delicious. We had a table next to the open window at the front so a lovely breeze and people watching. Service was brilliant. Faultless experience.
Grea t foo d and grea t servic e, also they really looke d after my m um, whos e birth day it wa s.
Excellent lunch and made the better by my table preference by the window observed. This meant we could eat indoors but with all the windows open. Very good menu offering everyone many choices. All the food was delicious as was the wine and the bill had no great shocks so a good time was had by one and all.
friendly service, nice food! Forgot to ask for the name of our waiter but he was very friendly and also gave recommendation on drinks so overall happy with our lunch today.
One of my favourite restaurants in London. While the restaurant was busy it wasn’t too noisy and loud unlike some restaurants. Very friendly staff with good service. Food is good as always.
Good swift service before the theatre. As usual, Cote offers a menu with something for everybody although it would be nice if there were more seasonal dishes.
We had the three course pre theatre menu and it was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient and we were service at a nice pace without having to rush to go to the theatre
We have eaten several times in the Cote Brasserie restaurants in St Martin’s Lane and Covent Garden. This was our first visit here. The service was very good. However we didn’t find the standard of the food as good as the other two restaurants.
I had the set menu - rustic pâté to start, sea bream to follow and crème caramel to finish. Service v. good but a lot of loud, noisy customers!
We had very friendly waiters (turned the music volume down when I asked!), the food was very good and the atmosphere happy. It was also well situated from the Underground station.
Would highly recommend this branch. Lovely staff at this branch, very welcoming. Food over all was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely. My boyfriend had a lovely birthday.
We had the pre theatre set dinner. Our order was taken without delay by a charming and friendly Spanish waitress. We were served quickly as we had explained that we needed to get to the London Paladium to see a show. We had the three course dinner which we enjoyed and thought it was great value for money, as always with Cote Brasserie.
A great evening. Fabulous service and great food. Great value too.
Reliable and tasty food as always. Perfect pre-theatre restaurant, with prompt and friendly service. It’s good to note that all gratuities go directly to all the staff.
Was an enjoyable night but the service has unfortunately gone down in being attentive. You are left with your plate empty for quite some time, never used to be the case. I would rather be asked if I want a break before the next course than being left with an empty plate and feel that we may have been forgotten
Excellent staff that really made a difference, not too intrusive but there when you wanted them, very friendly and polite. Enjoyed the menu. A vegetarian in our group who had a good choice.
Good atmosphere snd great service. The food was excellent and the £12:95 menu was very good value. Pleasant surroundings pleasant staff. We’d booked a table in advance and were quickly and efficiently shown to our table. We will return
Superb as usual. The management and waiting staff are excellent. The food is always of a high standard.
Relaxed atmosphere and good food in a very central location.
We went there after the theatre we had a great time the food and the service was excellent. It as my birthday 🎂 and they gave me a dessert. Highly recommend
Great service and consistently good food. Excellent location for all that Soho has to offer and is the perfect before and after show restaurant. Thanks again.
We booked a table for six. Nicely greeted and overall very good service and all the food was very nice. The atmosphere was good too.
Great lunch with excellent service, very good food and the restaurant is lovely. There’s also a good range of choice on the menu. Highly recommend!
Good value pre theatre menu. Food of a good standard and decent portions. Good riendly service. Food served fairly quickly so no stress about getting to the theatre afterwards.
