Côte Soho

The food was ok. The service was a little too slow. Biggest problem is the noise. As commented on recently in the media, restaurant noise is becoming a problem because of the use of hard furnishings. Because of this we would not choose to return to this restaurant.

Miguel the Spanish waiter was awesome! Food was great and the set menu value was amazing. Great place for a stop after a day of shopping!

Great position, and despite the obvious overhead costs not cramped (unlike Covent Garden). Friendly staff and usual good food. Excellent start to an evening out.

Usual high standard from Cote in busy Soho. Larger restaurant inside than it seemed on outside. Convenient for Shaftesbury Lane theatre land . Friendly efficient staff.

Excellent and enthusiastic service. The gluten free menu was perfect for my wife who has coeliac disease. The pre-theatre menu is excellent value. Everything was was well presented

We had a lovely dinner in the Soho branch to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and served promptly. They even surprised us with a birthday cake for dessert and a rendition of Happy Birthday. Would highly recommend.

Ryan. Our Waiter was helpful and engaging from the start and was keen to please us at all stages of the meal. If one or two things didnt go exactly as planned he was quick to step in and try to correct what was wrong eve n when it was not his fault. Cant really find any reason not to be satisfied when someone works hard to make everything good for you.

What an excellent experience I've had tonight. Every one of the staff were very friendly and polite. They obviously have a good company philosophy on behaviour. Tasty food and drink. No waiting times. I'll return there soon.

My first visit and sent the steak back as couldn't chew it even though it was medium rare. No tissue in the ladies. Run out of Jack Daniels. Not impressed

The service was extremely slow, 45 mins after arriving we received our starters and 20 mins between courses was way too long. Portion sizes left us all craving fast food when we left.

Absolutely splendid lunch. The waiter was superb - fast, efficient and friendly. He was able to interact with all the customers with considerable skill and good natured humour. Well done!

Lovely, friendly and attentive waitress. Had the pre-theatre menu (extra bonus- had a free Kir Royale by showing our theatre tickets for Aladdin), food was excellent and very good value. Highly recommend

Cote is my favourite chain of restaurants. The food is always excellent quality and super tasty. I love the atmosphere and have always found the staff friendly and accommodating.

Was treated exceptionally well on our visit, and my friend's birthday was made a big deal of. Though extremely busy, our food was served quickly, and was delicious.

Had to send main course back as it wasn't hot, but got complimentary drinks Instead. Waiter was slightly foxy. Menu wasn't as nice as usual.

We are a Cote fan because whichever branch we go they are excellent with our daughter's food. Our daughter is anaphylactic to peanuts and is allergic to dairy and egg. The staff is always excellent and it was no exception at the Soho branch. The food is pretty good too!

Last night we had fantastically attentive service that was not at all intrusive and the food was excellent. We will be back again soon as we can!

This place has friendly staff, good food, nice ambience - what's not to like. We both had the steak frites and for each of us it was cooked to perfection

Staff became aware it was my wife's birthday and went out of there way to make our dinner a special occasion. The meals for the four of us were excellent and excellent value for money. Will definitely be back on a future trip to London.

The manager was especially helpful. The food was excellent and the service was also very good. All in all a pleasant evening and we'll definitely go again.

Excellent and had Happy Birthday sung to us by three members of staff. V helpful staff. Would however like the ability to slightly change ingredients for example: l ordered a crepe with spinach, cheese and mushrooms but mushrooms don't agree with me and on request that this be omitted from the crepe they couldn't do it as they are pre prepared.

As with the other Cotes that we've been to, the food was very good and the service excellent. The food arrived quickly, despite the restaurant being busy. Good atmosphere too.

Friendly service and delicious food. Nice to get a free kir for my birthday. The bill was more expensive than we were expecting because of drinks.

Superb service, great choice of food on their 3 course menu, all items well presented and tasty. Don't sit in the back room of this restaurant though no windows and the air con causes a wind tunnel!

Service was very slow. We were not offered a second course on the pre theatre menu, but we were charged for a two course meal. We had to wait to get the bill, then wait to pay, so that we had to rush to the theatre.

Good service and friendly staff. The food was good and plenty of options avaialble. Would recommend as a good option for a balance between excellent food and affordability

When I walked in 13.55 for my booking of 3, I saw 50% estimated busy restaurant and have to wait 3 min for attention from any of staff. Acknowledgement will be nice and happy to wait... Ryan was amazing. He seems to be Very busy with cleaning table rather with giving us more attention. But the lady with a tattoo on the left hand and big half-moon necklines were very helpful. Great all over experience as the team but not as individuals.

We had the pre theatre set menu and the dishes were delicious. I registered on their website and got a free bottle of wine, so we had a lovely meal at a really good price!

Excellent Service and food. We had pre-theatre meal - steak and frites plus desserts. Food good value and well cooked and cheerful staff. Only negative was that I thought I would get a rib eye steak in place aof a minute steak but they warned me it would take 20 to 25 minutes - for a medium cooked steak I would suggest they reconsider cooking time because if you cook that for 25 mins you are going to have a pile of burnt ash!

Fabulous welcome, great window seat. Amazing food and staff as always. Recommend the breton chicken and tarte Tatin. Cote is great value and love going there.

Ideal pre-theatre supper with an intriguing set menu at under £20 (including service). The Starters were particularly original and everything my party ate was perfectly cooked and handsomely presented. And the service was swift and very polite. An excellent choice.

A nice relaxed atmosphere.Tables not to close together which made conversation easy and nice not hearing the conversation on the next table. The set menu was very good value and ideal for lunch.

Wonderful, attentive staff, yet they won't be in your face. I am a regular guest and every time I feel very welcomed. Good pre-theatre menu value and very decent wine list for a fracture of what most Soho establishments offer ( which should be a case not an exception anyway!). Haven't given a 6 as food was rather slow coming to the table - and the restaurant wasn't THAT busy to explain that. Food, service good.
