I’m a regular at Cote. Best value in town. Amazing quality. Great staff. Never try and get you to leave to free up tables. Hardly bother to go anywhere else these days. Cote have got everything absolutely right. Thank you.

We went as a pre-theatre dinner so opted for a set menu. Food was amazing for a set menu; service first class and we didn’t feel rushed - def would go there again

Good pre dinner venue as quick service. Had to ask for set price menu & server made big deal of checking his watch re the time - it was 6pm & the offer doesn’t finish until 7pm. It could have made some people feel uncomfortable. Why advertise it on website if reluctant to offer it ?

I quite frequently visit this branch as it is convenient and we can have a relaxed meal without being pressured to move on. There were two set lunch menus today but we opted for the prestige one as the cheaper one looked a bit boring, especially the desserts. The beetroot salad, pork and coupe noir were delicious. The restaurant was quite crowded and very noisy at times but comfortable. The only negative was the poor state of the ladies toilet. One stall was flooded, there was little toilet paper and it looked unchecked.

I can’t believe this but I have no choice but to express my feelings tonight! First of all I ordered this month special starter which is the gravelax, it was just a few slices of salmon with dill and capers... I’m not sure it was even cured! No bread or anything to go with it. Not amused. But I had it anyways. The main course came and to me shock, it was cold! I can’t believe the chefs would serve cold food. We sent it back and was told it would and the chef would make another and it would take about 10 mins. We got the second plate and again..... it was COLD! We called the manager over and told her to fee the food. She relished it was cold like it had just come out of the fridge. I can’t believe we had to send the food back twice. In the end we decided not to have anything else. Sending the meal back twice is not what I expect from Cote. We have dined i the soho branch for over three years and have never been disappointed. I’m not sure what is going. This is not the normal staff that know us and I’m wondering if all the kitchen staff have also changed.... and not for the better The manger was very nice and offered us a free meal on our next trip. We will think about going back. It would be good customer service is coming from the office and not the branch would contact me to take about this mishap. Regards Trevor Cruickshank

There were 9 of us dining and the food was, generally, good but, unfortunately, there was a shortage of champagne flutes so our Kir Royale’s were served in wine glasses. We asked for Southern Comfort - but you didn’t have any, we asked for a rum, but you didn’t have any. I would have thought most restaurants /bars would serve such drinks.

Great menu choices. We really enjoyed our food. Our server's English was not good enough. She could not process requests for bread or side plates. Value was good and our reservation process was smooth.

We come to cote all the time so thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate my mums 65th. Sadly, today's service was not good at all. 1) We had to ask twice for water for the table, a portion of fries for the kids were forgotten (after they waited a LONG time for their meals) so had to be asked for twice , and my mum asked for a side of vegetables as we started our main which never arrived. 2) We bought a bottle of prosecco to toast to my mum as a treat and it was served at room temperature - very unpleasant! We were also given wine glasses not prosecco glasses which made the already warm bubbles feel a lot less luxurious. We felt thus showed a lack of experience/knowledge from the waitress who seemed to be struggling a bit. 3) Also, the staples which we usually go for which are usually delicious (pork tenderloin and breton chicken) were both dry and flavourless. 4) We were seated next to the clearing area where bottles and plates were being chucked around noisily most of the evening. All in all, a really disappointing experience from one of our favourite places to eat which usually blows us away with tasty food and excellent service (of which we had neither today!)

Service was quick and friendly, food and wine delicious. Really don’t think you can beat three delicious courses for £15.50 on the lunch/pre-theatre menu. Have only deducted one star on the food as the first mouthful or two of steak was a little chewy, but the rest great. Think it’d hadn’t been tested very long, although that’s better than it arriving at the table cold! Thank you.

Absolutely enjoyed every minute of our night out! Granted we dined on a Monday night, Soho was lively, and Cote was smack in the middle of it. Great 4 top right in the window. Perfectly spaced tables. Wait staff was attentive and fun. The prawn appetizer and spinach/mushroom crepes were amazing. My daughter and husband had french onion soup which they very much enjoyed. They are light on cocktail choices, but if you are wine drinkers, then all good. Otherwise they serve basic vodka, rum, whiskey, gin....The food was fantastic. The price was perfect. The ambiance and staff were excellent! Thanks Cote!

It’s fair to say that I LOVE Cote Brasserie. Today I went with two friends and I had the French onion soup which was amazing followed by delicious steak and chips and washed down with a bottle of Merlot! The service is always great too. Thank you!

Pre-theatre dinner on a busy Saturday night. Steak frites tasty & freshly cooked. Cod good if a little bland. Good Ice cream but dark chocolate pot a disappointment - grainy & missing the promised creme fraiche. However, service was first class thanks to the utterly charming Christiane.
