Côte Soho

The restaurant were beyond kind marking my birthday with free kir royal and a free dessert which was delicious. Thanks so much Côte Soho for a great time.

Staff were great - food was not. We love Cote but tonight was grim. Cold and ill prepared food, but the manager took a big chunk off the bill so we left disappointed but not cross. Everyone has an off night although having eaten in many different Cotes this one is persistently poor in terms of the food which is a shame because everything else is good.

Lovely food and service, we had the Prestige Set Menu, great value for money. Atmosphere great, central location, convenient for theatre land too! Definitely return again !

We are ALWAYS exceptionally well looked after at Cote. The staff are always super friendly, very knowledgeable and cheerful. You always have everything on the menu and the range of dishes on the menu is always extensive. We love coming to Cote - you know you'll always leave happy.

A regular haunt for me and my friends! Only one small piece of constructive criticism - the waiter didn’t offer the set menu until we asked for it (and my friends I don’t think would have been aware so would have automatically ordered from the A La Carte). It feels like it’s part of the sales strategy. That’s all! :-)

Lovely service, delicious as always at Cotes. One of my favourite Cotes, definitely one to visit in W1. Chicken is a safe bet, always tasty and the garlic bread is lovely.

Great food, yummy free cocktail and excellent service at a very reasonable price. The quality of the lamb was exceptional and perfectly cooked to my request. Will be back !

The food was excellent. We all had the luncheon special menu. Great choices. Miguel, our waiter, was probably the most attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff member that I have ever met at a Cote. He should be commended.

Good food with very pleasant and obliging staff. Central location so easy to find. We use Côte a lot as it’s always good value and you know you will get decent food. Plus, we are never rushed to move on....very important!

Very enjoyable as always. Particularly liked the blood orange martini, especially as it was part of the February offer and therefore free! Buzzing atmosphere too though it can get a bit noisy.

A nice friendly welcome, our waitor did everything he could do to make our meal special, which was great as we were celebrating our Anniversary, but he did not know this. He kindly held back our mains as my son and wife had not arrived at the restaurant as they were in another cote not too far away by mistake. All the food was amazing as usual, and really enjoyed the special Gin cocktail of the month. The Pork dish special was so yummy. The crepe suzette came out alight and was delicious.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is always excellent and well presented. I recommend trying the specials (that change) that is why we keep going back, it’s really worth it

Food (chicken) was very tasty, complimentary cocktail delicious and service excellent. Great location for Soho and very reasonably priced. Will certainly be back very soon. Recommend for pre theatre.

Allowing the fact that the restaurant is in Soho, the waiting staff were surly although MD was welcoming. Food was average but I have had much better at other Cote restaurants. Unlikely to use the Soho branch again

Fantastic gluten free menu, really appreciated the extra effort to make sure it's safe for coeliacs like me. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. We'll definitely be coming back.

It was such a lovely experience once again. Good quality in a very nice atmosphere.

Overall a lovely restaurant experience as usual. Our waiter was charming and happy to let us spend a long evening catching up at our own pace. I had a free bottle of wine as a special offer which was good. We enjoyed the bread and olives and both main courses were tasty however my lamb had a fair amount of gristle and the sea bass should have come with potatoes at £15. Dessert and coffee excellent and we will definitely return.

I'm often in this restaurant the food Amazing staff too very kind and helpful also manger yesterday was great after I order my main dishes was lamp so hard my dice choose good small lamp and again thk manger and all staff

I only had one bad experience but the management acted very fast to regain my trust in a great restaurant with welcoming and very professional staff. I visit Cote A lot and it’s remarkable when staff recognise this with a warm greeting. The food is amazing and I’m back at least once a week with different friends who have now become regulars too.

Hi When we had lunch, we asked for a large glass of wine. The wine arrived and it was very small. We queried it and were told that this was 250ml. That definitely was not true. We also ordered bread, it looked like the ends of a loaf. Very small. It was not the usual standard you would expect from Cote. Also, we ordered filet steak. It which was tough. There was also. confusion with the meal. We noticed our food went to another table. It turned up but it Tasted ok but tough. It wasn’t a great experience. We’ve been to Cote Soho numerous times, but we will most likely not return until the food and service improves. Regards Paul Toomey

Having eaten in the Guildford Cote branch we had expected a really nice experience in the Soho branch on Saturday evening, but we were very very disappointed!! It was really bad. 1/ Food was served far too quickly. Not exactly a relaxing 3 course meal!! 2/ Starter Portion of moules was very small! 3/ Peppercorn sauce with steak tasted like washing up liquid!. It was changed and we were advised that we would not be charged for replacement sauce!! 4/ Chicken in Breton meals (2) was dry. Don't think we'll be going back anytime soon! Poor review will follow on Tripadvisor, Google etc. Richard Baird

The atmosphere was very relaxed even though it was busy and the food was good quality and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and cheerful. I will definitely be back.

