Côte Soho

We spent a very pleasant evening at Cote Soho. The waitresses were efficient and very accommodating. Service was quick and the food, while not exceptional, was enjoyable. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their choices.

We love Cote in Wardour Street & this is where we head when in London. The manager & his staff are excellent, can’t do enough for you & always give you plenty of time to choose your food & enjoy it. The food as usual was lovely. I chose from the pre-theatre menu & my husband from the prestige menu. Our sons had paid for a bottle of wine as it was my husband’s birthday & the staff brought out a dessert complete with candle & sang happy birthday. A great evening.

A good position for theatre. The restaurant was noisy with the staff crashing plates and cutlery. Some of the staff seemed to have difficulty understanding our requests. The food was generally of a good standard but my wife said her plaice was overcooked and had probably been kept warm for too long. The chilled tomato soup was excellent. Some staff retraining might help towards an experience more like other Cotes.

The meal and service were excellent as usual, but the air conditioning was struggling in the heat and not succeeding. A neighbouring party was very noisy, but that's not in your control.

Recommend you book a table as the restaurant gets very busy for early dinner in the theatre district. Special pre theatre menu as well as a la carte, reasonable priced, good service

AWAYS reliable and friendly staff. The menu appeals to both young and old and respect is given to children( provided they are behaving themselves!) which is admirable

A nice restaurant, which was my first visit to this branch. The manager was friendly and we had a table by the open window. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed the Prestige lunch/early evening menu. Will be back on Sunday for lunch!

Very reliable - good friendly and efficient service and food was good too. i appreciated that our request for a quiet table was heard and we were offered the option of sitting downstairs which was very quiet indeed!

Great service and food as expected. Greeted politely on the way in and complimentary drinks were served very efficiently. Lovely waiters and waitresses and a great location. Boujie with a non-boujie price tag which is always great, especially in the capital.

The presentation of the food was not up to usual standard. Some of vegetables over cooked Took some time to get waiters attention Not up to Cote's usual standard.

We always go here for pre theatre meal if in London. The staff are always wonderful and the food is excellent. Recommend highly. It is also air conditioned which is a plus in this hot weather

Great service from start till finish. We had a great time. We all had starters n mains. The mussels I had as a starter was tiny maybe not in season and linguine seafood was slightly watery.

We had a great time and the food was excellent. Only slight negative was that we were only offered the premium set menu. Whilst that was fine for us - the persistent upsell feeling left us feeling a little disappointed overall - however we would return.

Visited Cote in Soho with friend. Received good welcome and given choice of tables. Food and service as always very good. My friend was only drinking water and the waitress kept on bringing fresh bottles of the complimentary water to the table which was well received ..

Great location, a little quieter than the At Martin's Lane ranch, and it's usually possible to get a pre-theatre table without having to bookmark Set menus are a bargain and excellent food and value from money.

First time at this Cote. It was noisy but the service was excellent and the food was very good - as usual. New prestige menu is a great idea.

a great visit. brilliant relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff without being overpowering, and delicious food and wine, and modest pricing. the three choices of menus was appreciated. i'll certainly be back.

Good food, good service and reasonably priced - though glasses of wine are a bit pricey - is the hallmark of Cote restaurants and Soho is no exception.

The visit for 6 of us to the Cote Soho restaurant was extremely enjoyable. The food as ever was excellently prepared and the service was excellent and friendly. As a group we always meet at a Cote because we know the food and service is always top class.

We ordered and 25 minutes later we asked - where is the starter only to be told that the steak tartar was “off”. This was not acceptable. I use Cote a lot. However the waitress was massively and repeatedly aplogetic and ultimately i forgave her.

Met friends from the South Coast for breakfast at Cote in Soho ... Service was very good and the waitress was very flexible with menu with one of the party who was very picky! Food was excellent as was the atmosphere.. superb place for breakfast...

Went there to celebrate my birthday. Was greeted with 2 Kir Royales for my birthday. The service is well attentive and the food is always of the same quality. Love Cote

The food is always nice, well presented and love the staff. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, felt sorry to see the staff running like headless chicken!

Second time I have used this restaurant on both occasions the service and food have been first class. Would definitely recommend it. Sampled both lunch and dinner.

The food was great as usual, however, the service was a bit inattentive given the restaurant was not that busy on a Sunday evening. It required us to track down the wait staff a few times.

The restaurant was lovely. The windows was open due to the heat which gave a lovely breeze and kept everyone happy. The staff were very attentive, kind and polite and the food was good as always.

Outstanding food and service. We enjoyed a pre theatre meal on Saturday evening. We couldn't fault this super meal at Wardour Street. It was complimented by very nice wine no 1.

This is where we usually meet our friends for dinner when in central London. The food is unpretentious and good and the service always fast and professional.

The pre thatre menu is extremely good value, the service was good and I would recommend to anyone who wants good food at a reasonable price in central london.

Cote always lives up to expectations. it was my birthday and they very kindly came out with a delicious chocolate pudding with a candle and singing - nice touch. thank you!

The service was very poor despite there being little customers, our waiter seemed to have no interest in looking after us, I asked if the pork belly was very fatty and he said not too much and even recommended it. When the dish came it was 65% fat, I showed it to him and stated my partners was more meaty then mine. The reply I got was “it all depends on the cut” no apology or anything. My partner asked if the gratin had cheese and was told you can just leave on the side if you don’t want it, he decided to go for chips to be on the safe side, when mine came it didn’t have any cheese. I ordered a flat white at the end that was only luke warm. We noticed the staff actively giving other tables more time and having a conversation. Awful service.

Great service and reliable pre theatre menu. My portion of asparagus was small and had seen better days, but overall the food was good. Staff very accommodating when we switched tables.

Food took so long to come out we had to take it away as we needed to get to the theatre. We also missed the first song of the show we were seeing so we were quite upset.

Love the food, the staff and the atmosphere! Côte Soho is our local when in London-we can relax and enjoy. It’s also very good value and we appreciate the occasional offers of free wine.

Excellent waitress and food good as ever!! First waiter recommended a ‘better’ wine that the one we were going to go with and actually he was right, well done!

Excellent value and lovely, cheerful, efficient service. Perfect for pre theatre dinner. Would definitely go back. Grilled sardines were very good as was the baked Camembert.

We had a lovely experience yesterday. The staff were extremely good. We all had a different choice from the menu and the food was excellent as it always is in Cote.

Went to Cote in Soho rather than my usual haunt in Charlotte Street. Brought 3 friends none of whom had been to a Cote restaurant- although extremely busy service good as was the food. Friends were impressed with menus and all agreed would definitively add Cote to their list of restaurants ...

A very pleasant meal, friendly attentive staff , a good value pre theatre menu. 3 courses for £14.95 my steak and fries were perfect, will visit again when we are at the theatre,
