Côte Soho

Our party of six had the two course pre-theatre menu, with a bottle of Cremant. We sat downstairs and it was a busy and convivial atmosphere. Our waitress was lovely and the service was good. We all enjoyed both our courses and we would be happy to eat there again.

Great location and usual good service for Cote, although we had not visited this location before. But food was not up to the usual standards: starters of pea and mint soup wasn't tasty, mussels excellent though. Chicken foriestere hadn't been heated through fully. Good wine choice of Picpoul and nice apple crumble.

We visited this restaurant on two consecutive nights for a pre theatre meal on both occasions the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious and arrived quickly . We will certainly be back .

The bill was excess 40£ wrong out of a total of 160 £. The waiter refused that we could two starters and no main course when ordering a two course meal.

The service was only okay, the waiter was quite rude and got my order wrong twice so had to send back food. Apart from the, nice restaurant.

Lovely restaurant with a cosy ambience. Main course took a while to come out after the starter but food was lovely especially the French onion soup.

Have a very enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was nice, the food was good and we received excellent service. We would recommend as excellent venue following a day's shopping or pre-theatre.

The food was excellent and the service was superb. Would definitely go there again and would recommend to others. We have been to Cote before but not had the a la carte menu, previously just had a meal from the pre-7pm menu.. Would choose that menu again and in fact, any of the menus - good choice of dishes.

Always a delight. Friendly staff and quick service. Just right for a pre-theatre meal. The swordfish on the March specials menu was particularly delicious and very well cooked.

I really enjoyed Cote when I visited. They had good service and we got to the theatre on time. Love the food and will definitely come back another time.

We are here twice in a week. Service was friendly and food and wine very good. The tarte tartin was a fantastic end to a very good dinner.

Even better than I was expecting! The onion soup was just as good as the ones I had in Paris, and everything else was also amazing. Their set menus are very reasonably priced for what you get. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!

So pleased to see a gluten free menu. Good food at a reasonable price with attentive service. Would eat at this restaurant again whin in Soho.

Had the pre theatre meal at 5pm, the staff were great and the food was really nice and surprisingly large for the price. Would definitely come back again

Lovely food! - I had the risotto vert, very delicous. My mum had the cod goujons with some gorgeous fresh peas. We had a lovely red wine, and the atmosphere was really nice and lively. Always yummy at côte 😋

Food and service are good but like many other restaurants the place is noisy. Prices are reasonable by modern standards. Recommended but with some caution.

Usual good food and service which I've come to expect at Cote. Not spectacular, but a consistently good chain. The fixed price menu remains very good value

Friendly staff, however the quality of the food was at a disappointment. Both my pork belly and my partners beef over cooked and even the creme brûlée was burned on top.

Cote Soho ways feels classy and relaxed. Very reasonable and tasty rotating set menu. Lovely ambience and friendly staff. Always good for professional meetings as reliable.

Food was excellent and the service good if a little slow. Although the restaurant wasn't particularly busy we had to wait for more drinks and even had to go to the bar area for our bill after requesting it several times at the table.

Excellent food, service and price plus we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff - very nice to be welcomed at the entrance door by Christian name!

The food was good and the service attentive. However, the men's toilets were not up to the same standard, particularly the cubicles. The floor was particularly sticky.

slow service (10 minutes of credit card down to pay), obviously too few staff, salad had far too much dressing. Servers were friendly and upbeat however.

Very good service, atmosphere and quality of food. The set menu was superb value as usual - three courses for £15 - no where else in London compares!!

Good service, varied menu and wine list. Good situation close to theatre land. The pre theatre menu is very good value with good sized portions. Good cooking.

Always enjoy Cotes, usually go for set menu. Great value and very enjoyable after a days shopping. Food cooked well and a varied menu which changes monthly .

overall a pleasant lunch, in a nice atmosphere. Sadly there was some confusion over the bill which on the third attempt was rectified by the manager.

Very good meal and excellent service from Martina.The rib eye was a bit tougher than it should have been but the Lamb Shank was tender and full of flavour. The starters (Chicken Liver Parfait and Crab Mayonnaise) were perfect.Two nice glasses of Cote du Rhone rounded the meal off nicely.

Thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to this restaurant. The manager and team work hard to ensure a pleasant experience. Last night the food was very good and the service excellent. Kevin.

Best French restaurant in Soho! As a French couple, we were impressed by the quality of dishes and the romantic atmosphere of the dining room. We recommend it and we will go back there surely!

Ate here to celebrate my daughters birthday before going to the theatre. I had booked a table online for 5.30pm. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs. We opted to sit downstairs which worked out really well as there was no one else down stairs so we had the waitress to ourselves for a long time. It was nice and quiet. The waitress was very friendly and the service was very quick.We really liked the ambience of the restaurant. We selected food from the pre-theatre menu. The food was delicious and well presented. We all thought the food was great value for money. The waiting staff picked up on the fact it was my daughters birthday and presented her with a chocolate fondant with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to her which was really nice touch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our first visit to this branch of Cote and we were delighted with the quality of service, warmth of welcome and great value for money.

I had lunch at the Soho Cote on sat 24th Jan , the staff where amazing and made it a special lunch for my sister who was celebrating her 50th birthday. Thank you for making her feel special , she loved it .

Great location very efficient matre de. Waiting staff downstairs where fairly efficient but not attentive as they could be. Ordered 3 starters firstly only 2 came out with no explanation where the 3rd was. Questioned it so the third was brought out then the original was brought out. I had ordered steak for my main. It felt like The waiting staff put down my steak knife right in front my face while I was chatting, which made me jump. Also not once did we get asked if the food was ok. Overall good experience just think staff need a bit more training.

amazing starter onion pizza with anchovie ,gratin artichoke and the chicory roquefort and crouton correct main chicken nice but dry and basic mushroom sauce and the fish stew

Excellent service - especially when we only had 45min before the theatre. Staff were extremely helpful. We will definitely be back before another theatre show.

First time in this Cote. Food good as always. Excellent team; friendly and attentive. Manager extremely helpful in resolving a bill query... Overall, great experience.

went for my birthday lunch and had the best service ever !!! The manageress and two of the lovely Ladies who served us sang Happy Birthday to me and looked after us sooooo well. The food from the set menu was fab !! Ideal location for a pre-theatre lunch.

The food we had was fantastic with a cosy atmosphere and very reasonable prices for central London. Service is also great and friendly. Will definitely be going again and recommending to others

All ways good value and service.. And cog Au vin on the express menu is always winner too. Will return at the earliest opportunity. Santé!
