A very relaxed and pleasant dining experience with pleasant and attentive staff.
Lovely staff, fantastic food. Prestige menu was delicious, many thanks for a lovely night. Can’t wait to visit again.
Time between courses was too long. I do not want to be rushed but 45 minutes between starter and mains too long
We were 3 adults and 2 children pre-matinee round the corner. We had prebooked and we’re given a nice table but there was nowhere to put coats so we had them all squashed up with us. Orders were taken and served quickly although the salad/veg with the salmon was oily and tasteless. Puddings took an age to arrive and it was complicated that we wanted two puddings from the cheaper menu. The other way round I could have understood. The chocolate pot was very grainy and unpleasant but all the other puddings were good. It was convenient for the theatre but wasn’t quite as good as I’d hoped.
Lovely as ever. Good food, good atmosphere and excellent staff. Thanks.
Great food, efficient and friendly service - and a reasonable price. What's not to like!
Great food great atmosphere pleasant staff no waiting times great evening thank you
Normally service in Cotes restaurants is quick and prompt, but for the first time ever we had to forego a desert as there just wasn’t time. We arrived on time and the restaurant wasn’t packed, but it was a long time waiting for our orders to be taken. I don’t know what went wrong, perhaps there weren’t enough staff in our part of the restaurant, and food was slower to come too, but it’s the first time I have been disappointed with Cotes. We had to ask for the bill and leave as we were in danger of being late for the theatre despite having booked our tab,e for 5.30
We always enjoy Cote. This didn’t disappoint. Warm welcome from front of house, good table service and excellent food! Especially enjoyed the Normandie mussels with leeks. The blood orange martini was rather good too!
Very good, staff were very helpful and friendly, meal was excellent, perfect for a pre-theatre dinner
We really enjoyed our early evening pre-theatre meal. The fixed price set menus were extremely good value, and the food was good quality and arrived without too much delay. I was thrilled with the little extra touches as a birthday treat - much appreciated.
Great food and service as always and very efficient despite it being crazy busy
Lovely restaurant, food and atmosphere. The 3 of us had the pre-theatre menu and all the food was delicious - French onion soup, calamari, poached egg followed by the homemade pasta and steak frites. And creme caramel!! Love Cote restaurants.
Lovely food. Service quite slow for a theatre menu. When I chose not to pay the optional service charge, the waitress questioned me why. I found this embarrassing and rude.
Dropped into Cote for early dinner before going to Ronnie Scott's. Always a good option, prompt service, and a good choice of French bistro style meals from their 2 course pre-theatre dinner at GBP12.95 good value.
Very pleasant experience. Nice atmosphere, good food and friendly staff.
Everything was very good apart from my steak which unfortunately was tough. I think I may have been unlucky on this occasion.
II would give 5/6 overall but for the fact that we, a group of five 'young old' men, were quite cramped around a horseshoe- shaped table. It was impossible not to inadvertedly rub knee-to-knee, which was not ideal. I had reserved a table in advance, advising our 'profile'. Otherwise everything was fine, and the service we received was superb.
Lovely waiter and service despite a busy evening! The free wine was also so tasty we ordered and paid for a second - thank you!
We booked an early dinner as we had theatre tickets and we wanted to take advantage of the free bottle of wine in January offer. We were initially told that we couldn’t have this as there was no voucher attached to our booking email but after our waitress spoke to the manager, this was quickly resolved. Our food was absolutely delicious and was served promptly. I often go to Cote as it’s reliably excellent in terms of quality and service.
Great food, service and prices! Will definitely be back again.
Food quite bland and tasteless. Needed seasoning. Service also quite slow
Ideal for pre-matinee lunch. They seemed a little short of serving staff which meant that service was a little on the slow side. This didn't matter at all to us, as we had plenty of time, but it might have been a problem had we been more pushed for time. However the staff were very friendly and eager to please and the food was excellent.
Love Cote, love the menu, love the people. Many thanks for a great pre-theatre dinner.
As always Cote last night was consistent in quality, value and presentation. Excellent selection of dishes on the menu, very reasonably priced and served piping hot by friendly staff.
We enjoyed a three course meal and availed ourselves of the free bottle of merlot wine. The food was delicious and the service was prompt without being pushy. Altogether a very good experience at a very reasonable price.
An enjoyable experience. Friendly and attentive staff. Great value for money.
Welcoming waitress. Nothing too much trouble. Service fantastic. Food cooked to perfection. Pre theatre lunch - made the day one to remember.
Great food, tasty and good portion sizes Friendly service. Excellent value.
Nice food, friendly staff, fair pricing. Had a nice relaxed dinner.
Great food, excellent offer of complimentary wine. Very pleasant staff.
An 80th Birthday Party for my former PA and former colleagues. Everything was superb from initial booking through to the evening itself. A perfect evening to mark a very special birthday for a very special lady. Thank you to everyone. We eat at this branch of Cote regularly and are never disappointed. Wonderful, attentive staff and good managers who always remember us and make sure that we are very well looked after. We’ll be back!
We did enjoy our stay in Soho, food was good and also the service.
warm welcome, food came very quick and was superb. amazing value for central london will be going again very soon.
Food quality is always good. Our waitress was lovely. Good value for central London and a great menu.
Great service and food! Thank you for everything! What a great place
The food was brilliant and the price was unbeatable, but we had to work hard to get what we wanted! I had an offer for kir royale for the table that came with theatre tickets. Two members of the party did not drink alcohol so I asked if there was an alternative - the waiter said no, despite my having seen an offer for free dry-January cocktails on Facebook earlier that day. We were given the a la carte menus but, when asking for the kir royale, I showed the price advertised for the set menus. I asked again and we were given set menus - but the 'prestige' rather than pre-theatre. This came across as manipulative as it was a higher price than that I'd come for. I had hoped for a more seamless experience. We ordered but it was not repeated back to us - perhaps this is why one of our starters was incorrect. A different member of staff brought the correct dish. At the end of the meal we were not brought our bill for over 7 minutes since asking - so we asked another member of staff - who had spent a significant amount of time combining tables together quite noisily nearby. Fortunately the food was excellent and, by the end, our server had struck up a rapport with us. He also masterfully dealt with mopping up after knocking over a full glass. But the diner should not have to be so alert! Thank goodness we were in no hurry. I'll be back but will feel less relaxed than I would want.
I love Cote, and have eaten in your restaurants more times than I care to remember but yesterday evening was not the most memorable visit. I had booked fir 6pm as we were going to the theatre. When we asked to order, the waitress (who was perfectly nice) said there was not enough time to have two courses from the pre-theatre menu, which was annoying. We settled on some bread and saussison followed by two mains. I was also charged fir an extra glass if wine which never arrived. I had paid the bill before I noticed that but didnt have enough time to take it up with the staff. In the end i spent over £100 - about double my budget for pre-theatre supper. Grrrrr.
Quite disappointed in the set menu, not even worth describing how pitiful it was. Would literally go anywhere else. PS avoid the chocolate pot at all costs, almost made us sick at the table
Great food as always. Never had a bad experience at any Cote.
Excellent service and delicious food! Thank you to the service staff and chefs for getting everything spot on!
Friendly, attentive staff and good food make Cote Soho a nice place for a relaxed, informal meal.
Friendly staff , lovely food, situated well for the theatre, would book again if I visited in future. Had the prestige set menu which was a great price for London, and must say the creme caramel was fantastic.
Our party of 4 had an excellent pre theatre dinner at Cote Soho. Our server, Tatianna, was so efficient and accommodated a special request for us with no hesitation.
Fantastic service from all staff and did not feel rushed at all while at the same time not forgotten about. Amazing for the price
We really enjoy coming here. The food is excellent and the prices very reasonable.
