Good service and friendly staff. The food was good and plenty of options avaialble. Would recommend as a good option for a balance between excellent food and affordability
Our waitress was wonderful. Carried on after someone had closed a drawer on her finger, breaking her nail!! Star girl! We were offered a choice of 3 tables, will be back.
Excellent Service and food. We had pre-theatre meal - steak and frites plus desserts. Food good value and well cooked and cheerful staff. Only negative was that I thought I would get a rib eye steak in place aof a minute steak but they warned me it would take 20 to 25 minutes - for a medium cooked steak I would suggest they reconsider cooking time because if you cook that for 25 mins you are going to have a pile of burnt ash!
Amazing evening tonight, staff were awesome and made my birthday special. Lovely food and pre theatre menu is so good, 3x courses for £13. Highly recommended!
We had the pre theatre set menu and the dishes were delicious. I registered on their website and got a free bottle of wine, so we had a lovely meal at a really good price!
Friendly service and delicious food. Nice to get a free kir for my birthday. The bill was more expensive than we were expecting because of drinks.
A nice relaxed atmosphere.Tables not to close together which made conversation easy and nice not hearing the conversation on the next table. The set menu was very good value and ideal for lunch.
Superb service, great choice of food on their 3 course menu, all items well presented and tasty. Don't sit in the back room of this restaurant though no windows and the air con causes a wind tunnel!
Fabulous welcome, great window seat. Amazing food and staff as always. Recommend the breton chicken and tarte Tatin. Cote is great value and love going there.
Good food, good service, good location. Dinner before theatre and this was idea as quick and efficient without feeling rushed. Slightly noise especially the large table behind us. Would go back.
Food good but the room was very noisey. This seems a problem with all Cote restaurants I have been in recently. Similar issue in Norwich and Tavistock Strret branch. You have to shout to have a conversation!! Having high background music does not help. You need more carpets and sound stopping fixtures and fittings.
Great location, affordable & tasty food. Th staff were also very accommodating despite all our queries and dieting demands when changed our mind/ fancied something different.
Consistently good food at a reasonable price! Have now eaten at 4 different Cotes in London and they are all excellent. Really good choices on the set lunch menu.
Todo estaba muy bueno,la soupe a l'iognon buenisima. Quizá el local un poco oscuro para cenar. Destacar la atención de miguel el camarero q nos atendió muy amablemente ante nuestras dudas
We arrived an hour early and they did everything they could to accommodate us without any fuss. Friendly and professional service. Always a favourite. As is every branch of Cote.
We had a lovely lunch and felt we were very well looked after. The food was delicious and the waitress efficient. It was also good value.
Really friendly staff and enjoyed the food too. Can't wait to go again. Great value for money and would certainly recommend this as a place to eat.
A disappointing experience. Very slow and inattentive staff Meant we waited and waited. For food, for drinks, for the bill. Also, don't go for the haddock.
Good value, nice food, excellent service. Reliable go-to chain restaurant with plenty of choice and feels a bit more upmarket than other chains at similar prices.
Very warm welcome. Excellent waiting staff. Quality of food and choice of menu excellent. Reasonably priced. Extensive wine list. Highly recommend for an evening out.
I was impressed with the cheerful and friendly staff who were most welcoming and attentive. The menu is straight forward and there is a good choice of food A la carte or fixed price. In all, a very good operation and a most enjoyable lunch. Thank you!
Nice food which was served reasonably quickly by friendly people. Was good that we were able to book a table on line for pre-theatre dinner.
Great service waitress super very polite and friendly. Restaurant quaint clean good location centre of Soho. Food always great - never had a bad meal
Fantastic food and service - highly recommended. Pre theatre menu with steak frites and apple crumble was delicious. They even gave me a wine bucket to put my flowers in! Felt authentically French!
Cote is best chain of reasonably priced French restaurants in uk and we eat in them often. Food wine ambiance and service excellent as always.
Warm friendly welcome. Sherine, our waitress, was fantastic. Great energy. Food excellent as always. Central location makes this perfect for a West End night out!
Not impressed. Service was slow and unfriendly especially as the restaurant seemed very quiet. The food was disappointing and poor. Having been to other Cote restaurants this was not the usual standard.
Pleasant ambience with friendly waiteress. Food good and pretheatre dinner menu attractively priced. A la carte menu reasonably extensive for those unhappy with the prefixe theatre one. Main grievance is the 12.5% service charge; 10% would be more appropriate. However, would recommend Cote as a pleasing venue.
Great lunch experience. Family friendly and the staffs were very nice and helpful. Good lunch set menu choice as well. Will definitely come again soon.
We had a reservation for 7 and we all were extremely happy after dinner. Very very friendly service, good food, good wines and definitely a place where you can go with our "own wallet".
Lovely staff, quick service. Food is really good, have not had anything less than surprisingly good across starters, mains and desserts. Great location for Soho and access to major London sites.
As always very busy but staff were polite and helpful. Food excellent. One dish was not to my friend's liking so it was replaced without quibble and without charge.
Our party of 4 all really enjoyed the pre-theatre menu. This was our first time on a London Cote as we all live near Brighton and we were pleased to find the same standards of welcome, service and food. We enjoyed our free bottle of white wine for having enrolled for the Rewards scheme but were disapponted with the red having decided to treat ourselves and pay the full £25ish price for it. Nevertheless a very enjoyable meal.
Very good service . Food good but soup too thick and desserts not up to usual standard. Look forward to next visit in the near future.
Friendly staff, quick service, tasty food. There was no waiting around, which is ideal for a working lunch, yet there was no feeling of being rushed either. Simple unpretentious menu serving tasty classics well cooked.
We really enjoyed it here. The food was a bit better than the one in Kings Rd the other day but it was still great there none the less. This visit to the Soho one though convinced me to go again and I'm currently arranging a bigger party meal here because of the 3 course £14 menu. Very good food indeed. Thanks.
visited this evening for the theatre menu. Food was excellent as usual and the value of the set menu is exceptional. However, what marks cote out above other places is the exceptional service. Thank you Julie and Claudia for, as usual, making our time with you an experience to be repeated.
We were greeted on arrival and taken straight to our table. The staff couldn't have been more efficient and although very busy had time to chat. Food delicious as always.
Nice restaurant at the heart of busy Soho serving traditional French dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. The set menu offers a very good choice of starters, mains and delicious desserts. I recommend the steak frites for main and chocolate mousse or creme caramel for dessert. Very good value for money.
The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and had a good atmosphere. Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff who provided a smooth service. Great drinks and a great pre theatre menu.
Usually the staff and service are wonderful but today only average. Shame as was introducing someone to cote. Told wine choice not available when further checks it was. Forgot the side. Forgot the water.
good location & service. Always something on the menu I can eat. Fixed price lunch menu is good value for money esp as the menu changes seasonally
Prompt and attentive service. Pre theatre menu used. Good food, good value and well presented. Menu had a good range of choices, and house wine was pleasant.
A great experience, staff could be more alert Re clients needs rather than tending to routine matters etc. Food as always delicious and prices spot on.
We found the restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent value from the re-theatre menu, which we used. As location was very close to the theatre. We would definitely go there again and would recommend Cote our friends when they are in London.
Booked as celebration meal for party of 4. Was on day trip to London and booked table a week in advance. Had never been to Cote before but thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was delicious, service was excellent, not too rushed and overall good value for money. Will definitely visit again.
We had a good meal and a complimentary cote du rhone red wine served right temperature, The sword fidh was good. I would recommend the restarant. Also we had a good choice of tables where we could dine.
Excellent - service was a little slow but they had a new waitress so this is why it was delayed. The place was busy and they did their best to serve good food !
Good service but sadly my steak which was ordered rare was well done and the duck breasts were cold and tough. But our starters of moules marinieres and blood orange with fennel was excellent.
Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Great location for all the West End theatres, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square. Would recommend.