Very good staff! The pre- theatre menu has a good choice. Also liked the Art Deco style of the restaurant

Well up to the usual expected Cote standards. Good value tasty food served by friendly,polite, attentive steff whgo took all the stress out of a pre=theatre timetable. Well done keep it up.

Brilliant food and service. Had a great birthday celebration there. I could bring my own cake and all the staff were singig happy birthday to me. It was so touching! Food was amazing! Thanks for nice experience.

Another very enjoyable meal. You can always be sure of good food and good service. The gin cocktail was lovely and I dont even like gin as a rule. Looks forward yo my next visit

Fab evening! Great food and superb staff! Chicken Liver Parfait and then the Pork Belly was a great combination. St Germain Gin was a great start to the evening.

Another lovely evening in the Wardour St branch. We came early (5p.m) and had a delicious complimentary French 75. ( great idea to do this!) I chose vegan puy lentil stew from the Vegetarian menu and my meat eating companion had half a chicken. All beautifully tasty and well presented. Service was speedy and charming and the house wine is well priced. A very clever Chain that gives you the feeling of a French based dinner at a very good price.

Good value pre theatre food with good service and convenient

I really enjoyed the the three course meal. It was full of flavour and very tasty. The portions were very good and the service was excellent. The ambiance is good and I was left having a very good experience. One thing I would like to add is that I've eaten at cotes on many occasions now and the soho branch is my favourite. I do think it time to revamp the menu as it doesn't seem to have changed at all over the last couple of years. Being a French barsserie I think they could move more with the sessionss and have some specials together with the house menu. After speaking with friends who also enjoy Cotes they all have said the same thing. TIME TO REVAMP THE MENU.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Cote Soho. The food was tasty and the staff were v attentive. Great service. We definitely recommend a visit. Very well managed.

Just a couple of things we had to bring to their attention on the bill at the end. I think the waiters were all rushed off their feet at the beginning of our time there. However everyone was especially helpful and great communicators! The food was of the usual high standard and good value.

Great meal experience. Good value for money. Staff excellent and offered top level service, especially as our group arrived in dribs and drabs.

Never had a bad meal at Cote anywhere in the Country and Wardour Street is one of the best

The usual great service in Soho helped by enthusiastic young staff. Oh and by the way the best pork belly ever.(as usual) Complimentary wine offer much appreciated and it was good quality unlike other offers around town.

Nice food, nice desert with in normal range and service was quite good. We could have a choice of our seat in the back side of the restaurant.

We visited for breakfast - delicious meal, excellent service. Crepe was great and coffee perfect. A shame all of the tables were seated close together at the front of the restaurant, would've been nice to have a bit more privacy as the rest of the restaurant was empty.

Cote Soho is my favourite because it’s much more cosier compared to the others I’ve been to but that’s just a personal preference as each branch provides a good service regardless. The male waiter at the welcome desk gave a warm and excellent service and was very kind to ask which seat I would prefer to seat as I was on a date. The waitress serving our food was also very kind and checked up on our table once or twice which I love because other restaurants will ask countless times “how are you enjoying your food while you have you mouth full?” Lovely atmosphere Food was great Service was great Price is good Overall, a lovely experience. I would recommend. The dessert menu is a must have!

Not a great experience, waiters weren’t attentive, and all over the place; didn’t seem to understand what we had ordered, just not a great experience here

Excellent, especially the knowledge and service given to one of our group who is coeliac. Staff were friendly and efficient, food and service very good. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Excellent choice for a pre-theatre dinner. The service was very good as was the food. A good variety of choices on the early-evening set menu which suited both me and my daughter. The service was prompt but perhaps almost too quick with the mains after our starters. Good portion size. Perhaps a bit of bread with starters would have been nice. A really nice offer with the theatre tickets was a complimentary Kir Royale and a non-alcoholic version for my daughter! Had a great time!

Food was good and staff were good and overall it was good. Good stuff all around. I thought the attitude and customer service of the staff was good too.
