Lunchtime menu good value and good service. Good location in heart of West End. No problem with recommending this restaurant - one of the best ones in this chain.

Great food, great service and great value, particularly the early evening set menu. I'm been to at least five different Cote restuarants and the overall quality in consistent.

Always great value for money and excellent food. Waiter got our order wrong even though he asked twice what we wanted meaning we had to rush the meal as long wait to right meals to arrive. But this was just a hiccup as normally I don't have any issue with cote.

Great food and service. A bit too noisy atmosphere. Good selection on both the food menu and the drink menu. Can highly recommend the duck.

The restaurant's manager was amazing: a lovely person, with a warm character and superb communications skills. The bond grew stronger when we communicated in our respective mother's and father's tongues. She offered us a bottle of proseco and white wine for not being able to accommodate a special request of ours. The food was good and the service was nice, too. Thanks for making last evening memorable. See you soon.

It was very busy in the downstairs section and it seemed understaffed with one waiter attending to a full section of pre theatre diners. Our waiter Ryan clearly had his hands full but he managed to give everyone very friendly and attentive personal service, despite clearly being busy he found time to chat and made dining at Cote a real pleasure - he was interested in his customers - a real star!

Really varied menu. Great good as always. Staff always excellent and friendly. Lunch this time but have eaten breakfast and dinner at Cote Wardour. Fantastic for social or business dining.

Quick, helpful service - the pre-theatre deal is very good value for money and perfect portion sizes. Would definately come back. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and even though we lingered for ages after our meal and the restaurant was busy we were not made to feel they were in any hurry for our table.

Cote often send deals which I don't often use but tonight I decided to have a pre-theatre meal and use my free bottle of wine deal but the staff there seem to want to accept it! Why give people deals if you don't actually want them to use them?

Food was excellent and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Only thing I would object to (and it is a little thing) is that a charge is made for a basket of bread but customers are just asked if they would like bread, not told there is a charge. The bread was delicious and it was only a small charge of £2.40 but most restaurants, especially in France, provide bread free of charge.

Good quality french dining with friendly staff. Would particularly recommend the fillet steak. It is safer to book for pre-theatre hours though as it can get busy.

Went here for a pre theatre lunch. Good value for London. Nice food. Friendly staff. Got very busy so had to wait for our bill but other than that we enjoyed it.

Food was fine but was met with indifference when we queried where one of the sides we ordered went. Got a vague suggestion it was on the way but never arrived. Mentioned again when the plates were cleared and item was still on the bill. Bit disappointing; have been here before without issue.

The food, as always, was good and good value. The service was slow, especially considering it was in the pre-theatre slot (which was why we were there) and felt detached and impersonal (not our usual experience with Cote)

Cote Brasserie is a restaurant I keep going back to. They offer a great range of French dishes at affordable prices. The set menu is excellent value and the ever changing range of dishes on offer is inventive, fresh, seasonal and very well prepared. The staff are very welcoming and professional and, unlike other brasserie style restaurants I've visited, at Cote you never feel hurried. The food is great quality and they have an extensive and well priced wine list with several selections available by the glass. The restaurant has a great atmosphere thanks to eclectic mix of diners and the enthusiastic and personable staff. Heartily recommended for either group or solo dining.

The customer service was very very good. We were a group of 5 and all ordered a main. 4 arrived together while one arrived 30 minutes later. One of my friend had black pepper allergy and he clearly asked for a sirloin without pepper. It arrived full of pepper so we asked to replace it, the waiter was really nice and helpful and he promptly took the plate and ordered for another one. The staff was very helpful and they apologise for the delay and the mistake. I would say I rate the staff 6 for their customer care but the kitchen 3 for their not great time organisation and compliance with customer request. It was a Friday evening so I can relate these problems to the fact that the restaurant was full. Food was great, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I had the fish stew that was tasty and very enjoyable, and a tarte au citron that was absolutely delicious, not too sweet, very well balanced. Price in line with the quality of food.

Good value 3 course set menu. Tasty menu, good choice of seasonal dishes. Friendly speedy service. Ideal for pre-theatre dinner, e.g. at Prince Edward Theatre which is 3 blocks away. The chocolate pot dessert is a delight for chocoholics!

Service was extremely slow. We all ordered from the pre theatre 2 course menu, with 6 of us ordering starters and 1 ordering dessert at the time of the waitress taking our orders. 1 main course was cold and had to be sent back. My steak was cold but was too hungry to send it back, plus when the first main was sent back, the waitress looked annoyed so I didn't want to give mine. After we finished, the lady who had already pre ordered her dessert waiting 30 minutes for her dessert. We had to flag down the waitress. The waitress then said she had put dessert menus on the table to see if anyone else had wanted dessert, but she didn't make herself clear when doing so, nor did she come back to ask us if anyone else wanted dessert before she put through the already ordered one. She was pretty useless and rude, and sadly I won't be going back to the branch of Cote because of it.

We visited for a pre-theatre lunch and chose from the lunch set menu. I started with air-dried pork with celeriac remoulade, which was light and tasty, while my husband enjoyed salt cod croquettes. For mains we both chose the steak with frites, which were excellent. I usually opt for the fish but was not keen on the fish dish offered on the current menu. For desserts neither of us could resist the chocolate pots, which are divine! The service was excellent as always.

A well situated (for theatres, etc) place to eat and the food was perfectly cooked and good value. The ambient music was a good choice but we did feel it was uncomfortably loud. It may not bother some people and by removing our hearing aids it was just about bearable. For this reason alone, we probably would not return. I am a little concerned that, in the long term, the friendly and helpful young staff may suffer hearing damage.

Pre theatre menu was incredibly slow - we were almost late for the show, even though we allowed two hours for eating! Didn't have time for a dessert. They ran out of the ONLY vegetarian option on the pre theatre menu and begrudgingly offered an alternative after pestering. Rude staff, came over with another tables' food twice and kept getting annoyed when we said it wasn't ours! Not good food when it eventually came out. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend
